Seeking the Breakthrough of the Internationalization of Yu-tong Bus Company / Seeking the Breakthrough of the Internationalization of Yu-tong Bus Company

Wang, Jing, Fu, Hongpeng January 2009 (has links)

Nowadays, China bus industry has stepped into a relative fast development stage. Domestic manufacturers have turned their attention to the international market. Yu-tong Bus Company, as one of the first-class and representative manufacturers in the industry, has made indubitable achievements in the international market, especially in middle and low-end market. However, for the process of internationalization, Yu-tong still needs to confront some barriers and obstacles. Particularly, for high-end market, more gaps exist which lead to the limitation of its competitive forces. In the thesis, we made the SWOT analysis about the export condition of Yu-tong according to the materials and data that we collected, combining with the relevant theories, conducting various analysis and investigations, we considered “Reverse FDI”(Reverse Foreign Direct Investment) as more appropriate and effective way for the internationalization, and revolving around the theory, we mainly concentrated on the extending of high-end market, tabled some proposals about seeking the breakthrough in the internationalization of Yu-tong Bus Company.

Vem är syndabocken i den tragiska olyckan? : En kvalitativ studie om rapporteringen av bussolyckan i Sveg / Who is the scapegoat in the tragic accident? : A qualitative study about the news reporting of the bus accident in Sveg

Blomqvist, Linn, Lygnebrandt, Anna January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this study was to examine how three newspapers covered the question of guilt while reporting about the bus accident in Sveg where three school children died. The questions examined were: How does the local newspaper Borås Tidning and Barometern and the evening newspaper Aftonbladet report about the question of responsibility of the bus accident in Sveg? What are the differences and similarities between the three newspapers? We made a discourse analysis of 23 news articles from three different newspapers. The result shows that the newspapers reported about possible reasons that caused the disaster. If the society had taken responsibility and maintained the road then maybe the bus had not crashed. The passengers are described as guilty because of their lack of using seat belts. Simultaneously the bus driver is represented as irresponsible who could have prevented the misfortune by not driving so recklessly. Another aspect of the question of responsibility produce the bus company as the scapegoat of the tragical incident because of the miserable working conditions. We discovered that the newspapers are driven by figuring out the question of guilt in order to give answers to the readers about the tragedy in Sveg. Conclusions drawn from this study are that the media coverage are influenced by news values like their proximity to the persons involved.

Dopravní politika konzervativních vlád ve Velké Británii v letech 1979-1997 / Transport Policy of Conservative Governments in Great Britain since 1979 to 1997

Růt, Štěpán January 2010 (has links)
The diploma thesis analyzes the changes in transport policy during the time of Thatcher and Major conservative governments. It tries to answer why the traffic situation resulted in a permanent break with the concept raised in the 1940s by labour government. The changes are associated with principles of Thatcherism which also influenced the transport industry. The contribution of the work consists of creating a compact view of the privatization of bus and rail transport, including consideration and evaluation of options and results. Both the same and different elements of the privatization of two transport sectors are mentioned. Author uses information from contemporary sources obtained in the National Archives, London-Kew as well as modern literature and scientific studies.

Salvador
