Rozvoj instrumentace programu při překladu / Development of Instrumentation during CompilationŠevčík, Václav January 2020 (has links)
The focus of this master's thesis is on the topic of instrumentation during the compilation process in the LLVM compiler. The tool enables to instrument memory accesses and functions. The instrumentation is realized through adding a novel pass to the LLVM's optimalization phase. Information about variables are managed by the created framework. The framework is linked with the program. The overhead of the instrumentation increases duration of the program by about 14 % in the case of switched off indirect addressing and 23 % in the case of switched on indirect addressing. The main benefit of the work is the possibility of easy instrumentation of the program which can even monitor operation of local variables through indirect addressing) and support multithread programs. The framework is part of Testos's tools where it provides automatic instrumentation in the Spectra tool.

An investigation into the role and challenges faced by AIDS Councils in addressing HIV and AIDS in their communities: the case of the Ehlanzeni AIDS CouncilZitha, Sipho Siphiwosethu 11 1900 (has links)
Text in English / The purpose of this study was to investigate the role and challenges of AIDS Councils
in addressing HIV and AIDS in their communities with regard to community
mobilization and advocacy within the broader advocacy function of the South African
National AIDS Council (SANAC) and within the framework of the HIV & AIDS and STI
Strategic plan for South Africa 2007-2011(NSP). A qualitative research design was
applied. Individual face to face interviews were conducted with the respondents who
were purposively sampled across the five local municipalities comprising Ehlanzeni
District Municipality.
Similar studies conducted previously suggest that many AIDS Councils stakeholders
and members had a limited understanding of their role, and encountered more
challenges in addressing HIV and AIDS in their communities. This study revealed that
stakeholders and members seem to have steadily progressed in understanding their
role as well as in weathering the various challenges they are confronted with within
the AIDS councils. Be that as it may, there still exists some gaps between what is
envisaged in both the NSPs (NSP 2000-2005 and NSP 2006-2011) and the current
situation in many LACs. Many questions still need to be answered if South Africans
are prepared to triumph over the AIDS pandemic. / Sociology / M.A. (Sociology (Social Behaviour Studies in HIV and AIDS))

Teachers’ perspectives on addressing barriers to learning in learners in an independent mainstream high school in Gauteng provincePillay, Renel 05 January 2021 (has links)
Limited research is available on teachers’ perspectives on addressing barriers to learning in learners in low to middle-income countries, such as South Africa. The main aim of the current research was to describe teachers’ perspectives on addressing barriers to learning in learners in an independent mainstream high school in Gauteng province. The study adopted a qualitative approach and data was collected by means of interviews, document analysis, and observations with 12 teachers in the school. The results of the study indicate that there are various challenges when addressing barriers to learning in learners. Furthermore, teachers respond to the diverse needs of learners by identifying the needs of learners and differentiating the curriculum. Lastly, teachers mentioned various forms of support that could help them effectively address the barriers to learning in learners in inclusive settings. Future countrywide research should focus on teachers’ perceptions when addressing barriers to learning in independent mainstream schools in South Africa. / Inclusive Education / M. Ed.
