Analýza handoveru v Mobile IPv6 / Mobile IPv6 handover analysisKlügl, Richard January 2010 (has links)
This master’s thesis is focused on IP mobility support for mobile users and their devices in IPv6-based wireless networks. Then the Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) protocol was proposed for this purpose and that is also the main objective of the thesis. This consists of several basic sections and is organized as follows: The first one deals with the overview of the function of Mobile IP, which enables the mobility of nodes around the Internet, without a change of their original IP address. Moreover there are introduced the primary differences between MIPv6 and its previous version – i.e., MIPv4, proposed for IPv4-based environment. The second chapter of the master’s thesis thereafter describes detailed information about all the most important mechanisms and features of Mobile IPv6 and this way tries to explain principles of its functioning. Further the thesis analyses some of proposed MIPv6 extensions – i.e., Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6), Mobile IPv6 Fast Handover (FMIPv6) a Fast Handover for HMIPv6 (F-HMIPv6) protocols, and mainly aim at signaling process during the handover of a mobile node. In the last main section of the master’s thesis an analytical method to evaluate the performance of IPv6-based mobility management protocols was proposed. Subsequently, this method is applied on the protocols which were mentioned above and are studied the effects of various network parameters on the performance of these protocols.

Analytická chemie odhaluje diverzitu a funkci chemických látek užívaných v komunikaci a obraně termitích společenstev / Analytical chemistry unravels the diversity and function of chemicals used for communication and defence in termite societiesKrasulová, Jana January 2015 (has links)
Analytical chemistry plays a crucial role in studies on chemical ecology and only the development of sophisticated methods enables the detection of biologically active compounds that are usually present in minute quantities and often in very complex mixtures. My thesis is dedicated to the application of modern analytical techniques and instrumentation to unravel the identity, chemical diversity and function of semiochemicals and defensive compounds used by various species of termites. The first section of this thesis aims at the identity of chemicals used in communication, the pheromones. I studied the chemistry of the trail-following communication in three selected species of termites. Besides the identification of (3Z,6Z,8E)-dodeca-3,6,8-trien-1-ol, the most frequent termite trail-following pheromone, as the trail-following pheromone in Psammotermes hybostoma (Rhinotermitidae), I participated in the description of two new structures, (10Z,13Z)-nonadeca-10,13-dien-2-one in Glossotermes oculatus (Serritermitidae) and syn-4,6-dimethylundecan-1-ol in Hodotermopsis sjoestedti (Archotermopsidae). We identified (3Z,6Z,8E)-dodeca-3,6,8-trien-1-ol to be the female sex pheromone in Psammotermes hybostoma, and syn-4,6-dimethylundecanal to be the male sex pheromone in Hodotermopsis sjoestedti. I also...

Urychlení výpočtů v životním pojištění / Acceleration of calculations in life insuranceKuzminskaya, Kseniya January 2018 (has links)
One of the major issue for life insurance companies is proper and consistent valuation of liabilities. This thesis introduces the standard estimation methods used in practice and discussed the alternative methods, which might help to speed up these calculations. It studies two possible methods of acceleration of calcu- lations in life insurance: analytic function and cluster analysis. The outcome of these work is comparison of discussed methods applied on generated life insur- ance portfolio. All methods were applied on two possible insurance products. Comparison of the results is based on the calculation precision and time needed to process the liabilities of the insurance company's portfolio. 1

Kriminální sítě: aktéři, mechanismy a struktury / Criminal networks: actors, mechanisms, and structuresDiviák, Tomáš January 2020 (has links)
Social network analysis is a fruitful approach to the study of relations and interaction between actors involved in organized crime. This dissertation utilizes network perspective to study several cases of organized criminal groups. It is divided into eight chapters. The first introductory chapter is followed by a chapter reviewing the most important network concepts, measures, and models, and their application in the study of organized crime. The four subsequent chapters are empirical studies. The third chapter is a case study of a political corruption network, known as the Rath affair. The study shows that the network consists of different, sometimes overlapping, relations (multiplexity), namely collaboration, resource transfer, and pre-existing ties. The network shows a clear core-periphery structure with politicians forming a dense core and businesspeople occupying periphery. The following chapter studies a case of counterfeit alcohol distribution network, known as the methanol affair. The network structure is composed of two subgroups bridged by one tie, permitting relatively efficient distribution of the beverages. Furthermore, statistical models point out the importance of triadic closure and pre-existing ties for the formation of ties in the network. The fifth chapter tests an influential theory in...

