Stavby a geodynamický vývoj ortorul moldanubika / Fabrics and geodynamic evolution of orthogneisses in the Moldanubian Zone

Kryl, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
Fabrics and geodynamic evolution of Moldanubian orthogneisses English abstract The aim of this paper is a structural analysis of selected mostly Cambro-Ordovician orthogneisses cropping out in a part of high-grade rocks of western Moldanubian Zone. These rocks have been affected by HT-MP/LP metamorphism and the polyphase deformation during the Variscan orogeny. In the blaník orthogneisses, (Qtz + Kfs + Plg + Bt ± Ms ± Sill ± Ky) an early deformation banding dips steeply to SSE to ESE. These fabrics were overprinted by NW to N gently dipping foliation with well developed stretching lineations plunging to W. Rare kinematic indicators (e. g. fold and pressure shadows asymmetry) reveal a strong subvertical contraction and stretching in the ~N-S direction. Based on the microstructural analysis this contractional event was connected with the activity of "Grain Boundary Migration Recrystallization" (GBM). Ductile shear zones dipping to E, locally ESE or ENE were identified. Bechyně orthogneisses (Qtz + Kfs + Plg + Bt ± Ms) is a N-S elongated body with the presence of regional pervasive metamorphic foliation dipping homogenously under low angles from SSW to WNW . These foliations bear well developed mineral or stretching lineation of quartz, biotite and feldspar aggregates plunging to ~SW. In the blaník orthogneiss...

Hydrogeologie Skorkovského a Sojovického jímacího řadu na základě nových údajů z vrtů / Hydrogeology of Skorkov and Sojovice waterworks based on data from new water wells

Rybářová, Magdalena January 2015 (has links)
The Riverbank Filtration (RBF) water supply system Karany has been affected by increasing NO3- concentrations during recent decades. This thesis deals with flow and chemical composition of groundwater in Skorkov and Sojovice RBF systems, which are the most problematic ones according to their quality in long term. Twelve new groundwater wells (V1- V12) were drilled in study area in 2013. Data derived from the wells were used to improve the conceptual hdrogeological model of the area and I tried to specify information about the origin of nitrate pollution. The Groundwater level logging showed hydraulic connection between the river and the wells situated up to 130 m faraway from the river (V1, V2 andV10), which were also demonstrated by the short- term temperature fluctuations caused by fast penetration of surface water from The Jizera River during higher flow rate to wells. I compiled geological sections which show the geometry of The Quaternary fluvial deposits and groundwater level. The chemical analysis of groundwater showed that it is not possible to differentiate groundwater from the shallow part of The Cretaceous aquifer from the aquifer of fluvial deposits by major chemical components. The result of infiltration experiments showed higher permeability in the environment with grass cover (kv=...

Možnosti krasovění v přechodní facii České křídové pánve / Possibilities of Karstification in the Transitional Facies of the Bohemian Cretatious Basin

Balák, František January 2015 (has links)
In the region of Bohemian Cretaceous Basin can be found some springs with specific yield over 100 l/s. The doyen of Czech hydrogeology Prof. Hynie described some of those springs to be of karst origin and as the most permeable area he described the so-called transitional facies between shallow-water sandstones and deep-water marlstones. Possibilities of karstification have not yet been studied for rocks in the BCB, so the origin of well-permeable pathways in the BCB is a subject of speculations. This thesis deals with the question of which sedimentary rocks potentially allow the generation of karst permeability in the BCB. To do so, rock samples drilled from outcrops in the BCB were subjected to a fast dissolution simulation by leaching in hydrochloric acid. Carbonate content is measured by a standard and one's own method. Mineral composition, grain size and microscopic structure of rocks are studied with SEM. As is shown, the border of rock karstification is not defined just by the carbonate content, but also the grain size, rock structure and by the occurrence of fine secondary silicate content. Concerning the amount of dissolvable compounds, the border of total disintegration can be at 30 % of carbonate content for some rocks, but the most resistant rocks (mostly fine rocks with SiO2 matrix) stay intact...

Analýza trhu práce a nezaměstnanosti ve Středočeském kraji / Analysis of the Labour Market in the Central-Bohemian Region

Stará, Šárka January 2011 (has links)
As the title of my diploma thesis already suggests, the thesis deals with the analysis of the labour market in the largest of all Czech regions. The situation in the Central-Bohemian labour market may be considered stable and the unemployment rate in this region has ranked among the lowest in the whole country for a long period of time, but due to the size of the region broad district differences may be observed. This thesis seeks to evaluate and summarise the evolution of the Central-Bohemian labour market (mainly in the past decade) and to highlight the main factors causing the differences mentioned above. The thesis also deals with the impact of economic recession on the labour market in the Central Bohemia and on the number of employees of major employers in the region. Last but not least I try to suggest several ways to reduce unemployment and evaluate the measures that have already been taken by the government organizations in my thesis. The first part of the document discusses theoretical aspects of the labour market functioning, measuring of unemployment and explains related terms.

