Odkaz Wilhema Reicha a jeho reflexe v díle zakladatelů bioenergetiky, biosyntézy a biodynamické psychologie / The legacy of Wilhelm Reich and its reflexion in the work of the founders of Bioenergetics, Biosynthesis and Biodynamic PsychologyVaněčková, Marta January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis The legacy of Wilhelm Reich and its reflexion in the work of the founders of Bioenergetics, Biosynthesis and Biodynamic psychology is devoted to a comparison of the most important theoretical concepts and therapeutic techniques of Wilhelm Reich with the methods of the founders of selected psychotherapeutic approaches that draw from his work. These are the founder of Bioenergetics Alexander Lowen, founder of the Biosynthesis David Boadella and founder of Biodynamic Psychology Gerda Boyesen. These authors created distinct therapeutic approaches based on Reich's concepts that significantly shaped the field of the Body- Psychotherapy. The first part explains the technique of Character-Analysis and Vegetotherapy, the Orgasm Theory (the role of sexuality in the etiology of neurosis), a typology of Character structures, the Orgonomic Research and principles of the Orgonomic Functionalism, which Reich defined and used in practice. There is briefly introduced the history of the development within the Neoreichian movement (Reich pupils and followers) in the second half of the 20th century. The vast majority of the second part of the thesis is devoted to reflection on Reich's work in the selected body-psychotherapeutic schools and the way they work with his legacy. The Bioenergetics is...

Previous issue date: 2007-05-17 / This research is the Master dissertation result in Clinic Psychology at PUC SP;
Hospital Psychology and Psychosomatic Nucleus. The research aimed at
investigating which variables unleash stress in body psychotherapists group and
checking stress symptoms prevalence its frequency and intensity. The individuals
taking part in the sample were 20 body psychotherapists 10 male and 10 female
working in private clinic in the city of São Paulo and being in area for over 10
years. Supported by the literature revision, the tool application started: Sociodemographic
Questionnaire, the LSS/VAS- Stress Symptoms List for the target
people. The Symptoms List was submitted to statistics evaluation while the Semi-
Guided Interview: The stress in Body Psychotherapist was especially
elaborated for this research. A number equivalent to 90% of the body
psychotherapists considered the activity to be a bit stressful at all; however in the
questionnaire: Stress Symptoms List (LSS/VAS) where the stress stage: that
goes LIGHT/ALARMING/ DANGER/ EXTREME DANGER/EXHAUSTION, 65%
are in the DANGER stage. Considering the frequency and intensity they are the
symptoms which interfere in a way or the other in their well-being. Still, double
symptoms happened in the same ranking locus (LR).
The 5 most representative symptoms: 1° I feel angry ; 2° I have thoughts that
make me anxious ( a ) ; 3° I feel anguished, 4° I get emotionally worn-out;
5° I get discouragement.
The 5 least representative: 50° I bite my nails ; 49° I get hoarse (a);
48° I lose appetite ;47°I feel like fainting ; 46° I get in a cold sweat.
This way, further studies in this area and preventive measures to control and
diminish stressful factors in order to understand stress in the body
A pesquisa
avaliação estatística e a Entrevista Semi-Dirigida: O stress no psicoterapeuta
1° Sinto raiva; 2°.Tenho pensamentos que me deixam ansioso(a) ;
3°Sinto angústia ;4° Fico esgotado(a)emocionalmente;5° Tenho desânimo.
Os 5 menos representativos: 50° Rôo unhas; 49° Fico afônico(a);48° Sinto falta

Previous issue date: 2012-09-28 / This study aims at analyzing the impact of stress in health multiprofessionals residents life
in an university hospital in Goiânia. Ten female residents, from the second year (R2), were
evaluated, individually and in a previously organized place, by Goldberg General Health
Questionnaire - QSG, from ISSL of Lipp and an Ebel Stress Physiologic Reaction
Inventory (validated for Brazil), during the second semester of 2011. It was verified that
the physiologic reactions to stress were in a high level (N=4), followed by a moderate level
(N=3) and a low level (N=2). The salivary cortisol dose showed a level of normalcy and
the body reading indicated a diaphragmatic armoring that suggests stress. Life quality
showed to be compromised, specially, for showing stress indicators and two being in an
exhaustion stage. In conclusion we see the need for a stress coping program oriented by
body psychology techniques.
Dez residentes do sexo feminino, do segundo ano (R2),

