Rozvoj a vzdělávání pracovníků sociálních podniků / Employee education and development in social enterprisesSkálová, Veronika January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of development and education of Czech social enterprise employees and examines how these services are provided. The research set was made of enterprises listed in the Social Entrepreneurship Directory, which declare their social mission. In the form of a questionnaire survey, it was investigated how the educational process in the enterprise proceeds from the planning, design to implementation and subsequent evaluation of educational activities. The research results show that social enterprises educate their employees, but in most enterprises it is a relatively unsystematic process, with reserves mainly on the theoretical and methodological side, which is mainly hampered by lack of funds and lack of time space. However, in the jungle of social entrepreneurship, there are clear exceptions that, despite all the obstacles, provide their staff with quality education services and care for their development. This dissertation thesis deals with lifelong education, specifically a programme provided by the Department of English Language and Literature at Charles University, Prague. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and research. In the theoretical part, the theoretical basis of lifelong education is analysed, as well as trends in selected aspects of it. In the research part, data about appropriate programmes from other European countries as well as curricula from other universities and colleges in the Czech Republic and from abroad are analysed. The results of the pilot stage, the questionnaire distributed among the successful participants of the lifelong education programme, which are followed by semi-structured interviews, are presented and compared. In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the teachers teaching in this programme. Content analysis is used to process, compare and interpret the collected data with regard to the programme in question and to the aims of the thesis. The diploma thesis focuses on the development of information literacy and information education in university libraries. Based on theoretical and practical knowledge, the aim of the thesis is to propose a concept of information education in the university library of the University of West Bohemia. First, the theoretical part introduces key terms, content, implementable forms and current approach to information education in the context of the university environment. Moreover, it also specifies the current role of the university library as a provider of information education and defines the main competencies of a librarian as an education coordinator or lecturer. Next, the thesis provides an overview of the current activities aimed at literacy development at the university library. The practical part describes in detail the course of quantitative survey of student needs and preferences related to the analysed issue. The final part of the thesis is based on the research results and facts obtained from the analysis of the current educational programs. It proposes a concept of information education, which defines possible changes to the current situation and offers recommendations for future development of the university library so that it can realize its full potential in this area.

This diploma thesis deals with the education of officials of public administration on the level of territorial self-government. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate a system of education of officials of territorial self-governing units on example of a particular town district authority in Ostrava, to identify problematic spheres and to propose the possibilities of their solution. After introductory determination of the problem in the beginning of the thesis there are theoretical solutions stated and there are contemporary trends of development in education of officials in Europe outlined. Afterwards there is an origin of contemporary system of education of officials of territorial self-governing units in the Czech Republic described in the context of reform of public administration which is followed by the determination of legislative framework, by organisation of education and by overview of participants engaged in this sphere. The diploma thesis focuses on a European activity eTwinning and its implementation within the system of education. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the activity and its main principles, as well as its goals and management. The thesis presents the development of the activity since its lunch in 2005 until now, describes its original direction to be followed at the beginning as well as the gradual changes that happened during its further implementation. The practical part defines the main internet tools offered by eTwinning to its users and describes those in detail. This final thesis deals with innovations in the management of informal education. The main goal of this work is to determine the extent to which the executives of leisure education organizations recognize the need for innovations in different areas of the organization, to compare the extent and content of specific innovations in selected organizations and explore in which areas and based on which stimuli the innovations in these organizations arise. The obtained information is useful for efficient preparation of further training of organization executives and described examples of good practice as an inspiration to improve the performance of leisure and informal education organizations. The theoretical part incorporates leisure and informal education into the overall education system of the Czech Republic and its development is illustrated on the laws and decrees from 1948 to present. Research in the form of structured interview reveals the respondents view on innovations in leisure education and shows the respondents experience with the introduction of innovations in their own organizations. The conclusions of this research clearly show the need for innovation in informal and leisure education for the competitiveness of individual organizations. The present thesis focuses on further education of pedagogical personnel at high schools in Central Bohemia Region. The aim of this thesis is to explore, whether the teaching staff continue with their education. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is split into two chapters which offer definitions of key words and explain the basic terms closely related to further education of pedagogical personnel. The following chapter describes the implementation of further education of pedagogical personnel, educational methods and tools. The theoretical part also deals with gaining financial sources for further education. The practical part of the thesis is split into two chapters employing the method of questionnaire survey which was sent to the teaching staff in the Central Bohemia Region. This method was used to explore the motivation of pedagogical personnel to continue their education, and to monitor the conditions for their education. In the conclusion, the thesis adverts to several recommendations arising from the questionnaire survey.