Od jazyku ke znaku: Tři vlny kognitivismu / From Language to Sign: Three Stages of CognitivismKadavá, Šárka January 2021 (has links)
This thesis outlines the three phases of cognitivism, which emerged in the first half of the 20th century as a reaction to the anti-mentalist tradition of philosophical thinking (represented by Charles S. Peirce and Charles Morris), and which was made possible in particular by the so- called linguistic turn in science (especially within analytic philosophy), which replaced mental units, regarded as non-scientific, with linguistic units, conceived as reflecting mental states and, moreover, allowing for adequate investigation. The thesis is largely guided by Thomas C. Daddesio's On Minds and Symbols, which is considered to be one of the first explicit attempts to formulate a cognitive-semiotic perspective, and wherein the author traces the previous development of the cognitive paradigm. Thus, first the factors that made the emergence of cognitivism possible are described, followed by an account of its development, which can be divided into two phases, as per Daddesio's model. This paper, however, goes beyond Daddesio's book and establishes a third phase, where cognitivism emerges as a separate field of inquiry within semiotics, i.e., cognitive semiotics. Within this development, the work traces in particular the transformation of the conception of the relationship between language and mind, which is...

Testování možností enkapsulace vybraných druhů makromolekul a bakterií / Possibilities of encapsulation of particular types of macromolecules and bacteriaKapar, Jiří January 2013 (has links)
Presented diploma thesis is focused on testing encapsulation methods of enzymes and probiotic bacteria. In the theoretical part a summary of different encapsulation techniques used in food industry is given. Further, materials for encapsulation, above all polysaccharides are presented. Next, some procedures of encapsulation of biopolymers and microorganisms – mainly enzymes and probiotic cultures are discussed. In the experimental part methods for preparation of several types of particles based on polysaccharides and liposomes are introduced. Particles were used for encapsulation of selected hydrolytic enzymes and probiotic strains Bifidobacterium breve a Lactobacillus acidophilus. The encapsulation effectiveness was evaluated by analysis of total proteins and enzyme activities. Particles sizes and their stability in water, in selected model foods and model body fluids were observed, too. According to results obtained in this work it was found that encapsulation of enzymes into polysaccharide particles were succesfull in all types of particles (encapsulation effectivness was more than 50 %). Polysaccharide particles showed a very good stability in body fluids as well as in model foods. As the most suitable materials for enzymes encapsulation chitosan and liposomes were found. Polysaccharide particles were used also for the encapsulation of microorganisms. The stability of particles with lactic acid bacteria was similar to particles containig enzymes, very good stability was verified aslo in model foods and model body fluids. Encapsulation enables long-term stabilization of biologically active compounds as well as posibility of their transport and controlled releasing in gastrointestinal tract. Encapsulation of probiotic bacteria could preserve their viability and long-term survival until the product expiration date. Thus, encapsulation is one of the most promissing procedures for production of foods and food suplements of great quality and high additional value.

Obrazová analýza v tribotechnické diagnostice / Image analysis in tribodiagnosticsMachalík, Stanislav January 2011 (has links)
Image analysis of wear particles is a suitable support tool for detail analysis of engine, gear, hydraulic and industrial oils. It allows to obtain information not only of basic parameters of abrasion particles but also data that would be very difficult to obtain using classical ways of evaluation. Based on the analysis of morphological or image characteristics of particles, the progress of wearing the machine parts out can be followed and, as a result, possible breakdown of the engine can be prevented or the optimum period for changing the oil can be determined. The aim of this paper is to explore the possibilities of using the image analysis combined with the method of analytical ferrography and suggest a tool for automated particle classification. Current methods of wear particle analysis are derived from the evaluation that does not offer an exact idea of processes that take place between the friction surfaces in the engine system. The work is based upon the method of analytical ferrography which allows to evaluate the state of the machine. The benefit of use of classifiers defined in this wirk is the possibility of automated evaluation of analytical ferrography outputs; the use of them eliminates the crucial disadvantage of ferrographical analysis which is its dependence on the subjective evaluation done by the expert who performs the analysis. Classifiers are defined as a result of using the methods of machine learning. Based on an extensive database of particles that was created in the first part of the work, the classifiers were trained as a result, they make the evaluation of ferrographically separated abrasion particles from oils taken from lubricated systems possible. In the next stage, experiments were carried out and optimum classifier settings were determined based on the results of the experiments.
