O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar o tema dos duplos em O homem duplicado, de José Saramago. Publicada no Brasil em 2002, a obra discute a questão a identidade no mundo globalizado, a partir da história do encontro entre Tertuliano Máximo Afonso, professor de história, e seu sósia, António Claro, um ator coadjuvante. Por meio da análise de trechos do romance, busca-se verificar como o autor retoma o tema do duplo para abordar a cisão da identidade do homem contemporâneo. Para realizar este estudo, a presente dissertação se apóia nos teóricos que trataram o tema do duplo, como Carl F. Keppler e Nicole Bravo, e da identidade, caso de Stuart Hall. Outro referencial é o trabalho de Marshall Berman sobre a dialética da modernização. Sigmund Freud também traz importantes contribuições do ponto de vista da psique humana. Com tais abordagens, o propósito é compreender melhor os mecanismos ficcionais que sustentam a crítica realizada por Saramago, buscando entender o jogo entre realidade exterior e interior no ambiente ficcional e social. Por este motivo, o trabalho está dividido em cinco partes. Na introdução, é apresentada a proposta da dissertação e a fundamentação teórica. O primeiro capítulo volta-se à análise do duplo homogêneo no romance. Em seguida, vem a investigação sobre o duplo heterogêneo. Os outros dois tratam da cisão da identidade contemporânea. Um enfoca a construção do conflito principal da obra, enquanto o segundo prioriza o estudo das ambiguidades ao longo do enredo, para evidenciar a estrutura da obra como característica da pós-modernidade. / This dissertation researches the duplicity in The Double, by José Saramago. This book was published in Brazil in 2002 and focuses on the globalized world identity, based on the story of the meeting between Tertuliano Máximo Afonso, a History teacher, and his look-alike, António Claro, a supporting actor. Analyzing parts of the novel, the way this duplicity theme is observed to approach the division of the contemporary man\'s identity. This dissertation is based on theoreticians who focus on duplicity, such as Carl F. Keppler and Nicole Bravo, and identity, Stuart Hall. The work of Marshall Berman on \"modernization dialectics is another reference. Sigmund Freud also provides important contributions from the point of view of the human psyche. Using such approach, it was possible to better understand fiction mechanisms supporting criticism by Saramago, trying to understand the game between the inner and outer reality in fiction and society. That is why this paper is divided in five parts. The first part presents the purpose of this dissertation and theoretical foundation. The second part focuses on the analysis of the homogeneous duplicity in this novel. Then, an investigation about the heterogeneous duplicity. The other two parts focuses on contemporary identity division. One focuses on the construction of the main conflict in this novel, and the other focuses on the study of ambiguities along the story, in order to make evident the structure of the novel as post modernity feature.

It is built from two conceptual pillars: the first is the sociological notion of Richard Sennet of the Public Role and the equilibrium between the public and private realm. The work of Oliver Mongin is used to describe how the rupture of this equilibrium caused fractions in the shape of the contemporary city and ultimately in the appropriation of the public spaces. The second pillar is the discussion around the 5 characteristics of spaces that foster the interaction of people: the meaning, the diversity, the context and the physical characteristics. The proposed historic review shows how the appropriation of the Public Spaces has changed according to historical context and highlights the most significant events which helped shape the daily fruition of the city by its dwellers. The city of the 21st Century is discussed in the last part, where forces that seem to be impacting the use of the public space in São Paulo are debated: the new Master Plan, movements from the Society and the daily use of places that seem to depict a strong desire to recapture the original meaning of the public realm. / Esse trabalho trata da apropriação do espaço público na história de São Paulo. Ele se utiliza de dois pilares conceituais: o primeiro é a discussão sociológica com base na obras de Richard Sennet e Olivier Mongin sobre a importância dos papéis públicos para a constituição da identidade do homem urbano e a ruptura do equilíbrio entre as esferas pública e privada na cidade contemporânea. O segundo é a conceituação das características do espaço que induzem a fruição: o significado, a diversidade, a inserção na cidade e os próprios aspectos físicos. A periodização proposta parte da historiografia escolhida para destacar os eventos históricos da cidade que transformaram a maneira com que a sociedade paulistana se apropriou dos espaços públicos. O percurso histórico acompanha as mudanças na apropriação do espaço, tanto no uso cotidiano, como nos grandes eventos simbólicos, desde o momento em que a comunidade se transforma em cidade, passando por movimentos de crescimento, fragmentação, periurbanização segregação, até chegar ao final do século XX. A cidade do século XXI é discutida no último período, à luz do ordenamento institucional proposto pelo novo plano diretor, dos movimentos da sociedade civil, como as marchas de junho de 2013 e, finalmente, da ressignificação, vivenciada na prática, de alguns locais emblemáticos.

It was analyzed the construction of the legal texts in comparison with the accounting standards currently adopted by the Brazilian accounting system, followed by the recent changes influenced by worldwide modifications on these rules. The premise of a closed, autonomous and independent system of laws was taken in consideration without the existence of dialogism and Intertextuality between the science of law and accounting science. Thus were examined normative tax assumptions in order to compare it with corporate law and accounting records. Since no changes were identified on tax laws on this subject, were analyzed the structures and limits of the possibilities of register, measurement and amortization of the goodwill for tax purposes. Considering the facts and the legal aspects that could justify the possibility to apply the rules related to the amortization of goodwill, it was verified the importance of the theory of evidence to each specific case. Finally, it was analyzed if the main administrative court decisions on the subject that can be related to the discussions here taken / O estudo tem como objetivo a investigação das hipóteses normativas que estabelecem a relação jurídica do registro de ágio no momento da aquisição de participação societária em sociedade controlada ou coligada, bem como a possibilidade de amortização da base de cálculo do imposto sobre a renda do ágio gerado na aquisição em caso de posterior incorporação do patrimônio de sociedade adquirida em virtude de operações societárias de incorporação, fusão ou cisão. Investigou-se a construção das referidas hipóteses normativas frente à mudança de padrões de contabilidade atualmente adotados pelo sistema contábil brasileiro, seguindo-se a tendência mundial dessas alterações, e mudanças legislativas recentes. Partiu-se da premissa do direito como um sistema fechado, autônomo e independente sem se olvidar da existência do dialogismo e da intertextualidade entre a ciência do direito e a ciência contábil. Analisou-se, assim, as hipóteses normativas fiscais de forma comparativa aos preceitos estabelecidos pela legislação societária e os registros contábeis. E, não tendo sido alterada a legislação fiscal sobre o assunto, buscou-se, a partir da análise da estrutura normativa, estabelecer os limites e os contornos das hipóteses que veiculam as possibilidades de registro, mensuração e amortização do ágio para fins fiscais. Considerando-se, ainda, a necessária relação entre os fatos descritos no antecedente das hipóteses normativas e a realidade fática, para o fim de se identificar o fenômeno da subsunção do fato à hipótese normativa descrita, capaz de ensejar a possibilidade de amortização do ágio gerado na aquisição, verificou-se a importância da Teoria das Provas para o deslinde de cada caso concreto. Por fim, analisou-se as principais decisões administrativas sobre o assunto que guardam relação com as conclusões alcançadas nesse estudo
