In principle discipleship is the continuation of the mission of Jesus through the imitation (hupodeigma) of Jesus' way of life. This implies that his disciples will live according to the will of God, for Jesus was the personification of the will of God. The disciples of Jesus are therefore the locus of the manifestation of God -- their way of life must indicate the presence of Jesus (and God) in the world in a different mode. Discipleship indicates a personal relationship between Jesus and his disciples which is modelled/based on the Father-Son relationship which is elucidated by the agency model. A Descent-Ascent Schema forms the setting for this concept, with the Johannine dualism as the determining factor for this schema. Thus the 'agency' motif constitutes the structure for discipleship in the Fourth Gospel with a revelatory-salvivic assignment. The revelatory aspect concerns the disciples' relationship towards God and the salvivic aspect their directedness towards the world. The disciples have to live a holy life through which God will be revealed and which will enable them to accomplish their mission in the world so that the world may become saved. The main aim of Diploma thesis is to evaluate the family house before and after reconstruction in three different locations graded by population. Three selected methods are used for the valuation, namely: the cost method according to the valuation regulation, the comparative method according to the valuation regulation, and the method of direct comparison. The cost method takes into account the design of the family house in both states, the land is valued by direct comparison. Key indexes are taken into account in the comparative method according to the valuation rule. In the direct comparison method, we work with a database of single-family houses in a range of locations.

This master thesis concerns about problematics of wind turbines. The document summarizes basic theory based on the law of momentum conservation which is essential tool for the design and calculation of wind turbines. The theory is complemented by number of correction factors and then used in the design of wind turbine for specific parameters. The calculation is performed iteratively using Matlab software and the actual code is given in appendix. Graphs summarizing the progress of various units along the blades are presented in the document. The final section briefly describes advanced topics of aerodynamics concerning other important factors that the field of wind energy deal with in recent time.

The thesis Literary Relationship Between the Gospel of Mark and the Gospel of Thomas aims to provide a closer look at the relationship between the ca- nonical Gospel According to Mark and the apocryphal Gospel According to Thomas. The first part of the thesis serves as an introduction: After prolego- mena to the Gospel of Mark and Thomas, it focuses on several contempora- ry hypotheses of the literary relationship between the Gospel of Thomas and Synoptics, as discussed in more recent articles and monographs. Thereafter, the second part of the thesis presents three studies of Thoma- sian and Markan sayings of Jesus. Where necessary, an excursion is made to other synoptic writings. The second part uses the method of linguistic comparison in order to reconstruct the redaction history and thus explain the original literary relationship of these two ancient writings.

A sample of agricultural parcels in Salt Lake County, Utah was analyzed to determine the effects on assessed values and per acre taxes under alternative assessment methods; assessment according to market value or agricultural value (preferential treatment). The assessed value changes and tax shifting between all classes of taxable property in the county were calculated with and without the preferential assessment of agricultural land and at assessment levels equalized for all classes. Variations in assessed value, agricultural and market values and assessment ratios were analyzed for the parcels in the sample by location and size of the parcel, present use, occupation of the owner, and the degree of development of the surrounding land. Under preferential treatment the total assessed value of agricultural land would not be lower than the 1967 level. Farm land qualifying for preferential treatment would have lower per acre taxes.

UAB ,,Raseinių žuvininkystės“ tvenkiniai suformuoti 1967-1979 m. Jie išsidėstę trijose vietose: šalia Gabšių gyvenvietės – Raseinių tvenkinių kompleksas, maitinamas Prabaudos upės vandeniu; Upės upelio slėnyje įrengtas Paupio tvenkinių kompleksas aukščiau apie 1 km nuo Paupio gyvenvietės ir tarp Šešuvio ir jo intako Alsos esančioje teritorijoje. Bendras tvenkinių plotas 1042 ha. Tvenkininė žuvininkystė vis labiau pradeda įsitvirtinti tarp kaimo verslų, nors sovietmečiu pastatytuose žuvininkystės tvenkiniuose su mechaniniu vandens kėlimu vandens apykaitai tvenkiniuose palaikyti reikalingos didelės lėšos energetinėms išlaidoms apmokėti, tačiau šis kaimo verslas sukuria nemažai darbo vietų kaime, o žuvininkystės produkcija turi paklausą ne tik Lietuvoje, bet ir užsienyje. Žuvininkystės sukuriama produkcija gerokai sumažėjo lyginant ją su 1990 m., tada buvo išauginta ir sugauta 5800 tonų žuvies, 1998 m. žuvų sugavimas sudarė 1511 tonų, 2001 m. – 2001 tonų ir 2006 – 2225 tonų. Norint sėkmingai plėtoti žuvininkystės verslą, reikalinga ieškoti būdų atnaujinti žuvininkystės įmonių tvenkinių siurblinių energetinę įrangą, remontuoti žuvininkystės tvenkinių hidrotechnikos statinius.Šio darbo tikslas - atlikti UAB ,,Raseinių žuvininkystės“ įmonės tvenkinių HTS techninės būklės tyrimą ir įvertinimą, siekiant gauti ir panaudoti Europos Sąjungos struktūrinių fondų lėšas numatomai renovacijai ir modernizavimui. / The fishponds of the closed joint-stock company “Raseiniai žuvininkystė” were arranged during 1967-1979 years. They are located in the three following places: near the settlement of Gabšiai - the complex of Raseiniai ponds is feeded by the waters of the Prabauda river; in the stream Upe valley the Paupys pond complex is arranged about 1 km upstream the settlement of Paupys and in the territory between the Šešuvis river and its tributary Alsa there is Alsa fishponds . The total fishponds area is 1042 ha. In order to successfully plan the activity of fishery enterprises the evaluation and forward planning of the technical condition of the present ponds’ hydraulic structures is necessary for the reconstruction. The aim of this work was to carry out the investigation and evaluation of the technical state of the hydraulic structures built on the ponds of the closed joint-stock company “Raseiniai žuvininkystė” in order to use the means from the European Union structural funds for the planned renovation and modernization.
