Celem mojej rozprawy magisterskiej jest wyeksponowanie obrazu femme fatale w kategoriach modernistycznych na podstawie inspirujących utworów literatury polskiej. Główne zadania niniejszej pracy sformułowałabym następująco: 1. Scharakteryzowanie „wampiryzmu” jako punktu „wyjściowego” badań obrazu kobiety fatalnej w literaturze europejskiej. 2. Wprowadzenie kategorii femme fatale w pole semantyczne polskiej literatury modernistycznej. Napisana przeze mnie rozprawa magisterska składa się ze wstępu, trzech rozdziałów i zakończenia. W pierwszym rozdziale niniejszej pracy pt. Zagadnienia teoretyczne są przedstawione główne kategorie literaturoznawcze, wykorzystane w rozprawie. W części drugiej, zatytułowanej Kobieta fatalna w kontekście europejskiego wampiryzmu, jest przybliżona historia pojawienia się wampiryzmu w kulturze i literaturze europejskiej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem aspektów polskich. Analizowane są także utwory o tematyce wampirycznej, które weszły do historii literatury. Są to Narzeczona z Koryntu Johanna Wolfganga Goethe, Wampiryzm Ernsta Theodora Amadeusza Hoffmanna, Rodzina wilkołaka Aleksego K. Tołstoja oraz Dracula Brama Stokera. Wyeksponowane są zmiany w kobiecej tematyce w literaturze wieku XIX. Rozdział trzeci został bezpośrednio poświęcony tematyce femme fatale w literaturze Młodej Polski, analizie wybranych przeze mnie utworów literackich. W zakończeniu podaję wnioski niniejszej rozprawy. / Magistrinio darbo Femme fatale lenkiškojo modernizmo literatūroje. Parinkti aspektai tikslas atvaizduoti femme fatale modernistiniuose kategorijuose remiantis inspiraciniais lenkiškos literatūros kūriniais. Pasiekti šį tikslą yra įmanoma išsprendus šias užduotis: apibudinti “vampirizmą” kaip “ išeinamąjį” fatališkosios moters vaizdo europos literatūroje tyrimų punktą bei įvesti kategoriją femme fatale į lenkiškos modernistinės literatūros semantikos rėmus. Darbas susideda iš įvado, trijų skyrių ir išvadų. Įvade yra pateikta bendroji informacija apie Jaunosios Lenkijos epochą, šio laikotarpio naują požiūrį į moterį ir jos situacija socijalinėje ir literatūrinėje sferoje. Pimame skyriuje Teorijos pagrindai yra pateikta pagrindinė informacija apie hermeneutikos ir gender literatūros disciplinas. Antrajame skyriuje, pavadintame Fatališkoji moteris europietiško vampirizmo kontekste, priartinama vampirizmo atsiradimo istorija europos kulturoje ir literatūroje, atsižvelgiant į lenkiškus aspektus. Parodomi moteriškos tematikos pokyčiai XIX amžiaus litaratūroje. Trečioji dalys Modernistiniai atvaizdavimai femme fatale lenkiškoje literatūroje yra paskirta tematikai femme fatale Jaunosios Lenkijos literatūroje, išrinktu kūrinių analizei. Išvadose yra apibendrinti tyrimo rezultatai. / The purpose of this research, which is called Femme fatale in polish literature of modernism was to exhibit the image of femme fatale on the basis of inspiring works in polish literature. This task can be resolved by completing the following assignments: describing “vampirism” as “initial” point of inquiry of fatal woman in European literature, introduction of category of femme fatale into semantic field of polish modernism. This dissertation consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. In introduction is given the main information about Young Poland époque, its look upon new situation of woman in social and literary ranges. In first chapter called Theoretical basis is represented the main information about hermeneutics and gender literature. Second chapter Fatal woman in context of European vampirism is approached the appearance of vampirism in European culture and literature with taking into consideration polish aspects. Into prominence are brought feminine subjects in literature of 19th century. Chapter three was concentrated on subjects of femme fatale of Young Poland and analysis of chosen literary works. The results of analysis are summarized in conclusion.

