Esta pesquisa investiga práticas artísticas em alguns cursos livres de pintura da cidade de São Paulo. Gostos e idéias sobre arte muito heterogêneos surgem nestes espaços informais de ensino. Este trabalho se propõe a identificar essa diversidade e interpretar as concepções e funções de arte que presidem distintas formas de práticas artísticas vigentes não institucionalizadas na cidade de São Paulo. / This research analyses artistic practices in painting courses provided by organisations which are not linked to official educational bodies in São Paulo. Many different and heterogeneous tastes and ideas arise in these informal teaching spaces. The purpose of this research is to identify the diversity and interpret the concepts and functions of art used in the artistic practices in these less formal organisations.

An ethnographic research was conducted during one year in which the runners´ routine and their relationship among themselves and with the trainers were observed and described, as well as their clothes (the team´s uniform and the sneakers). Considering that there are beginner and initiate runners in the group, this research tried to identify if both kinds of runners share the same image or if beginner´s image is built by their companionship with initiate runners. The research also tried to identify the role that the main sneakers´ brands, Asics, Mizuno and Nike, play in the idealized runners´ image. Living together with these athletes during one year revealed that beginners and initiates do not share the same idealized image of being an amateur runner. Each of them create their own athlete´s fantasy . In other words, they use different symbols to be connected with running and with the runners´ team. In a sense, sneakers´ brands and runners´ teams are brands that have different meanings built up by the runners to create their athlete´s fantasies / Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo descrever e analisar a imagem que os corredores amadores participantes do grupo de corrida Run & Fun, em São Paulo, fazem de si: como eles se vêem e que valores os caracterizam e os unem. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa etnográfica durante um ano, em que se observou e descreveu a rotina dos corredores e seus relacionamentos entre si, com os treinadores e a vestimenta usada (o uniforme e o tênis). Considerando que existem corredores iniciantes e corredores experientes ou iniciados no grupo, a pesquisa buscou identificar se ambos compartilham uma mesma imagem ou se a imagem dos corredores iniciantes é construída ao longo do tempo, através da convivência com corredores iniciados. A pesquisa também buscou analisar o papel que as principais marcas de tênis, Asics, Mizuno e Nike, desempenham nesta imagem idealizada dos corredores. A convivência durante um ano com os atletas deste grupo mostrou que corredores iniciantes e iniciados não compartilham a mesma imagem idealizada do que é ser um corredor amador. Cada um deles constrói a sua própria fantasia de atleta , ou seja, se relaciona com a corrida e com o grupo de corrida através de diferentes simbologias. Discute-se no presente trabalho questões referentes ao processo de ensino e difusão da astronomia desenvolvida por clubes, grupos e associações de astrônomos amadores, bem como as implicações desse processo e o papel desses espaços nesse contexto educacional. É reconhecido que a astronomia possui rico potencial mobilizador, envolvendo as pessoas em diferentes atividades observacionais, de contemplação, redescobertas e questionamentos. Entretanto, especialmente na contemporânea cultura humana, percebe-se que o espaço acima de nossas cabeças tem sido muitas vezes ignorado. Dito isso, efetuamos estudo para analisar o quanto os referidos ambientes podem auxiliar para sanar, ao menos em parte, as deficiências identificadas e assim explorar o potencial que esse saber apresenta. Nosso estudo focou-se nas ações promovidas pelo Clube de Astronomia de São Paulo (CASP), Grupo de Astronomia Sputnik e pela Associação Norte Rio-grandense de Astronomia (ANRA). A discussão e análises dos dados obtidos foram desenvolvidas tomando como principal base uma perspectiva Freiriana de educação. Nessa perspectiva, dentre outras vertentes, os resultados apontam ser possível estimular e motivar o diálogo e enriquecer a curiosidade ingênua, tornando-a mais crítica, epistemológico, e avançar no rompimento com a Educação Bancária, bem como auxiliar na busca por uma formação permanente e educação continuada. Nesse trabalho, também foi possível explorar e compreender melhor os limites e demarcações entre as diferentes modalidades de ensino formal, não formal e informal. Espera-se com o presente estudo dar bons indícios para nortear passos que visam contribuir com alternativas para melhorar o ensino e a difusão da astronomia tão deficiente em nosso país e, acima de tudo, possibilitar que pessoas (re)descubram o universo ao seu redor. / The present work discusses questions related to the teaching and diffusion processes of astronomy developed by clubs, groups and amateur astronomers associations, as well as the implications of this process and role of such spaces in the educational context. It is recognized that astronomy has a rich mobilizing potential, involving people in different observational activities, contemplation, rediscoveries and questionings. However, especially in the contemporary human culture, it is noticed that the space above our heads has been ignored for several times. Considering this fact, we made a study aiming to analyze how the referred environments can represent a support to remedy, at least partially, the deficiencies that have been identified and thus, explore the potential offered by this knowledge. Our study focused the actions promoted by the Clube de Astronomia de São Paulo (CASP), Grupo de Astronomia Sputnik and Associação Norte Rio-grandense de Astronomia (ANRA). The discussion and analyses of the obtained data were developed taking as main base, a Freiriana educational perspective. Considering this perspective, among other approaches, the results point out that it is possible to stimulate and motivate the dialogue and to enrich the naive curiosity, making it more critic, epistemological and advance to a rupture with the Bancary Education, as well as to support the search for a permanent formation and continuous education. In that work, it was also possible to explore and establish a better understanding of limits and demarcations inside different modalities of formal, non-formal and informal teaching. We hope to give some good evidences with this study to orientate a path that aims to contribute with alternatives for a better teaching way and diffusion of astronomy, a deficient science in our country and above all, to make possible the (re)discover the universe that surrounds the people.
