Chirální rozeznávání pomocí hmotnostní spektrometrie / Chiral recognition by mass spectrometry

Kosíková, Lenka January 2012 (has links)
Title: Chiral recognition by mass spectrometry Author: Bc. Lenka Kosíková Department: Department of Organic Chemistry Supervisor: doc. Mgr. Jana Roithová, Ph.D. This work is focused on the use of mass spectrometry as the analytical method for chiral recognition in the gas phase. We have examined formation of complexes (S and R) isomers [dimethyl-2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'binaphthalene-3,3'-dicarboxylate] with sodium. Chiral effect for the fomation of sodium dimers is 1,34±0,06 and that for formation of trimers 2,38±0,22 in favor of the formation of homochiral complexes. Part of the work is devoted to the preparation of isotopically labeled ester [(R)-(−)- di(D3-methyl)-2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'binaphthalene-3,3'-dicarboxylate]. Mixing of equimolar amounts of D3-(R) and unlabeled (S) isomers leads to the artificial racemate, while we can still distinguish the enantiomers using mass spectrometry. Another part represents the study of the complex formation between (S and R) isomers of [dimethyl-2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'binaphthalene-3,3'-dicarboxylate] with the metal complex [(S,S)-1,5-diaza-cis-decalin]Cu(OH)I depending on the molar ratios in the solution. I have showed that the molar concetration of the catalyst in the solution plays an important role in the complex formation and that the ESI source spectra of...

Analýza senzoricky a toxikologicky významných látek v pivu / Analysis of sensory and toxicologically important compounds in beer

Vrzal, Tomáš January 2019 (has links)
One of the most relevant group of toxicologically significant compounds in beer are N-nitrosamines. In this thesis, the attention was paid especially on non-volatile nitroso compounds whose concentrations in beer, a chemical structure, and a biological effect has not been known yet. For the reason of the lack of knowledge regarding this compound group, the method for their sensitive detection by chemiluminescence detection after gas chromatographic separation was developed. This method permits a classification of detected nitroso compounds to different groups (N-nitroso, C-nitroso, and combination of C-nitroso and nitro) and distinguish them from interferences. The method is based on recording of a pyrolytic profile of each chromatographic peak, the profiles are then processed by discriminant analysis. The method has been developed for finding and structural identification purposes of these unknown compounds. Its application on an artificially nitrosated beer sample, together with gas chromatographic tandem mass spectrometric analysis, led to structural identification of several representatives of nitroso compounds. Sensory active compounds in this thesis are represented by carbonyl compounds and fatty acids. Carbonyl compounds - furfural and hydroxymethylfurfural - were used during the development...

Expertní kapacity vybraných politických stran v České republice v oblasti migrační politiky / The expert capacities of selected czech political parties in the field of the migration policy

Balšánek, Aleš January 2018 (has links)
in english language: The diploma thesis is focused on expert capacities of selected political parties in the Czech republic in the field of the migration policy in context of election programs for the House of Commons election in the Czech republic in 2017. Migration policy has never been so discussed theme. But it was changed with coming of "migration crisis" and today is the access to the migration policy and the migration crisis in election programs monitored by media and electores very much. I want to focus on the expert background of the selected czech political parties, especially on partie's comissions and sections a their expert capacities. They are specializing in migration policy and migration crisis and provided opinions and backgrounds for the parties for election program. The research is focused on these parties: SPD, KSČM, Strana zelených. I am going to compare analytical capacities of these parties. I want to find out the functioning of the commissions and the type of experts. The way how the members of the commissions have become members is researched too. Next important thing for my research is the transmisson between expert commissions and election program for elections in 2017, and especially in the parts of program devoted to migration policy and migration crisis. I will not...

