Analýza přepravních toků v letecké dopravě / Air Traffic Flows Analysis

Šimíček, Martin January 2013 (has links)
ŠIMÍČEK, M. Air Traffic Flows Analysis. Brno: Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, 2013. 84 s. Supervisor Ing. Tomáš Kujal, Ph.D. The diploma thesis discusses the factors that affect routing and transport performance in the air transport. Besides the characteristics of these factors the main objective of this thesis is to quantitatively evaluate their level of dependence on the traffic performance of air transport. This is done by using the linear regression analysis. Based on this analysis, mathematical models of dependence of these factors on traffic performance are developed. The thesis also verifies the accuracy of these models and tries to find out which of them are usable and which are not. Their accuracy is mainly dependent on the selected track and on the type of airline.

Percepción de la calidad de servicio en vuelos nacionales en usuarios de edades de 18 a más años de edad que residen en Lima Metropolitana / Perception of the service quality on domestic flights in users aged 18 years and over who reside in Metropolitan Lima

Albornoz Nuñez, Vanessa Kelly, Barriga Junco, Julia Auristela 07 December 2020 (has links)
Decreasing customer loyalty and rising expectations have challenged companies to find unique methods to improve their quality of service. In the present investigation, we seek to identify and analyze the determining factors of the quality of service that influence the satisfaction of passengers on domestic flights residing in Metropolitan Lima. For this purpose, the AIRQUAL model, developed specifically for airlines, and the passenger satisfaction assessment were used. The model consists of 5 dimensions divided into 33 items graded with Likert scales (1 to 5). Some questions in the model were adapted so that they are relevant to the Lima user. 400 surveys were conducted online, of which 353 were valid and were used for the study in question. It was found that the image of the airline, as well as the empathy shown by it, play an important role in the satisfaction perceived by users. Likewise, it was found that the tangibles found at the airport were the dimension with the least relevance. / Tesis

Změny v letecké dopravě po deregulaci odvětví, specifický případ Německa / Changes Air Transport Industry after Deregulation, Specific Case of Germany

Frühauf, Pavel January 2011 (has links)
The theme of this thesis is the air transport and its dramatic and dynamic development in the last twenty years. The key driving force behind this change was the deregulation of air agreements and liberalization of international markets, which took place in the seventies in the USA and in the nineties in Europe. This work addresses specific and general effects of deregulation and the development of air transport industry and aims to identify and analyze changes of its structures in space and time. One of the major and direct impacts and consequences of deregulation is that the free market allowed the emergence of new low-cost airlines, which significantly changed the structure and trends of air transport. The changes allowed for greater mobility of people, goods and capital, and also caused a partial change in consumer behaviour of individuals and institutions, and even more interconnected global economy. The source of data and information are primarily articles in professional journals written in English. Knowledge from particular analysis and research approaches to air traffic from the first part of this work is confronted with empirical research. This was based on the statistical data of air traffic in Germany, for each airport from 1991 to 2010 and verified the theoretical concepts of the general...

Transition to NDC Standard Protocol in the business ecosystem of flight ticket distribution : A study to understand the current state of key actors’ transition from digital transformation maturity perspectives

Berg, Clara January 2024 (has links)
This study is about the transition to NDC standard protocol in the business ecosystem of flightticket distribution. The key actors included are airlines, travel agencies and content aggregators(system suppliers). The thesis analyses the current state of the transition to NDC done by thekey actors of the business ecosystem of flight ticket distribution with digital transformationmaturity perspectives, including dimensions, which are relevant for the transition. A conceptual framework has been created and includes six digital transformation maturityperspectives with attached dimensions that can impact the transition to NDC for the businessecosystem with the actors included in the scope of this thesis. The conceptual framework hasbeen created based on previous research on the topic of NDC and used as a foundation to createthe interview protocol and to structure and categorize the empirical results and analysis. The result of this thesis is a compilation of the answers to the interview protocol with tworespondents from two different airlines, three respondents from two different travel agenciesand two respondents from one content aggregator (system supplier). The result answers thequestion of how every organization is working with the different perspectives, and itsdimensions, of digital transformation maturity perspectives in their transition to NDC. Fromthe answers of the respondents, it has also been possible to identify central themes of the keyactors' work that was not originally part of the conceptual framework. The transition to NDC is an ongoing process and the different key actors are working with thedifferent perspectives, including the dimensions, in their transition to NDC. Based on theanswers from the respondent of this study, updates have been made to the conceptualframework to cover all the central themes of the key actors work with digital transformationmaturity perspectives and dimensions in their transition to NDC. The key actors are dependenton each other working with every perspective, and dimension, of the digital transformationmaturity perspectives and if the work with one perspective falls behind for one actor there areripple effects for the other key actors. The validation of a psychological assessment battery for the selection service agents in a South African commercial airline company

Davis, Ryan Jonathan 10 1900 (has links)
The purpose of the research was to determine whether measures of ability, personality and behaviour would significantly predict job performance of customer service agents in a South African commercial airline company. The Verbal Interpretation Test (VCC1), Numerical Reasoning Test (NP6.1), Basic Checking Test (CP7.1C), Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32) and a competency based interview were completed by job applicants. Customer Contact Competency (CCC) scores and a Person Job Match (PJM) score were derived from the OPQ32 and ability measures to ensure job relevance during selection assessment. Job performance statistics in the form of training scores and supervisor ratings (from performance appraisals and criterion questionnaires) were obtained for the sample as criterion data. Correlations revealed statistically significant small to moderate correlations between the predictors and the criterion data / Industrial & Organisational Psychology / M.Com (Industrial & Organisational Psychology)
