Ztracené děti Evropy: Evropská unie a nedoprovázené děti migrantů / Lost Children of Europe: European Union and Unaccompanied Migrant Children

Abuselidze, Salome January 2021 (has links)
The issue of unaccompanied migrant children (UAM) in the European Union is one of the most acknowledged and one of the most under researched topics. Close to 100,000 minors arrived in Europe in 2015 alone, without parents or guardians. And more than 10,000 disappeared shortly after. These children have been and continue to be under high risk of human trafficking, child labour, sexual and physical abuse, and exploitation of some other kinds. It has been 6 years since the initial crisis, but the statistics are not getting better. Tendency remains as close to 19,000 UAMs have perished in the past 3 years, which accounts to 17 disappearances a day. Despite the European Union's commitment to protect the rights of UAMs, the conditions of these children are dire. In some member states the situation is so much poorer, that basic human rights are violated. This raises the following questions: Q1: Why does the EU struggle to adopt common policies on unaccompanied migrant children? Q2: How does the EU contribute to the disappearance of UAMs? Qualitative and quantitative data, as well as large amount of primary and secondary sources help navigate through the problem of UAMs. Content analysis of European media contributes to the illustration of perceptions towards migration and unaccompanied children. Srovnání obsahu anthokyanových barviv ve vybraných odrůdách bezu černého a vinných hroznů / Comparison of content anthocyanin pigments in selected cultivars of black elderberry and grape

Becková, Eliška January 2012 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to compare the contents anthocyans in different varieties of European elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.). It was also studied the relationship between the content anthocyans in selected samples of blue grape varieties (Vitis vinifera L.) and position of the track, where the grapes were grown. The theoretical part describes elderberries and grapes in terms of botanical, chemical, and in terms of their using in the food industry. The dominant part of this chapter is to describe anthocyans and possibilities for their determination in the elderberry and grapes. Emphasis has been placed on the pH-differential method and determination by high performance liquid chromatography. The experiments are divided into two parts. The aim of the first experimental part is comparison of the total anthocyanins content in fifteen varieties of elderberry. The performed analysis shows that in terms of anthocyanins content for cultivation of elderberry in the Czech Republic the most suitable varieties are Mammut, Samyl, Reis aus Vossloch and Haschberg. In the second part of the experiments were determined total anthocyanins content in nine varieties of blue grape grown in the Mikulov region. For determination were used HPLC and pH-differential methods, as well as in the first part. The highest content of pigments was found in varieties Alibernet and Neronet. The present study focused on the suitability of the location pointed to vineyard south to southeast orientation plantings. At the end of the experimental part is a comparison of both methods of determination. Method using high performance liquid chromatography to provide very accurate results compared to less demanding pH-differential method of determination. This is recommended only for tentative determination of anthocyanins content in real samples.

Vliv přídavku vícesměrně orientované výztuže na mechanické vlastnosti materiálu pro přípravu celkově snímatelných náhrad / Effect of adding multidirectional oriented fibers on mechanical properties of denture base resin

Kolářová, Eva January 2014 (has links)

Zhodnocení fyzikálních a chemických parametrů plodů dosud méně využívaných druhů drobného ovoce a návrh nového nealkoholického nápoje z tohoto ovoce / Evaluation of Physical and Chemical Parameters of Still Less Exploited Species of Small Fruit and Proposal of a New Soft Drink from this Fruit

Cetkovská, Jitka January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with still less expolited species of small fruit, evaluation of its physical and chemical parameters and proposal of a new soft drink from one of the studied species of furit. Firstly, for the characterisation of basic nutrition parameters (dry matter, content of organic acids and saccharides) and biologicaly active substances (vitamin C, anthocyanins and phenolic compounds) suitable titration, spectrophotometric, chromatographic and electrophoretic methods were chosen, optimized and validated. The sample preparation procedure was optimized as well. For three years (2010–2012) the content of listed parameters was monitored in some cultivars of five species of small fruit: in seven cultivars of sea buckthorn, in ten cultivars of cornelian cherry, in twelve cultivars of rowanberry, in two cultivars of chokeberry and in seventeen cultivars of elderberry. By means of Duncan’s test, analysis of principal components (PCA) and cluster analysis (CLU) the main differences between studied cultivars were observed mainly in sea buckthorn and rowanberry, where single cultivars were easily distinguishable from others on the basis of genetic origin. On the basis of comparison of determined parameters in studied species of fruit and with collaboration with fruit processing company the suitable species of fruit for commercial utilization was chosen – elderberry, as a important source of anthocyanins and phenolic compounds. A new soft drink as a proposal of utilization of this fruit was created – fruit juice or nectar with portion of elderberry juice. Mixed juices and nectars with various composition were prepared from elderberry and grape juice and the sensory analysis of these drinks was performed. The best evaluated were 100% fruit juices prepared with 30–50% portion of elderberry juice. The composition was jurally protected. On the basis of this protection the product consisted from 100% fruit juice with 10% of elderberry component mixed with apple and grape juice was introduced to the market by the fruit processing company.

Zimová, Marie January 2018 (has links)
(in English) The following master dissertation deals with the issue of integration of homeless people to the labour market. People who live on the streets gradually lose their working habits, social contacts and motivation to change their situation. The main objective of this dissertation is to map the homeless people's chances of integration to the labour market and the way to try to bring them back to the ordinary life. Their possible integration depends on many aspects, therefore this dissertation considers a huge amount of motivation of the subjects asked and obstacles, which interfere in finding a job. First part of the dissertation is made of a theory with an emphasis on a high rate of desocialization of homeless people and the possible difficulties within searching for a job. It also focuses on considerable types of help and support whilst finding an employment for those people. That should come from different subjects - the government side and so from private organizations. The theoretical part is ending with a chapter describing four private organizations which focus on helping people, such as trying to find them a job. The collection of all data comes from a qualitative research, in form of sixteen structured interviews (four in each organization) with people currently living on the...