Význam integrace stínových projekcí v učení C. G. Junga pro teologickou etiku mezilidského vztahu / The integration of shadow projections in the teaching of C.G. Jung and its possible benefits for theological ethics of interpersonal relationships

Otáhal, Tomáš January 2019 (has links)
In the first part, this thesis is examining the psychology of C. G. Jung, especially those parts, which are somehow connected to interpersonal relationships. That means foremostly the psychological projections and mechanisms, which are causing those projections. By those mechanisms, I mean the dynamics of consciousness - unconsciousness, the shadow and the cognitive functions. Besides those concepts and mechanisms, the thesis aims to explore the way which Jung ascribes to deal with those shadow projections - in favor of improving the interpersonal relationships. This deed lays mainly in the so-called individuation, with main focus on the shadow integration. The aim of the second part of this thesis is to reflect upon the C. G. Jung's psychology from the theological ethics point of view. The thesis is defining the criteria of goodness of the interpersonal relationship from the theological ethics standpoint. Then further uses those criteria to clarify the conditions under which could be maintained the dialogue and cooperation between theology and psychology and thus, under which conditions is theologically acceptable to utilize C. G. Jung's findings.

Bezpečnost dopravního letounu při poškození draku teroristickým útokem / Safety of a Commercial Aircraft after Damage to Airframe due to Terrorist Attack

Lošťák, Miroslav January 2012 (has links)
Modern-day terrorist attacks present a considerable danger for commercial aircrafts. This thesis analyzes potential methods of such attacks with a critical analysis of the most dangerous type: an attack from the outside of the aircraft via a fragmentation missile warhead. Such missiles cause damage to the airframe of the aircraft through fragments created by the explosion. In this thesis, analytical geometry is used to determine the area of the aircraft affected by the fragmentation. The aircraft’s geometry and the fragments’ dispersion are calculated by analytical functions, and the effect of the damage is analyzed. A shooting experiment was also carried out, in which fragments were shot at a reinforced skin panel that was manufactured according to the real design of commercial aircraft. The results of the experiment revealed that only directly hit sections of the structure are damaged. Data obtained by the experiment was then used for the creation and improvement of the model used in the simulation by means of the finite element method. This model is used for the numerical calculation of the damage sustained. Further included in the thesis is an analysis of the change in the load-bearing capacity after such an attack. The relationship between the size of the damage and its effect on the load-bearing capacity of the component as well as the entire structure is defined. First, the effect of component damage is analyzed via the FMEA/FMECA methods. This analysis is then extended using fuzzy logic. Fuzzy logic analysis is based on the determination of the size of the damaged component area and the component’s importance on the structure’s carry loads. Application of the defined approach is described for several parts of an aircraft’s life cycle, including development, operation after the terrorist attack, and assessment of causes after a crash caused by a fragmentation missile warhead.

Modelování vtokových vírů / Intake vortex modeling

Galuška, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
This paper covers information research of basic design rules of industrial wet sumps. It describes mathematical models of vortices and method for their identification and visualization. Then the author focuses on CFD modeling of surface vortices with single phase and multiphase approach with Volume of Fluid method. Basic principles of multiphase CFD modelling in OpenFOAM and ANSYS Fluent are given. Description and benchmarking of suitable turbulence models is also present. The single phase and multiphase approach were successfully validated for a simple test case of bathtub surface vortex. Satisfactory agreement with experimental data was achieved. The accuracy and behavior of both solvers were compared between each other. This gives us useful tool for evaluation of inflow condition and danger of surface vortex occurrence in wet sumps. The acquired knowledges were used to design an experimental test case with geometry similar to industrial wet sump. A map of surface vortex occurrence has been created for different operating points. One of the operating point has been used for numerical simulation (both single phase and multiphase). Partial agreement with experimental observation has been achieved.

Studie chování železobetonových sloupů zesílených ovinutím FRP tkaninou / Behaviour of reinforced concrete columns confined with FRP wrap

Niesner, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
Strengthening of reinforced columns confining by modern composite materials is effective method, allows quickly realized strengthening, without increase dimension of strengthening columns. Just like using reinforcing bars, is the mainly assumption for this method the multi-axis state tension and deducing confining pressure, which will increase strength of concrete. Improved of properties of confining concrete can be determined by using relationships, but there are considerably differences. This diploma theses, dealing with strengthening of circular reinforced columns confinement by external FRP fabric, compared approaches to design of reinforced concrete by confining and using the results of an analytical and numerical study to describe problem of confining concrete and compare factors influencing the final properties of the wrapped concrete.
