The diploma thesis What is Behind a Cup of Tea from Sri Lanka? The Tea and Its Impact on the Development Of Sri Lanka analyzes the impact of tea production and tea trade on the sustainable development of Sri Lanka. The thesis resides in a systematic literature review accompanied with personal knowledge gained whilst I conducted the field research. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and a suggestion. The theoretical part describes the sustainable development. It also evaluates evolution and the development of Sri Lanka itself. Lastly, it traces the tea process from planting to selling. The second part analyzes environmental, social and economical impact of the tea production including the tea trade. Furthermore, it evaluates the tea influence on the sustainable development of Sri Lanka. The third part relates to the recommendation and suggestion based on the results of the analysis which may improve current tea situation in Sri Lanka.

This Diploma thesis called "Quality management in selected company" explores the current state of the quality management system in a selected organization. It was Gerresheimer Horšovský Týn, spol. s. r. o. The company produces inhalers, insulin pens and other plastic products for medical industry. The term quality is currently being used more and more frequently. In order, for a company to be successful and to compete on the market, it is necessary to pay great attention to quality. The first part of this thesis is a review of literature. It is devoted to the definition of basic concepts of quality management. In the next part there is a description of the selected company and its established quality management system. Finally, after the detection of the current conditions and identifying deficiencies of the quality management system are at this Diploma thesis suggested recommendations that could lead to improvement of the current situation at the company.

Describes the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 to selected business. Includes analysis and evaluation of the current situation before the introduction of standards in society and the consequent benefits of certification for the selected business.

The diploma thesis deals with ?The system of managing quality in a selected company in relationship to innovations in the product?. The terms quality, quality management and other terms associated with quality are explained in the thesis, furthermore the term innovation and some of its types were characterized. The goal of the thesis is analysis of the current situation in quality management, detection of reserves and duplicities, suggestions of measures for improving quality management based on analysis and practical knowledge using methods of international companies. I specifically focused on the company MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a. s. and her division of Mechanization. The company has a formally very well described and established system of quality management. I found out however, that not all rules, norms, regulations and instructions, that are theoretically very well described, are always correctly and sufficiently applied in praxis. To make the situation better, I have suggested the following measures: bigger emphases on the concept of work development in context with quality, rigorous use of proven methods, that were described in the first part of the thesis, attempt to get more objective data about quality development from customers, to be more initiative in the innovation department and watch the competition.

The aim of this thesis, which is called "Organization of production and quality in the company" was to assess how the management and organization help to abide by the production quality. There was introduced a production process of two chosen products, a process of the production flow and a background of the production in the selected company. Next part includes the description of the quality management of the chosen products including requirements and standards which are necessary for the production of the cosmetic products. Based on the findings of deficiencies, there were suggested measures to improve the quality management system.

The objective of this diploma thesis is to recommend an optimal way of creating a reliable quality assessment system for products of crop and livestock origin. The selected companies have been searched for key aspects of these systems and evaluated. Further, the certification of quality systems in the Czech Republic was also examined.

This diploma thesis has been written on the topic:"Quality management system in the small and middle enterprise (SME)". The choosen enterprise is called "Roman Kovář company", which deals with cargo-transport services. The goal of this diploma thesis is to value and describe quality management system in choosen SME. In a theoretical part, there is quality management system described and divided due to literature.

The purpose of this thesis is recommendations which are proposed to improve the current situation after analysis and identification of deficiencies the quality management system in the selected company. The terms quality and quality management system in the general sense are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. The information about quality management is based on the Czech and the English literature. The selected company and its system of quality management are presented in the practical part of this diploma thesis. All information for analysis is taken from the internal documents and from the consultations with a quality manager. This thesis illustrates some processes the quality management system which are applied in the company, namely the people, the infrastructure, the documented information, the process of purchase, the control of nonconforming outputs, the monitoring and measurement, the internal audit and the improvement. The changes suggested to improve individual processes of quality management are introduced after the evaluation of this analysis.

This work concerns a quality management in the area of health service. The aim of degree work is anallysis and comparison of National accreditation standards in health service and downloading quality management system in hospital with destination obtaining certification. On basis of analyse both of processes it defined difference in extent and raiting certification and accreditation in hospitals. Process certification was analysed in Hospital Strakonice who in year 2006 got certification according to norm ISO 9001:2000 on the all hospital, also as on medical part, so another traffic. Process accreditation was analysed in Hospital Písek who in year 2006 successfully passed accreditation by SAK CZ and got certificate of hospital`s accreditation. From this work follow suggestion and recommendation on the optimal framework quality management system and application of the most suitable process in South Bohemian hospitals.
