Profiel van 'n traumaontlonter

Van Zyl, Elizette Heather 06 1900 (has links)
Increasing violence in the work environment created a need for an effective intervention to debrief traumatised workers. The aim of this study is to compile a profile of an effective trauma debriefer that can be used as a criterion for the selection of trauma debriefers. The task description of the trauma debriefer is based on the literature studied. The profile of the trauma debriefer was compiled using the characteristics of a self-actualised person, as described by the Humanism, as well as the skills based on Ivey's Microskills Hierarchy Model. Structured, non-directive interviews were conducted with five experts on the training of trauma debriefers. A qualitative analysis was made of the interviews, based on the personality characteristics and skills identified in the literature. A profile of an effective trauma debriefer that can be used as criterion during the selection of trauma debriefers, was compiled. Conclusions and recommendations were made and limitations were identified. / Toenemende geweld in die werksomgewing het gelei tot 'n behoefte aan 'n koste- effektiewe intervensie vir die ontlonting van getraumatiseerde vverkers. Problematika syndromu CAN z pohledu učitelů základních škol / The problems of CAN syndrom from look the basic school teachers'

JANDOVÁ, Martina January 2011 (has links)
Occurrence of Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) has recently become quite frequent. Even though the number of experts dealing with this issue is increasing and there is a lot of professional literature available, the numbers of children abused and neglected are on increase. Traumas and pathological behaviour, which children experience in their families, are often carried over to adulthood and new families in the form of behavioural patterns. Basic school teachers, who spend substantial part of the day with children in the classes, play an important role not only in prevention, but also in detecting CAN cases. The objective of the diploma thesis was to observe the level of awareness among teachers regarding CAN and related issues and to find out whether they know what to do in case a child is suspected of being abused or neglected. Also, it was aimed at learning whether the awareness is influenced by microregion the teachers live in and respondents? age. The hypotheses were established to observe whether the teachers of basic schools in Jindřichův Hradec have better awareness of the issues relating to CAN than the teachers of basic schools in Třeboň, and whether the teachers of basic schools in Jindřichův Hradec have better awareness of the issues relating to CAN than the teachers of basic schools in Dačice. Next hypothesis dealt with whether basic school teachers under 40 years of age demonstrate better CAN awareness than teachers above 40 years of age. A quantitative research using the method of interview and technique of questionnaire was used to verify the hypotheses. The research corpus comprised of teachers of basic schools in the microregions of Dačice, Jindřichův Hradec and Třeboň. The finite corpus comprised of 193 respondents. The teachers of basic schools in the microregion of Jindřichův Hradec did not demonstrate better awareness of the issues relating to CAN than the teachers of basic schools the microregions of Třeboň and Dačice. Also, the teachers under 40 years of age did not demonstrate better awareness of the issues at hand than the teachers above 40 years of age. Analysis of the outcomes retrieved from the performed research did not confirm validity of the hypotheses H1, H2 and H3. The outcomes of the thesis imply that awareness of the basic school teachers, who were included in the research corpora in the given microregions, regarding the issues relating to CAN do not relate either to given microregions, where teachers work, or the age of the respondents. In general, respondents showed substantial awareness of CAN. It should be noted that CAN is very serious social problem and each society should pay proper attention to it.

GRECHOVÁ, Michaela January 2013 (has links)
The topic of this thesis is Tactical attitudes to the person affected by abnormal events - psychological aspects; it deals with the psychological aid to persons affected by abnormal events. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on defining the basic applied terminology and its target which is: ? Mapping the present methods of psychological aid during the timely care of persons affected by abnormal events in the Czech Republic. The practical part has two goals: ? Mapping the present state and the possible development of psychological aid provided in connection with abnormal events from the viewpoint of psychologists of individual components of the Integrated Rescue System (IZS). ? Mapping the needs, values and strategies of mastering the situation by psychologists of IZS components in view of abnormal event In connection with the research target, 6 research questions were formulated. The research part of the thesis is focused on psychologists of the main components of IZS. It tries to summarize their experience, opinions, standpoints, reservations, and also needs and strategies of mastering the situation in connection with providing psychological aid in the early stage after the abnormal event. The qualitative research is implemented in the thesis by the method of questionnaire investigation with 16 open questions. Data collection was done in the form of a phone talk with several respondents, questionnaire method is combined with the method of structured talk. The investigated sample consists of 11 respondents ? psychologists of the main IZS components. 7 respondents were firemen (HZS ? Fire Rescue Service), 3 policemen (CR Police) and one psychologist of ZZS (Medical Rescue Service). The answers of individual respondents were recorded and the complete transcriptions of answers are stated in Annexes to thesis. The acquired data were interpreted by the author in the way representing the answers to research questions. To achieve a well arranged result, this interpretation was summarized into several points from which the results of research follow which are discussed in more detail in the following chapter. It was found out in the answers to research questions: ? What drawbacks are seen by IZS psychologist in the present system of providing psychological aid to persons affected by MU (abnormal events), ? Which aspects of the psychological aid provided to persons affected by MU are considered for well-functioning by the psychologist ? What possibilities of future development are seen by IZS psychologists in the field of psychological aid to persons affected by MU ? According to IZS psychologists, by what factors are limited other targets and development of the psychological aid to persons affected by MU ? What values, needs and mastering strategies and sources are applied by psychologist in connection with interventions during and after abnormal events ? What methods of psychological aid are applied by the addressed IZS psychologists during the early care of persons affected by MU? The chapter Discussion contains a more detailed analysis of results. During the research performance, other not formulated questions occurred concerning not completely clear or not defined border between the psychological and psychosocial aid which the thesis tries to determine. It may be stated in the end that the research questions were answered in the practical part of thesis. The research questions were formulated in such a way that the answers on them represent the base for SWOT analysis of the system of providing psychological aid by IZS components. I believe for this reason, it may be utilized not only for study purposes.

Finalmente são destacadas contribuições e desafios para o planejamento, a gestão e a sustentação clínica dos serviços públicos de saúde mental encarregados de dar resposta à crise / Abstract: This is a multicenter study, developed in the cities of Rio de Janeiro / RJ, Salvador / BA and Campinas / SP. We aim to contribute to the planning, management and clinical support of a network of mental health services from the understanding of the subjective experience of the crisis on people diagnosed with schizophrenic spectrum disorder, in order to respond to these situations. The methodology is qualitative, based on the Philosophical Hermeneutics of Hans-Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur's Critical Hermeneutics. Participant observation in Psychosocial Care Centers and focus groups with users of such services was the main tools for building material field. Our findings suggest that crisis interventions are different in the experience of patients at psychiatric hospitals and Psychosocial Care Centers. Also different are the strategies implemented by them to anticipate and / or deal with this difficult moment. Finally are highlighted contributions and challenges for the planning, management and clinical support of public mental health services responsible for crisis interventions / Doutorado / Saude Coletiva / Doutor em Saude Coletiva