Cette étude vise à comparer les représentations du mythe de l’androgyne dans la littérature française fin-de-siècle et à l’époque de la Jeune Pologne sur l’exemple des œuvres choisies de Rachilde, Huysmans, Komornicka et Przybyszewski. La genèse de ce mythe reflète le caractère complexe et hétérogène de l’être à sexe indéterminé, mettant en valeur la continuité de la vie des mythes dans les textes littéraires. Néanmoins, son entrée dans la littérature marquerait la dégradation du mythe par rapport au mythe primaire. Autrement dit, l’androgyne fin-de-siècle de chair et d’os marque la rupture avec l’androgyne initial, incarnation de l’union harmonieuse, ce qui impose une certaine hiérarchie aux versions postérieures du récit mythique. L’objectif est d’adopter une nouvelle approche envers la figure du Double à l’aube du XXe siècle, en ajoutant un apport polonais. L’accent est mis sur le contexte et les sens polyvalents transmis par l’androgyne. Dans l’optique de la méthode du comparatisme différentiel, l’objectif est d’instaurer un rapport non hiérarchisant entre les versions du mythe de l’androgyne en France et en Pologne. La perspective de l’analyse s’étend sur les rapprochements entre les deux mondes littéraires, la réception, les influences partagées et le différentiel. / This study aims to compare various depictions of the myth of androgyny in late-century French literature and during the Young Poland period on the example of selected works by Huysmans, Rachilde, Komornicka and Przybyszewski. The genesis of this myth reflects the complex and heterogeneous character of the figure of indeterminate sex, highlighting the continuity of the existence of myths in literary texts. Nevertheless, its entry into the literature would be perceived as a mark of degradation of the myth in comparison to the primordial one. In other words, the androgyny of flesh and bone demonstrates the break with the initial androgyny being the incarnation of the harmonious union, which imposes a certain hierarchy on the perception of later versions of the mythical narrative. The goal is to take a new approach to the figure of Double at the dawn of the twentieth century, by adding a Polish contribution. The focus is on the context and the versatile meanings conveyed. In the context of the differential comparatism method, the aim is to establish a non-hierarchical relationship between different versions of the myth of androgyne in the works of French and Polish authors. The perspective of the analysis extends to the connections between the two literary worlds, the reception, the shared influences and the differences.

Celem wyeksponowania poetyki Franciszki Arnsztajnowej przez zarys monograficzny jest wydobycie młodopolskiej poetki i jej dorobku z „niepamięci“. Osiągnięcie tego celu jest możliwe przez wprowadzenie twórczości Franciszki Arnsztajnowej w kontekst historyczno-literacki epoki oraz scharakteryzowanie istotnych cech jej poetyki. Napisana praca składa się ze wstępu, trzech rozdziałów i zakończenia. W pierwszym rozdziale pracy pt. Zagadnienia teoretyczne przedstawiłam podstawowe informacje teoretyczne. W drugiej części rozprawy, zatytułowanej Wybrane konteksty twórczości F. Arnsztajnowej, wyeksponowałam biografię młodopolskiej poetki na tle historyczno-literackim. Starałam się doszukać w jej twórczości śladów inspiracji twórczością innych poetów. W rozdziale trzecim pt. Poezja F. Arnsztajnowej: poetyka i najważniejsze motywy przedstawiłam dorobek poetycki Arnsztajnowej na podstawie interpretacji wybranych wątków literackich. / Magistrinio darbo F. Arnštajnovos poezija. Pasiekti šį tikslą yra įmanoma išsprendus šias užduotis: parodyti poetės kūrybos vietą literatūros tradicijoje ir Jaunosios Lenkijos kontekste bei išryškinti jos poetikos bruožus. Darbas susideda iš įvado, trijų skyrių ir išvadų: Įvade yra pateikta bendroji informacija apie Jaunosios Lenkijos epochą, šio laikotarpio požiūrį į moterį-poetę bei jų situaciją. Pirmajame skyriuje Teorijos pagrindai yra pateikta pagrindinė informacija iš hermeneutikos ir gender literatūros disciplinų. Antrasis skyrius pavadinimu F. Arnštajnovos kūryba išrinktųjų kontekstų atžvilgiu supažindina su poetės biografija. Šioje dalyje taip pat yra parodyta poetės kūryba kitų rašytojų atžvilgiu. Trečioji magistrinio darbo dalis F. Arnštajnovos poezija: poetika ir