intelectuais brasileiros, informados pelas teorias racialistas européias, procuraram
escravo, branco e negro, homem e mulher, casa-grande e senzala, sobrado e mucambo.
Negro (TEN).
direitos.
__________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The Racial relations are essential category to the construction of the idea of
Brazilian national identity. Since the first debates on the subject, in the 19th century,
Brazilian intellectuals, informed by the European racialist theories, tried to reconcile the
nation construction with the huge mass of black slaves and Indians. All over the 20th
century this approach has guided the works produced by social sciences in Brazil.
During the first years of 21th century it has occupied an important place on the debates
about national identity. In this work we took two different moments of the debate about
racial relations in Brazil: first, Gilberto Freyre’s view, produced in the 1930’s, that
emphasizes the miscegenation as a particular feature of the society formed by the
Portuguese colonization, this miscegenation is determined by the balance of
antagonisms between the various poles of the social relations established in the
Brazilian patriarchal society: master and slave, white and black, man and woman,
“casa-grande e senzala”, “sobrado e mucambo”. Then, in the late 1940’s, taking
Guerreiro Ramos’ view and his approach about the black man beginning from the
militancy of this sociologist in the “Teatro Experimental do Negro” (TEN). This
militancy has a phase of regarding of racial relations using racial democracy and goes
toward the negritude affirmation, through niger sum, as a way of black population
getting free from Brazilian white man social pathology, the refuse of a population
mainly formed by black people. The theories defended by those two authors are being
used in the present debate about racial relations in which, once more, are discussed
ways of inclusion of non-white groups in Brazilian society while, by one view, they
point up the Brazilian mix-raced and cordial character and, by the other one, this
cordiality is denied and the limits of miscegenation in reference to equality of rights are
shown.

O duplo em Dead of NightFaria, Walterson de January 2013 (has links)
This work approaches the theme of the double in Dead of Night, as well as the double finds its resonance in other areas, such as literature. The study seeks to verify and identify how the theme of the double appears in the film. Besides the analysis of the film, will be addressed trajectory the director Alberto Cavalcanti, who started his career in French cinema, extending across England and Brazil. The film is the period in which the director worked in England and it was produced in 1945. The work begins with a brief history of the life of Alberto Cavalcanti and his career in the cinema. Then we did a search on the topic double, emphasizing three major authors: Clement Rosset, Otto Rank and Nicole Bravo. The analysis is based on an overview of the film followed by the analysis of five episodes that compose: The Hearse Driver, The Christmas Party, The Haunted Mirror, The Golfing Story and The Ventriloquist's Dummy. The conclusion points to possible readings of this film, that these possibilities are related to the double. / Submitted by Jovina Laurentino Raimundo (jovina.raimundo@unisul.br) on 2017-10-23T16:58:40Z

Hybridní režim a demokracie v Peru - režim Alberta Fujimoriho / The Hybrid Regime and the Democracy in Peru - the Regime of Alberto FujimoriVeselý, Jan January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis "The Hybrid Regime and the Democracy in Peru - the Regime of Alberto Fujimori." will be focused on the regime of Alberto Fujimori in Peru in the scope of theories of hybrid regimes, a theory of "neopopulism" and a theory of "autogolpe". The theoretical frame of the thesis is based on theories of hybrid regimes by Larry Diamond and Guillermo O'Donnell, further on a theory of "neopopulism" by Kurt Weyland and a theoretical analysis of the "autogolpe" by Maxwell A. Cameron. The thesis will be focused on the fact whether the examined regime corresponds to one type of hybrid regimes based on criteria of the theoretical framework and whether it is the case of "neopopulism". As factors that could affect the form of Fujimori's regime there will be analysed campaigns of guerrilla groups Shining Path and MRTA and the solution of the economic crisis. The aim of the diploma thesis is the analysis of Fujimori's government, thus the finding, whether it is possible to mark the regime as hybrid and which type specifically. The thesis will use the method of comparative analysis for comparison purposes to compare countries where was or may be realized "autogolpe". Then there will be used a case study to describe the events that preceded the election of president Fujimori and then the description...
