This diploma thesis deals with the research of communication between the town council of České Budějovice and representatives of the lower nobility between 1581 and 1584 and later with the interruption from 1602 to 1604. Its aim is to describe the content of mutual correspondence and interpret it in the context of the history of the South Bohemian region. It presents a typology of correspondence in order to identify the most common topics that occurred in the mutual communication of the city council and representatives of the lower nobility. The specific arguments used by the councilors of České Budějovice also became the subject of interest. This approach helped to clarify the identity that the burghers represented through the documents of the city office. Finally, it examines the settlement of representatives of the lower nobility. It was reconstructed using data from correspondence and tax registers. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes the findings and offers possible directions that could be followed in future research.

The aim of this thesis was to find out the motivations and attitudes of the students to study. Particularly of the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia. Thesis is focused on finding answers on questions such as why did students choose this faculty for their studies, what factors were important in choosing a school, who contributed to this decision, for instance family or peers, with their opinion or advice. As well as how do students evaluate the course of study, whether there are any problems that should be solved at the faculty etc. Part of the work is qualitative and quantitative research. Data from quantitative research are were provided by the faculty. Qualitative research was done in the form of semi-structured interviews. In conclusion, interesting outcome from the evaluation of both surveys were summarized, whether the outcome of both surveys coincide or contradict what benefits each research has brought. Part of the outcome are also some recommendations for the faculty based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the interviews. Highlighted were also the most positive and negative opinions and perceptions of the students during their studies, so the outcome is useful with its qualitative data.

The pukl, commonly called dudy, is a bellow-blown bagpipe whose origin and development can be traced to older forms known as grosser Bock and polnischer Bock. The instrument is an important feature in the identity of Chodsko, an ethonographic region of West Bohemia. This thesis shows the significance of the pukl in Chodish tradition through its organology, pedagogy, performance practice, and history. Through the novel Psohlavci, Alois Jirásek offered a footing for reinforcement of Chodish traditions. The thesis argues that a succession of makers, performers, teachers, institutions, and events have woven a web of tradition in which the pukl holds a significant position. Supporting evidence is shown from artworks that are visible to the public as well as decoration on the instrument. Selected from the Chodish canon, the beloved song, ‘Zelený hájové’, illustrates the use of the dialect and ornamentation as being indicative of the region. Essa pesquisa abordou a relação da boemia com a cidade, mais especificamente com trechos dos bairros Centro Histórico e Cidade Baixa em Porto Alegre. Valendo-se de um ferramental teórico-metodológico que defende que a experiência de pesquisa do urbanista se dê pelo cruzamento de diferentes saberes e, além disso, que defende também a importância da ida a campo, exploramos a relação da boemia com a cidade sob dois grandes eixos: (a) através do processo de construção de lugares e (b) enxergando a própria boemia tanto como uma forma de vida pública da noite relacionada à diversão das pessoas, quanto também como um imaginário construído. A partir de fragmentos colhidos na pesquisa de campo foram construídas narrativas a partir das quais evidenciamos como: (a) o processo de construção de lugares é intimamente ligado a experiências-vivências de sujeitos e coletividades que resultam em memórias e afetos; além disso, mostramos como em paralelo existem também processos de subjetivação e de valorização, todos eles ligados a materialidade dos espaços urbanos; (b) como o termo/imaginário/ideia de boemia se renova por um conjunto de práticas contemporâneas, misturados com sobrevivências de outros tempos e lugares em que a ideia de boemia se constituiu. Por fim, abordamos também questões ligadas ao próprio fazer dessa pesquisa, buscando compartilhar aprendizados obtidos e na defesa de um conhecimento fragmentário como um importante caminho para um urbanismo em que a sensibilidade possa entrar no jogo de análise espacial. / This research approached the relation of boemia with the city, more specifically with sections of the districts Centro Histórico and Cidade Baixa in Porto Alegre. Using a theoretical-methodological tool that advocates that the urbanist's research experience must be based on the cross-fertilization of different knowledge and, in addition, that also defends the importance of field research, we explore the relationship between bohemia and the city under two major axes: (a) through the process of building places and (b) seeing the bohemia itself as both a public form of public life at night related to the amusement of people, and also as a constructed imaginary. From the fragments collected in the field research were constructed narratives from which we show: (a) how the process of building places is intimately linked to the experiences of subjects and collectivities that result in memories and affections; In addition, we show how in parallel there are also processes of subjectivation and valorization, all linked to the materiality of urban spaces; (b) how the term / imaginary / idea of bohemia is renewed by a set of contemporary practices, mixed with survivors of other times and places in which the idea of bohemia was constituted. Finally, we also address issues related to the proper conduct of this research, seeking to share acquired learning and defending a fragmentary knowledge as an important pathway to an urbanism in which sensitivity can enter the spatial analysis game.

The thesis focuses on the use of the Rural Development Programme, Axis III, detail, measure 1, the development of rural areas in South County. Compares the situation in the South Region with the national development in this area. In order to address the author analyzes the use of financial aid on the basis of submitted projects. The author also carried out a survey among business operators and other beneficiaries, the extent to which their activities were beneficial to the objectives of the RDP. The aim of the work will be analyzing the specific conditions for diversification in southern Bohemia and their evaluation based on projects financed by the Rural Development Programme. The paper will use historical methods of analysis, logic and comparative analysis with the use of statistical data.

I studied the influence of fishpond management and environmental characteristics on diving beetles (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae), which are important predators in aquatic systems. In 2014 I used live traps to study diving beetle communities in 117 ponds in South Bohemia. The ponds were divided in three categories: intensively managed, extensively managed, and without fish. In total 26 species of diving beetles were found (N=1346). Overall, the beetles prefered shallow litoral zones with cattail (Typha), manna grass (Glyceria) and reed (Phragmites). The number of species declined with increasing alttitude and depth near the trap, while their abundance increased with pond area and amount of detritus near the trap. Beetles occured more in ponds with lower pH, lower conductivity and higher oxygen content. More beetles were found in fishless ponds. On the other hand, some ponds with high density of fishes but well preserved littoral zone had similar communities of diving beetles to the fishless ponds. This shows that high density of fish in ponds decreases the diversity and abundance of diving beetles, most likely because it decreases the vegetation in littoral zone. During the survey, four new localities of Graphoderus bilineatus were found; the species is protected by NATURA 2000 and has been known from very few recent localities in the Třeboň area.

This thesis deals with creating a business plan and proposal of its practical usage in entrepreneurship. With the help of theoretical knowledge, the concrete business plan Miss University of South Bohemia was created.
