Historie dolování uranového ložiska Příbram / History of mining uranium deposit in Příbram

SASKOVÁ, Klára January 2010 (has links)
The region I´ve chosen for my diploma thesis is situated on the border of Poberounská and Czech-Moravian system of geomorphological unit Bohemian Massif. It used to be one of the richest uranium mining district of Příbram region, and it is characterized by geological structure of central-Bohemian plutonium within the geological complex Bohemian Massif. On the contiguity of it there is found vast hydrothermal uranium deposit. This deposit is divided into 9 panels ? Třebsko, Kamenná, Lešetice, Brod, Jeruzalém, Háje, Svatá Hora, Bytíz, Skalka and Obořiště, which belong to the Příbram district. The town Příbram is famous for its long-standing mining tradition not only of polymetalic but above all of uranium ores. This tradition achieved the great success of world standards in the second half of the 20th century. There was revealed a lot of hydrothermal dikes containing requested uranite (black blende, nasturan) after the Second World War. This raw material was heading to Soviet Union. Uranium mining works initiated its epoch in 1949 and regular mining activities finished by the closing of the last shaft in 1991. In all the period of time there was mined 50200, 8 tones of uranium ore. Uranium deposit in Příbram can also take pride in the deepest shaft No. 16 with the depth of 1838, 4 m which is the shaft No. 16. In connection with the mining there was formed the life of local people and also the life of people from all Czechoslovakia who were setting off to seek a living there. Today all the shafts are closed and deluged in a natural way. In certain area of the deposit has been built cavern gas reservoir. No other mining will be possible in the future. The state enterprise Diamo realizes revitalization works on former mining panels and monitors the value of surrounding environment.

Analýza užitkových vlastností u stáda dojnic. / Analysis of commercial properties in dairy herds.

POTUŽÁKOVÁ, Jitka January 2011 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate fertility and milk performance in dairy cows, predominantly Holstein cattle, due to technology used in the view of welfare animals. Monitoring was carried out on the farm AGROSPOL, Malý Bor a.s. from 2008 to 2010. Dairy cows were kept in the same technological conditions, with the same level of nutrition and treatment. Monitoring included 662 dairy cows of Bohemian Spotted Cattle (C), Holstein cattle (H1) and high proportion of crossbreeds of these cows (H2). Fertility was evaluated due to indicators of reproduction (first calving age, insemination interval, service period, interim) and in terms of milk performance there were measured indicators of milk production (lactation length, milk production, protein production, fat content, protein and lactose content). Statistically, significant differences were found in the length of insemination interval, service period length (P ? 0,01) and interim length (P ? 0,05). Dairy cows (C) reached markedly shorter period of the following indicators: insemination interval 70,6 days, service period 98,6 days and interim 395,9 days. There was not found a significant difference in length of these indicators among the groups of Holstein dairy cows. Lactation order did not influence the length of reproduction indicators. The influence of bull-father in terms of reproductive indicators was not proved. Comparison of milk production and protein production in dairy cows due to lactation order proved that cows in the first lactation had a lower yield of milk (8737,1 kg) than dairy cows in the following lactations (9669,3 ? 10209,3 kg), as well as protein production (kg). Dairy cows ?C? gave 9115,3 kg of milk in 305 days, dairy cows ?H1? 9664,1 kg and cows ?H2? 9511,0 kg of milk. These differences were not evaluated as statistically conclusive, as well as differences in content of milk elements among genotypes in fixed lactation norms. The influence of the individuality of a bull in milk and protein production was not proved. Significant differences were found in percentage of fat content (P ? 0,05), protein and lactose content (P ? 0,01) in milk of cow-daughters after particular bulls.

Vliv způsobu hospodaření na biodiverzitu modelových skupin obratlovců {--} drobní savci. / The influence of management on biodiversity of vertebrates model groups {--} small mammals.