svarbiausi motyvai yra skirta rašytojos poezijos interpretavimui ir analizei. Išryškinti pagrindiniai motyvai ir parodyti lyrikos bruožai. Išvadose yra apibendrinti tyrimo rezultatai. / Masters courses in the work of F. Arnsztajnowa's poetry. Trying to establish a monograph goal today is to show the forgotten poet, has lived and created Young Poland era, poetics. Achieving this goal is possibly resolving the following tasks: to show poetess creative literary tradition, and the location of the Young Poland and the context of highlighting the essential features of the poetics. The work consists of introduction, three sections and the conclusions: The introduction is given general information about the Young Poland era, the period of treatment of a woman-a poet, and their situation. The first section of the framework is the theory of the basic information of hermeneutics, and gender literature disciplines. The second section of the name Selected contexts of F. Arnsztajnowa's work presents poetess biography. In this part is also shown poetess work in respect of other writers. Masters courses in the third section of the work F. Arnsztajnowa's poetry: poetics and the most important motives shows interpretation and analysis of the writer poetry. Highlights the main reasons and shows lyric features. In conclusion are summarized the results of the investigation.

This study deals with the four-composer Polish musical association, Young Polish Composers' Publishing Company, which became commonly known as the group Poland in Music. Young Poland in Music is considered by Polish and non-Polish music historians to be the signal inaugurator of modernism in Polish music. However, despite this most important attribution, the past eighty-odd years have witnessed considerable confusion over the perceptions of: 1) exactly who constituted the publishing company, 2) why it was founded, 3) what the intentions of its members were, and 4) the general reception its members' music received. This paper addresses and resolves this multiple confusion. Chapter I presents an introductory survey of the political, socio/cultural, and musical developments of Poland between 1772 and c1900, the period of the Polish Partitions through the beginnings of the "Young Poland" era. Chapter II presents a discussion of the facts surrounding the founding of the publishing company, as well as a discussion of the eighty-odd years of historical misinterpretations that have developed about the composers' company and its relationship to "Young Poland in Music." Chapter III discusses the interpersonal relationships of the composers and other persons directly involved with them and their company, and the impact that these relationships had on the publishing company. Additionally, the chapter brings into focus the specific relationships between the musicologist, Adolf Chybiński, the company, and its individual members. The chapter concludes with a discussion of the actual publishing activities of the company. Chapter IV examines the three concerts sponsored by the company and their critical receptions in Warsaw and Berlin through the surviving reviews and comments of leading contemporary music critics, the concert participants, the composers' close colleagues, and the composers themselves. Finally, Chapter V contains a brief discussion of the music presented on the three concerts, characterizing the works within the context of their initial critical reception.

In my diploma thesis I am focused on biography of polish composer Karol Szymanowski. In his biography I briefly analyze his major works of three different creative periods and I present what was he inspired of at those periods (eg. Wagner's harmony, oriental music, folk music of Podhale etc.). Afterwards, I detaily focus on analysis of the ballet "Harnasie", which is most inspired by the folklore music from Zakopané, where he lived for a part of his life. I analyze the ballet from music aspect, I also write about libretto, kostumes, scenography atc. I have added the ballet notes samples as a part of the musical analysis to facilitate orientation. I have included images of people, places, folk costumes, architecture and dance I am writing about. Annexes include notes samples and another images from composer's life and also a list of compositions, which are included on CD.
