This diploma thesis focuses on innovation policy of Germany, its development and characteristics. It briefly describes the state role in the area of innovation policy and authorities involved in there. This thesis deals with technological specialization in German innovation system and position of German research system in international comparison. It also analyzes the impact of innovation policy on balance of trade.

The thesis examines the impact of the global economic crisis on the economy of Ireland and Greece. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of the financial crisis and the balance of payments crisis on the economy of these countries. This thesis deals with the situation of the economies in the pre-crisis period, which examines the causes of the crisis. The post-crisis period compares the impact of the global economic crisis from a macroeconomic perspective. The thesis deals with the economic measures taken as Ireland and Greece, which should mitigate the effects of the crisis. The thesis focuses in detail on the balance of payments crisis. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to the description of the kind of crisis, with a focus on banking crisis, debt crisis, financial crisis and a detailed analysis of the balance of payments crisis. The second part compares the impact of the crisis on the economy of Ireland and Greece in the context of the development of the main macroeconomic indicators

The purpose of the thesis is to draw up a model of the energy and material balance using technical and technological analysis of the current state of production of waste heat in the process of distillation. Using these results, subsequently evaluate the energy potential of individual streams and propose optimal energy savings using waste heat. Emphasis is placed on the modelling of the process and the various proposed savings options. The result is also an evaluation of the potential of the proposed savings based on the results of the calculation.

The thesis aims to identify suitable and in the locality available raw materials to a commnon fermentation with sludge from pulp and fodder yeast production in company Biocel Paskov a.s.. Introductory chapter briefly describes the mechanisms of penetration of the sludge itself. The following section deals with origin, chemical composition and properties of biogas. The factors affecting the production of biogas are described. A key part of this thesis is a performance of sludge fermentation test and selected mixed substrate. Acquired knowledge is evaluated and the optimum composition of input raw materials with regard to maximum, but also economic recovery of biogas selected. Further, on the basis of obtained data a rough draft of biogas station is done, icluding its energeic and economic balance.

This diploma thesis is solving a problem of energy intensity evaluation of professional laundry process. It presents computational model of tumble dryer and calender. There are described factors in calender model, which influence energy intensity of drying process. Verification of the model has been done according to measured data from real professional laundry premise.

This master thesis continues the master thesis Výroba vodíku z biomasy. In that work were performed first experiments of hydrogen production from beer less by dark fermentation. Further experiments will continue based on previous experiments. For the energy balance were used results from [1] and data obtained from literature searches, because the results of the experiments were not entirely satisfactory. Energy balance was calculated for a laboratory fermenter to evaluate the efficiency of energy obtainable from the hydrogen produced by fermentation in a dark laboratory conditions. It was compared the yield given in [1] and yield derived from a literature review. The conclusion presents recommendations for further research.

This work deals with methods of biogas cleaning to natural gas quality for further use. The introduction is focused on technologies for biogas treatment and biogas management for current situation in the Czech Republic. In the main chapter there is a water scrubber technology design and calculation of the absorption column for the conditions given. A simulation model and preliminary economic balance were then developed on the obtained data.

The aim of thesis is the energy evaluation of building for public facilities - kindergarten. From the beginning work deals with the analysis of a given topic, standard and legal regulations associated with the topic. This knowledge is further applied to a specific building. It follows by evaluation of the current state of the building, its systems, internal environment and analysis of measures leading to energy savings and ensuring the quality of the indoor environment of building. Work also deals with experimental measurements of selected parameters of the internal environment.

CARBON AND NITROGEN POOLS AND FLUXES OF TWO FOREST ECOSYSTEMS IN THE ORE MOUNTAINS With increasing atmospheric CO2 concentrations, forest ecosystems are considered for their sequestration ability. However, there are differences between coniferous and deciduous tree species in their impact on the carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) fluxes within forest ecosystems, which influence soil carbon and nitrogen pools. In natural beech and monoculture spruce stands on research sites of Czech Geological Survey in the Ore Mountains, C and N fluxes and pools were investigated. There were investigated ecosystem inputs (C, N, in throughfall, litterfall) as well as outputs (soil respiration, concentrations of C, N in seepage water discharge). Further, C and N pools of living biomass and soils were determined. Throughfall DOC was significantly higher in the spruce stand, on the other hand litterfall C flux showed the opposite relationship. At output, DOC, DON and NH4 + discharge fluxes from O horizon were significantly higher in the spruce stand whereas in the beech stand higher NO3 - flux from mineral soil was recorded. Fishpond ecosystems provide many other services besides fish production. One of them is the retention of nutrients and thus ability to change the quality of the through flowing water, thereby ability to influence the overall quality of surface waters. In the case of the fishpond Svět in Třeboň it is also recreation, as the pond is an integral part of the tourism of the town. Water quality in the fishpond and its retention capacity of phosphorus is connected with the fish management and the inflow of nutrients from the catchment basis, especially within a cascade of ponds and densely populated or agricultural regions. This thesis evaluates seasonal (2013, 2015) and long term (2007-2015) trend of water quality of pond Svět in Třeboň in relation to fish management. Furthermore, mass balance was calculated for 2015 and estimated for 2013. The years 2015 and 2013 (the first years of production cycle) varied considerably in amount of annual rainfall. The year 2015 was extremely dry and 2013 very aqueous. Different hydrological conditions caused different seasonal courses in hydrochemistry parameters and its concentrations.