KOUTNÍKOVÁ, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
This thesis creates a part of more extensive scientific study, which evaluates effects of different agricultural management on ecological functions and on landscapes´s water regime in source water areas of Bohemian Forest. A one of examined characteristic of catchment is biodiversity of plant and animal communities. The aim of my thesis is a comparsion of diversity of small terrestrial mammals in three catchments with similar nature conditions, but different management. Small terrestrial mammals is a group of vertebrates often used for study of enviromental state, because of their high reprodctive potential, good invasive ability and ability to indicate the changes in environmental quality. The master thesis is a follow-up to a previous bachelor thesis and extends it significantly. A teoretical part involves literary review of small mammals´s occurrence in Bohemian Forest, their micro-habitat preferences and the effect of management on the biodiversity of their communities. Practical part of the thesis contains evaluation of the results of capture-mark-release trapping, which took place from June to September of the years 2007 and 2009. In those two years 52 individuals were captured. From this amount, 7 individuals were captured twice. Captured small mammals were included into 5 species, whose occurrence in studied localities was expected. There were yellow-necked mouse (Apodemus flavicollis - 22 individuals), field vole (Microtus agrestis - 6 individuals), common vole (Mircotus arvalis - 10 individuals), bank vole (Clethrionomys glareolus {--} 2 individuals) and common shrew (Sorex araneus - 5 individuals). In the Bukový potok catchment 20 individuals were captured in 2007 and only 2 individuals in 2009. They belong to species: Apodemus flavicollis, Clethrionomys glareolus and Sorex araneus. In catchment of Mlýnský potok no individual was captured in 2007 and 10 individuals of only one species (Mircotus arvalis) were captured in 2009. In Horský potok catchment 5 individuals were captured in 2007 and 8 individuals in 2009. Three species were found: Apodemus flavicollis, Microtus agrestis, Clethrionomys glareolus a Sorex araneus. The largest positive change of abundance between 2007 and 2009 was found in the Mlýnský potok catchment. The largest fall of abundanace was in the catchment of Bukový potok. Only in catchment of Horský potok the relatively stable abundance was noticed. The thesis was supported by projects: MSM 6007665806, NAZV-QH82106 a NPV2-2B08006.

ŠVERÁKOVÁ, Barbora January 2011 (has links)
Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx) is included in the IUCN. It was extirpated in the Czech Republic at the beginning of the 19th century and is found thanks to the reintroduction since 1980 in the Czech Republic again. It is only wild feline in the Czech Republic. Lynx population has lost its growing trend and is decreasing mainly due to poaching. The project ?Support of public opinion about European lynx (Lynx lynx) in children and youth in the region Prachaticko? was created as a precaution against poaching. The project involved over 275 children and students. They gained new information through the teaching program in school subjects Biology, Art and Gymnastics and they made your own opinion about Lynx. Lynx is only carnivorous animal, which was and still is part of the Bohemian Forest.

Zachování HP minerálů a textur ve světlých a mafických granulitech Rychlebských hor / Preservation of HP minerals and textures in felsic and mafic granulites from the Rychleby Mts.

Schlöglová, Kateřina January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis - Kateřina Schlöglová - 2011 1/2 English abstract Granulites of the Rychleby Mts. represent relics of high-pressure eclogite-facies metamorphic rocks that are scattered in various crustal and mantle segments of the Variscan orogen in central Europe. These rocks may provide important insights into early stages of Variscan plate convergence and burial as well as exhumation mechanisms. We use mineral assemblages and chemistry to reconstruct the pressure-temperature paths, mechanisms of melting, and conditions of mineral preservation of high-pressure granulites, as well as whole- rock geochemistry to aid in interpretation of granulite precursors and their geodynamic setting. The mafic granulites consist of garnet, omphacite, two feldspars, and quartz with accessory rutile and zircon. The peak assemblage was partly replaced by pargasitic amphibole and biotite. Garnet grains are zoned from Grs36Py10Alm54 (core) to Grs20Py38Alm42 (rim), and host inclusions of phengite, omphacite, unmixed feldspars, kyanite, and rutile. Omphacite composition varies from Di44Hd14Jd42 (inclusions in garnet) through Di63Hd20Jd17 (porphyroblasts) and Di63Hd24Jd13 (symplectitic intergrowths with plagioclase). Reintegrated composition of the feldspar porphyroblasts is Or43Ab53An04. The felsic granulite variety is composed...
