The diploma thesis is focused on Finnish international trade and its importance for the national economy. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is done using the method of literature research and contains relevant information about the international trade. It is focused on foreign market entry modes, delivery and payment terms, the importance of international trade in the national economy and economic sanctions using in international trade. The practical part first describes the Finnish economy using the key economic indicators and then analyses the Finnish international trade. The analysis is mainly focused on the international trade with goods and contains chapters about development indicators, commodity and territorial structure, major export-oriented companies and government export support services. The thesis also analyses international trade between Czech Republic and Finland and the impact of Russian economic sanctions on Finnish exporters. In the final part, the results are summarized and evaluated and there are proposals to increase Finnish exports and strategies and recommendations for Czech exporters when trading with Finland.

The theoretical part of the dissertation is dedicated to the balance of the payments as well as to the theory of the direct foreign investments with the linkage to new methodology of the balance of the payments. The determinants of the direct foreign investments are consequently introduced in the economic theory. The attention is to the higher extent dedicated to the industrial and territorial break-down. The incentive system and the Agency for the support of incoming direct foreign investments (CzechInvest) are described and introduced in the connection with the system functioning in Czech Republic. The incoming direct foreign investments in the period from 2004 to 2014 are analyzed in the second part of the dissertation. The time series were set up on the basis of the annual reports and the databases of Czech National Bank; the evolution phases of direct foreign payments is consequently analyzed with the regard to the respective industries and territories. The development of the direct foreign investments and their impacts on Czech Republic is assessed in the conclusion of the dissertation. It is concluded that the development of the incoming direct foreign investments is in a close correlation with the economic situation in Czech Republic and neighboring countries. The dissertation confirms that the economic and also non-economic factors of each country are key determinants for the final level of the incoming direct foreign investments.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the economic importance of energy in the country. Along with this theme are reviewed macroeconomic indicators, which are compared with some of the attributes of the energy sector, so that they can assess their significance and coherence. Impact on GDP is reviewed in terms of electricity production, and also by means of the export of electricity. Impact of energy on the unemployment rate is evaluated from the perspective of people employed in the field of energy. The overall trade balance is evaluated in terms of import and export of electricity and natural gas. Finally, assessment of inflation through the development of prices of both commodities in the wholesale market. To evaluate these indicators are used statistical methods such as regression and correlation analysis. In conclusion, the thesis explains predetermined hypothesis and comprehensive assessment of the actual importance.

This diploma thesis deals with the effects of economic crisis in Ukraine on economic cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union. The first part of the thesis discusses the theoretical aspects of the concept and the dimension of the politic and economic crisises. The analytical part includes a statistical analysis of trade relations between Ukraine and the EU, along with graphical and tabular presentation of results. In the last part of the thesis the author proposes specific recommendations, which should lead to overcoming of crisis and to approaching of Ukraine closer to European standards.

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of energy balance. Principles of its regulation and factors that affect it through energy intake or energy output are described in the thesis. It also describes methods of measuring and calculating energy output for proper adjustment of energy needs and achieving energy balance. In addition, the thesis presents energy needs in in specific life stages and pathological conditions that may occur during prolonged disruption of the energy balance. Both physiological and pharmacological factors which may impact energy metabolism are mentioned. The main objective of the practical part was to analyze freely available articles on the Internet providing different ways of weight reduction. The articles were subjected to a critical assessment from the point of view of a nutritional therapist and compared with expert studies. The secondary objective was to evaluate the questionnaire which also dealt with weight reduction. The individual responses were focused on the respondents' personal experience with weight loss. The results showed that up to 90 % of respondents attempted to reduce weight and that freely available articles, which do not always provide relevant information, were often used for this purpose. Chosen agricultural enterprise Agricultural Cooperative Slapy u Tábora farms in the South Bohemia Region near the Tábor city. Analysis of inner structure of this farm was worked out for the period 1996 {--} 2006. Harvest area and yield of individual crops, mineral fertilizer consumption and cattle stock have been used for the analysis. On the basis of performed analysis, variants of inner structure have been calculated, aimed on production of bioenergy: cereals for bioethanol production, raps for biodiesel production, biogas. From aspect of energetic gain, the variant for bioethanol production was evaluated as optimal.

Chosen agricultural enterprise Agricultural-Trading Cooperative Farm operates 20 km away from České Budějovice in South Bohemia Region. Analysis of inner structure of this farm was performed for period 1997 {--} 2006. To project inner structure of the agricultural system, it is necessary to know the harvest area and yield of individual crops, cattle stock, and mineral fertilizer consumption. On the basis of performed analysis, using carbon-balance method, projects of inner structure specialized in bioenergy production were calculated. The production of bioethanol from cereals, oil from rape and biogas from cattle breeding refuse are taken into account. At comparison of individual variants from aspect of energetic gain under existing natural conditions, the variant specialized in cereals for ethanol production proves as the most suitable.

Práce analyzuje vývoj stavu a struktury zahraničního zadlužení u nových členů EU a vyspělých států západní Evropy. Zadlužení analyzuje ve vztahu k vývoji struktury běžného účtu platební bilance. Jednotlivé země srovnává na základě několika nejdůležitějších ukazatelů zkoumajících solventnost a likviditu. Data srovnává s ekonomikami jižní Asie a Jižní Ameriky. V teoretické části práce definuje zahraniční zadlužení, jeho vazbu na výkazy vnější pozice země a jeho možné příčiny a důsledky.
