Analýza sezónnosti v českém stavebnictví / Analysis of Seasonality in the Czech Construction

Šimpach, Ondřej January 2010 (has links)
The output of the National economy of the Czech Republic is conditioned by a sum of important factors. There are sectors, which increased power during the last two decades, mainly due to expansion of modern technologies and knowledge workers. One of this is Construction. Construction is specific to its position in the economy and in particular is characterized by the greatest seasonality ever. However, this is not a problem for statistical analysis, rather a benefit. Modern approaches allow us to analyze seasonal fluctuations. From selected data we are able to construct evolutionary forecasts. The work will be performed for the most important indicators in the Czech Construction. The outcome of the paper will be conditional forecasts of these indicators. It will also make analyze of the relationship between these indicators and other variables that might affected it. The work is practical application of stochastic modeling approach by Box and Jenkins, augmented by more modern approaches, such as verification of Granger causality and co-integration and testing of seasonal unit roots by Hylleberg et al.

Mihoková, Andrea January 2010 (has links)
The contribution of diploma thesis is to clarify what the logistics center actually is, its function, role, providing services and bringing benefits not only to economic but also non-economic entities in its vicinity. Start of construction of logistics centers occurred in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at different times, which could be caused by many different factors, but we can simply say that the construction was started with the arrival of foreign investors in the market and lack of storage and distribution network here in the meantime occurring. Central European market is still due to relatively cheap labor attractive place for the construction of logistics centers for investors, because of this there is still the ongoing construction. Market Characteristics of Czech Republic and Slovakia is primarily focused on describing the situation in both markets, layout of logistics centers in countries and also the performance of developers operating in the market. Development of the construction of logistics centers in both markets can be divided roughly into three periods-the pre-crisis known as boom years, a period of financial crisis and post-crisis period marked as the revival phase.

Lanča, Adam January 2010 (has links)
This diploma thesis is about intercultural communication and is focusing on communication between Czechs and Germans. Its aim is to discover potential cultural differences between Czech Republic and Germany and to analyse the extent to which they influence Czech-German communication and cooperation. While the first three chapters provide the theoretical background, the fourth chapter applies the theory to the particular context of Czech Republic and Germany. It focuses on Czech-German intercultural communication and examines communication between Czechs and Germans in transnational companies. Furthermore, it analyses Hofstede's indexes between Czech Republic and Germany and compares Czech and German cultural standards. Although the cultural differences are relatively small, their consequences should not be underestimated.
