Řízení projektů agilního vývoje softwaru na základě PRINCE2 a Scrum / Management of agile software development projects based on PRINCE2 and Scrum

Tománek, Martin January 2010 (has links)
Software development projects often fail. Recently the agile software development frameworks have been massively adopted and used to overcome the root causes of the project failure. The use of the agile frameworks results in the more successful delivery of smaller software development projects. Companies however implemented in the past many generic project management frameworks and still use them to manage the full portfolio of their projects especially the medium and large software development projects. In such cases the agile development teams are organized in projects that are managed by project managers according to these generic project management frameworks. Both these frameworks must be analysed and tailored carefully to be successfully applied together. The objective of this dissertation thesis is to design the agile software development project management framework based on PRINCE2 and Scrum frameworks. The benefits of this new framework are the enrichment of the simple agile framework Scrum by project management elements and the enrichment of the generic project management framework PRINCE2 by the agile principles and agile team management practices. The first part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of project management and agile development frameworks. The main focus is on the current usage, the measurement of the project success and the identification of problems that the projects face to. Prior to the design of the new framework the research was executed in the global company to discover the specific problems in software development projects and to measure the actual project success rate. The framework is then designed in the next part. The framework was successfully implemented in the same global company and the project success rate was again analysed. The result is positive and the implementation of this framework resulted in the improved project success rate. Also two additional case studies were conducted to check the viability of the designed framework.

Využitie softvérových aplikácií v oblasti projektového manažmentu v prostredí nadnárodných korporácií / Usage of software applications in the field of project management in transnational corporations.

Osúch, Marek January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with software applications used in project management in transnational companies. The goal of the thesis is to analyse these software applications and to apply gained knowledge via case study in which a certain company will be examined. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains theoretical basis of the examined field. It deals with project management and applications used in this field. The practical part (the case study) includes the characteristics of the company examined, the development process and methodology of in-depth interview, analysis of the current state of the way project management applications are being used within the company, solution proposal, and solution implementation.

Použití metodiky SCRUM v inovačním procesu firmy / SCRUM methodology and its uses in the innovation process of the company

Krbušek, Adam January 2015 (has links)
Diploma thesis deals with SCRUM methodology and its uses in innovation management. The main objective of the thesis is creation of a specific framework which will enable to use SCRUM methodology in the innovation process. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part presents theoretical framework important for the main research. This part contains literature review and research dedicated to the SCRUM methodology and innovation process. The second part of the thesis deals with mapping of the SCRUM methodology to Hladik's innovation process. This part also contains own design of the innovation management process. The third part of the thesis is dedicated to the case study. The case study uses described innovation management process for verification of the hypothesis saying that is possible to use SCRUM methodology in the innovation process. The author's contribution lies in creation of a framework which provides agile alternative to the classical innovation management models.

Analýza projektu implementace penzijní reformy / Analysis of the Pension Reform Project Implementation

Kupka, Jaromír January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is devoted to the theme of a new information system of the pension company. The first part is the input into the subject. It defines the scope of the thesis and defines the objectives that the author wants to achieve in the thesis. The second part is focused on the analysis of project methodologies and selection of an appropriate methodology for this type of project. The third part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of agile methodologies and selection of the appropriate methodology for a particular project. The fourth part is devoted to the analysis of Scrum methodology. Conclusions of this part are the arguments for deploying agile approach for a specific project. In the fifth part of the thesis the author returns to mistakes at the level of project management, which negatively affected the time plan and financial plan of the project. The final part summarizes the results of analyzes, summarizes the objectives and identifies the expected benefits of the thesis.

Dynamika metodiky agilního projektového řízení Scrumban / Dynamics of agile project management methodology Scrumban

Grohoľ, Robert January 2013 (has links)
This thesis researches dynamics in projects managed by Scrumban. It describes the creation of system dynamics simulation model, which provides insight into the relationships between system components. It also presents data, that are further analysed with the purpose of discovering patterns in behaviour of project attributes in time, such as size of the product backlog, work in progress etc. The patterns are discovered and recommended parameter settings are provided so that there is no idle time or higher defect rate than necessary. Soft factors are also included in the model, namely the development team and the customer, which have a grand effect to the model behaviour. Managment flight simulator is developed, which provides the option to experiment even to users, who are not familiar with system dynamics modelling. The thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, necessary theory of project management, system dynamics and their fusion is provided. The second part is dedicated to the process of creating the simulation model, dynamic hypothesis formulation, mathematical modelling, testing and data analysis. In consideration of the analysis results, recommended policies are provided. Last pages of the thesis describe the user interface of management flight simulator and it's controls.

Artifact-Supported Performance Management of Collaborative Care Teams

Lakhani, Rubina 10 August 2021 (has links)
This research proposes a framework for collaborative care in which the performance of healthcare teams is measured in an objective and quantifiable manner. We call our framework the Performance Management Framework for Collaborative Care (PMFCC). The PMFCC was developed using insights from agile software engineering, business, and healthcare and consists of three Components: the Collaboration Space Ontology Template, the Agile Process Model, and the Performance Management Model. We developed a set of example Artifacts based on our framework to better support performance management of collaborative care teams: Agile Treatment Plan, Agile Collaborative Dashboard, ICF Patient Card and Collaborative Care Model Canvas. The framework and associated Artifacts were developed iteratively using Design Science Research Methodology. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder was used as an example relevant to performance management of collaborative care teams. A Clinical Vignette drawn from the healthcare literature was used to develop a set of scenarios to test and evaluate the PMFCC and its Artifacts at each iteration. A panel of experts was established at the end of our research to review our results and provide structured and unstructured feedback based on a set of evaluation criteria drawn from the relevant academic literature. The PMFCC was also compared to related works from the literature.