Exploring how unresolved trauma contributes towards stuckness within intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships : applying somatic experiencing and logotherapy interventionsSilva, Julie Daymon McLeod E. 06 1900 (has links)
The study undertook to explore the notion of stuckness within interpersonal and intrapersonal relationship dynamics. Stuckness has different presentations and can pertain to an individual’s’ inability to move beyond a particular challenge, or find resolution to one or more persistent problems. Alternatively, the stymied dynamic could manifest as a person becoming consistently highly activated or triggered. This has negative ramifications, within both interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. Therapeutically, psychological stuckness is frequently encountered, and a lack of resolution of past trauma, is speculated as being a contributory factor.
A qualitative, explorative research study was conducted over a period of one year, to collect data. The research design consisted of five case studies of participants who engaged in approximately one year of therapy. Participants were seen fortnightly, by a clinical psychologist, who is also the researcher of the study. The notes taken in the therapy sessions, as well as other qualitative methods, were utilised to collect the data. The data was analysed for themes formulated by the researcher, which themes correlated with the principles of the two schools of thought applied in the study. Logotherapy and somatic experiencing are the therapeutic interventions, which were included in the research method. These approaches were utilised in an endeavour to explore their efficacy, in resolving stuckness, speculated as being due to unprocessed trauma.
Participation in the study was voluntary and boundaries of ethical codes, as well as values of psychotherapeutic therapy adhered to. There was no monetary exchange for the therapy received, and no costs incurred to the participants, in the research study. The presence of a long-standing persistent problem, or issue (stuckness) that had belied resolution, was the main criteria for inclusion in the study.
The research explored the possible association between unresolved trauma, as well as various types of interpersonal, and intrapersonal stuckness. Impulsivity, explosive tempers, irrationality, emotionality and bizarre acting out behaviours, are some of the presentations, that the study speculated, as being due to unprocessed traumatic
energy. A contribution of this research is that there is an absence of any prior studies conducted which explores stuckness and its correlation with unresolved trauma. In addition, no other research assessing the combined, top-down, and bottom-up efficacy of the therapeutic approaches of logotherapy and somatic experiencing were sourced. Payne, et al. (2015 b) state that they could not find evidence of more than five papers which provided case studies on somatic experiencing as a trauma intervention. The number of studies undertaken on somatic experiencing in general, is also significantly limited (Changaris, 2010; Samardzic, 2010). This adds to the value, meaning and purpose of this research, as it is a unique endeavour, motivated by the researcher’s intention to add more value to individuals’ lives, especially when the presenting problem, appears to be unfathomable stuckness. In an absence of any understanding for the reasons for such stuckness, these people may experience significant distress at being stymied, within the self, or in relation to others, as well as feel at a loss for any possible recourse. This study could prompt other researchers to conduct similar investigations, not only of the combined body-based, and cognitive psychotherapuetic interventions, but also of the link between stymied interpersonal, as well as intrapersonal relationship dynamics, and trauma.
The application of a mind, body and soul approach in the study, through the inclusion of logotherapy, is also relevant. In reviewing the direction of psychological fields, one can detect that the trends are towards constructs such as meditation, enlightenment, consciousness, meaning, purpose, mindfulness, presence, and spiritual identity. Individuals are seeking more enlightenment, and want to explore more of the noetic dimension, which I believe psychotherapy has to include, in order to meet the needs of an evolving society. / Psychology / D.Phil. Scéničnost v psychoterapii / The Scenic Principle in PsychotherapySiřínek, Jan January 2018 (has links)
Mgr. Jan Siřínek, The Scenic Principle in Psychotherapy Abstract This dissertation explores the effectivity of a targeted application of body/drama- oriented therapy in the act of inducing a corrective emotional experience. The term scenic- symbolic principle is introduced and meant to 1) ascribe symbolic significance to people, objects, or parts intrinsic to the therapy room; 2) enable these as roles for dramatization; and 3) employ the symbolic significance of physical contact and body motion. Therapeutic schools that use the scenic-symbolic principle are summarized. Detailed attention is given to Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) therapy, in which the scenic-symbolic principle serves as the central instrument in achieving a corrective emotional experience. After examining the theoretical concepts and intervention procedures of PBSP, this paper describes an experiment, in which 40 persons were randomly distributed between experimental and control groups (N = 20 for each group). The goal of the experiment was to achieve a change in attitude towards a job, task, or duty that the subjects were facing, in an effort to reduce negative emotions. While intervention in the experimental group was enriched by using the scenic-symbolic principle, both groups demonstrated significant improvement (pe < 0.001; pc...