Geodynamické aspekty vmístění granitoidů typu Eisgarn (Moldanubický batolit) / Geodynamic evolution and emplacement of Eisgarn - type granitoids (Moldanubian Batholith)

Paclíková, Jana January 2012 (has links)
English abstract This diploma thesis deals mainly with identification of magmatic (respectively magnetic) fabrics, geodynamical aspects of emplacement and geochronology of the Eisgarn granitoids. For the analysis Klenov and Mrákotín pluton were chosen, which is placed in the eastern part of the Moldanubian Batholith. This thesis contains petrological and mezoscopic structural analysis of the host metamorphic rocks of the Moldanubian Unit and it includes calculation of P-T conditions of the main mineral assemblage. This is followed by petrological, geochemical and mezoscopic structural analysis of the Klenov and Mrákotín pluton and analysis of the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility, geochronology of the Klenov pluton, gravimetry analysis and determination of the orientation of density interfaces in different depths. Granitoids of the Klenov and Mrákotín pluton are characterized as S-type granitoids, whose protolith were probably metasedimentary rocks. From the analysis it is also evident that the Klenov pluton records lower degree of magma fractionation than the Mrákotín pluton. The emplacement and crystallization of both studied magmatic bodies took place in cooperation with a development of regional metamorphic fabrics, which originate between 329 and 327 Ma. During this period a rapid exhumation of...

Thronis meis binis : validation through history in the court art of Charles IV

Bushnell, Taissa. January 2001 (has links)
Bohemian art of the second half of the fourteenth century is closely associated with the personality of Charles IV, Emperor of the Romans and King of Bohemia (1316--1378). In an effort to legitimize his reign as ruler of the Holy Roman Empire and to raise the profile of his ancestral Bohemian lands, he leaned on the power of history to reveal his heritage as stemming, on one side, from an illustrious line of emperors including Charlemagne, and on the other, from the dynasty of Bohemian sovereigns. He recognized that art could display this legitimization and so implemented a programme of historicism in his artistic commissions. His impact on Bohemian art was indirect as well: his ideas influenced the art patronage of his closest court advisers, as seen in this paper through the examples of two illuminated manuscripts, the Evangeliary of John of Opava and the Liber viaticus.

Hodnocení výskytu dávivého kašle v Jihočeském kraji v období 2005 - 2010. / Hacking cough occurance evaluation in South Bohemia region in 2005 - 2010.

HASSMANN, Vojtěch January 2011 (has links)
Area-wide vaccination against pertussis, also known as whooping cough, has been going on since the 40th - 50th of the last century. In our country this vaccination started in 1958. The World Health Organization estimates that worldwide 20 to 30 million people per year contract pertussis. Patients from developing countries account for 90% of cases. Pertussis is the cause of the death of around 200 000 - 300 000 people per year, up to 85% of whom are children under 2 years of age. As the only source of the bacteria Bordetella pertussis are humans, they are also suitable candidate for the elimination. Therefore, the WHO established an ambitious plan to reduce the incidence of pertussis below 0.1 per 100 000 inhabitants by the year 2000. However, no country succeeded in meeting this plan´s objectives on a long-term basis and since the 80th of the 20th century there has been an increasing trend of the disease incidence across all age groups worldwide. As the proof of severity of this issue pertussis was categorized among the so-called "emerging infectious diseases", that is re-emerging diseases. Diseases whose incidence has increased in recent decades and which could become a major health problem in the near future are classified into this category. In the case of pertussis, the most effective prevention is high vaccination rates in the population, especially children. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the current knowledge about pertussis. In the practical part I focused on the incidence and development of the disease in the South Bohemian Region in the years 2005 - 2010, with regard to individual age groups. The results show that in the South Bohemian Region the incidence was rising. The highest incidence was in the age group of 10 to 14 years. Another purpose of the research was to compare the incidence of pertussis in the South Bohemian Region with other regions of the CR. The South Bohemian region in the surveyed 6-year-period ranked among the regions with the highest incidence.

Zaniklé obce jako potenciál cestovního ruchu v Chráněné krajinné oblasti Český les / Extinct villages as a potencional of tourism in the Bohemian Forest Protected Landscape Area

Koch, Jan January 2018 (has links)
Key words: potential, extinct villages, Bohemian Forest, tourism This diploma thesis deals with the potential of tourism in the Protected Landscape Area of Bohemian Forest based on evaluation of localization and two chosen implementation factors. First of all, it examines the importance of the resulting potential of a extinct villages in this area. A total of 60 extinct villages are located in the area of interest in the districts of Domažlice and Tachov. Their location, history, population development and current status and information awareness have been studied. In the area of interest are presented its basic geographic characteristics as well as tourism facilities with realization factors. The text of the work is supplemented with tables, graphs, map outputs and also with the actual photographs taken by the extinct municipalities, which are listed in the annexes. The diploma thesis brought the following findings: the extinct villages have little influence on the overall potential of tourism in the Bohemian Forest Protected Landscape Area, but rather only on some local areas, there are no trails that would devote exclusively to the extinct villages in places where their high concentration. In the final discussion, therefore, three routes of potential educational trails for extinct villages are...
