Martin Souček, Ph.D. This thesis deals with consumer behaviour and their decision making process at point of purchase. Consumer behaviour is researched within the process of buying confectionery. Methods of questionnaire, focus groups, eye-tracking and in-depth interviews have been used in the practical part. Based on results in the practical part, a model of consumer behaviour has been created. The thesis also suggests marketing recommendations which could be practically used.

Diploma thesis is focused on efficacy of social system of Czech Republic and its influence on consumer behavior. Social transfers are part of household's income and influence consumer behavior. Primary source of data is European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions in 2005 -- 2012. The main data source is added by data submitted by Czech National Bank and Czech Statistical Office. Efficacy of social system is analyzed in context of whole Czech Republic and also deeper according NUTS II classifications focused mainly on material deprivation, poverty and social exclusion. Recommendations in developing social transfers system are made from results of analyses.

Today's Trends in Coffee Consumption in EU Countries to Compare to non EU Countries

This thesis deals with the topic of coffee consumption. It is divided into two parts connected to each other. The first part sums up theoretical findings from the Czech as well as foreign authors' literature. The second part focuses on coffee consumption itself. First, situation on the coffee market was analysed. Then a market research among students from 8 countries -- Austria, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Italy, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey - was made (using a questionnaire) and results were compared. Based on this research, recommendations for Park Lane Café were brought.

This master thesis is focused on consumer behaviour of young consumers between 15-29 years at fast food market in South Moravia region. The main aim of this thesis is to identify factors which influence consumer during buying process at this particular group of consumers and on this principle formulate general valid marketing recommendation. Qualitative and quantitative methods are used for research. Focus groups method and questionnaire method were used in research exactly. The result of these methods were used for cluster analysis. The result of cluster analysis are cluster with similar properties and members of these clusters are influenced by same factors. On this base general valid marketing recommendations are made for each cluster. These recommendations can be used in South Moravia region.

The undergraduate education is one of the important factors that contribute to forming of the opinions and attitudes towards the world and global issues. One of them is the environment topic, which has become a priority interest of both the politicians and general public as a reaction to possible environment risks in the 1960's. According to current data summarized in the strategic documents it is necessary to address the environment problems as a complex issue and besides government, market and technology arrangements it is also essential to focus on the end users. The areas which have the most significant impact on the environment include drink and food consumption and the usage of buildings. The awareness of the problem and the attitudes towards the environment issue are reflected in the more responsible approach to consumption. The aim of this work is to discover whether there is a relation between the advancing environmental education of FRRMS students and their consumer choices.

This thesis deals the effect of breed cattle cows on maternal behavior and vital signs of calves after birth. This diploma thesis is a brief overview of the development of cattle breeding cows in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part consists of a summary of the knowledge of general and special cattle ethology, physiology of calfbirth, secretion of milk, physiological traits of the newborn calves and characteristics of these cattle breeds. The practical part contains of an analysis of maternal expressions of cows and calves living manifestations of Galloway breed, Aberdeen Angus brees and Hereford breed in the period since the fetus leaves the birth canal to lie down after the first calves colostrum drink. To the observed group included five pairs (cow and calf) from each of these breeds. In cows, showed differences mainly in the time that pay to licking the calf and vocalisation. In calves, especially at a time when they tried to get up for a first time, and when they stood up for a first time.

This diploma thesis analyses the consumer behaviour of people in the age 18-40 years on the market with gluten free food. Using a questionnaire survey, eye tracking research and interviews were identified factors which influence consumer buying decision process. The thesis focused both on the sales of gluten free foods in stores as well as sales through online stores. There were some significant differences between types of consumers, according to which it was possible to create personas. The research results were the basis for creating general marketing advices for subjects on this market.

Návrh segmentace posluchačů na českém trhu rozhlasových stanic

Diploma thesis deals with radio broadcasting, especially the behavior of listeners on the radio market and the perception of radio advertising. To determine the behavior of listeners while listening to the radio and their preferences the author used to questionnaire survey (n = 502). Based on the resulting data was perfomed the applicable segmentation of the audience on the Czech market radio stations. For more detailed understanding of the behavior and attitudes of listeners in-depth interviews were realized (n = 20). Part of this work was to evaluate the perceptions of advertising radio ads. Promotional block of 10 spots was tested on students of FBE MENDELU (n = 215). The results of this thesis were formulated into proposals and recommendations for providers of radio broadcasting as well as radio advertisers.

Qualitative research was used in the practical part of the thesis. Two main methods were eye-tracking research and depth interviews with wine consumers. Based on the results a con-sumer behaviour model was created. Thesis contains marketing recommendations that could be used in wine label creating.
