Analýza stoje a chůze s využitím ZEBRIS FDM-T systému u pacientů se skoliózou / Stance and gait analysis using ZEBRIS FDM-T System in patients with scoliosis

Bulánová, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issue of walking and standing in patients with a scoliosis. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes current knowledge of scoliosis, its classification, etiology, pathogenesis and risk factors of the curve progression. Then the most often changes of the stand and gait stereotype and their main causes are discussed. Goal of the practical part was to identify the difference between particular parameters of gait in an experimental group of patients with scoliosis and a control group of healthy individuals. The examination was performed via the dynamic plantography method using the Zebris FDM-T System. 19 probands with scoliosis aged 8 - 19 and a control group of 19 orthopedically healthy patients in a corresponding age distribution have been selected for the study. The results did not provide any statistically significant difference on a significance level p=0,05. However, there were clear differences between the groups referring to bigger asymmetries in stance and gait stereotype in the scoliosis patients group. Since even in a scientific literature there is a difference in opinion on this issue, more research might be necessary for the exact evaluation of the influence of scoliosis on the stance and gait stereotype.

Parametry sítí FTTx - kvalita služeb / Parameters of FTTx networks - Quality of services

Winkler, Aleš January 2012 (has links)
The main subject of this diploma thesis is to make a proposal to improve the optical access network for the transmission of Triple play services. I would here to the reader clarify method of proposal of optical network. There are described the kinds of optical access networks with parameters, for which we must look by their construction. There are described the modern methods of construction optical network too. In the theoretical part are discussed used architecture of networks too. I met here known standards, which I compared for big importance by their choice. A reason of construction of optical network are services known like Triple play. These services together with their problems and parameters are here discussed too. At the end of theoretical part I listed here measuring method for getting negative attribute distorting the led signal. In practical part the locality witch use the optical signal as the source of information is ordered. These network use unfit connections and has less possibilities than usual and this is the reason, why is the network not able to supply Triple play in requested quality. At first the analysis of ordered network was needed. Situation was complicated by the fact, that it has been prohibited entrance to me. The structure of network and network parts was known and documented by me. I made the proposals to improve this network in practical part. By the first proposal remained original kind of access network FTTB, but used new parts with higher performance. By the second proposal I made the network FTTH, by which it was possible to use the last haul optical cables with treatment and using new elements. It was needed to create solution by flat units. The resulting proposals are here evaluated, compared and cost evaluated. For rejection of access to optical network I did not make measuring, so I made simulation for variant FTTH for getting some parameters negative acting transmission.

Role genu pro FTO v genetické determinaci "civilizačních" onemocnění / Role of the FTO gene in the genetic determination of common multifactorial diseases

Dlouhá, Dana January 2014 (has links)
Obesity is a risk factor for development of cardiovascular disease, diabetes type 2 and some cancers. Newly detected genetic risk factor for body weight is the FTO gene ("fat mass and obesity associated"). The aim of this thesis was determine 1) whether the presence of risk alleles correlate with BMI in Czech population and to determine 2) whether there is an association between variants in the FTO gene and risk of myocardial infarction/ acute coronary syndrome (MI/ ACS), 3) renal failure (ESRD), or 4) incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC). We analyzed polymorphisms rs17817449 (first intron) and rs17818902 (3rd intron) using by PCR-RFLP and then also RT PCR. We found an association of the first intron variant (but not the 3rd one) and BMI in Czech control population. We have detected an association of 1st intron SNP and BMI changes during the intervention study in obese children, but not in obese females. We found a correlation between the risk allele and increased risk of ACS (OR 1.49) in patients with MI. In patients with ESRD was detected association between the risk allele and the risk of disease (OR 1.37). We didn't confirmed the association between rs17817449 and the development of CRC. Representative selected groups of the Czech populations "MONICA" and "HAPPIE" were used as controls. One...

Vliv individuálních vlastností samců páskovce kroužkovaného (Cordulegaster boltonii) na jejich epigamní chování / Golden-ringed Dragonfly (Cordulegaster boltonii): Effect of individual male characteristics on their epigamic behavior

Rohlíková, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
My study researches the individual male characteristics of Cordulegaster boltonii in relation to their epigamic behavior. The first part of this study analyzes the relations of the measured characteristics (length and height of the wing, wings area, body weight, age), in the second part I assess their possible effect on the epigamic behavior of males of Cordulegaster boltonii, specifically how they affect the intensity of searching for females. Males of this species perform distinctive scanning flights over a stream to find an ovipositing female to mate with her. I used individually marked males to quantify their performance which can be interpreted as reproductive success because more active males are more likely to meet and mate females. My work includes 3 methods of evaluating activity. The first is based on the actual number of flights, the second on the average daily order of the males (based on the number of flights in days when the males have been seen). The third method combines the average daily order with number of days when the males could be seen. In the second part of the study I evaluate the effect of the above-mentioned individual characteristics on the flight activity of males. The outcome of the GLM indicates that the only characteristic with significant effect is the age of the...

Hodnocení parametrů plodnosti prasnic ve vybraném chovu

MICHŇOVÁ, Iveta January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to analyse the reproduction performance of sows achieved in selected breed. In the reporting period were on average born 12.6 total-born piglets, of which 11.7 live-born piglets. The highest number of live-born piglets was born of hybrid combination sows (CLWCL)CLW, 12.0?3.1; compared with sows CLWCL (11.8 ? 3.0) and CLW (11.6 ? 3.2). The most of live-born piglets were demonstrated from 3rd and 4th parity (12.6 ? 3.1 and 12.5 ? 3.1). Gilts at the age of first mating at 230 to 250 days, reached a higher number of live-born piglets (9.9 ? 2.8) compared to gilts with the age of first mating to 229 days (9.5 ? 2.5). Difference of 0.4 piglet was statistically highly significant. Sows with gestation length to 114 days had 1.3 piglets more (12.0 ? 3.1) than sows with gestation length 115 days or more (10.7 ? 3.1). Difference of 1.3 piglets was statistically highly significant. Sows weaning-to-conception interval within 4 days showed a higher number of live-born piglets (12.3 ? 3.0) than sows with 5 days or longer (11.4 ? 2.9). Difference of 0.9 piglet was statistically highly significant. Effect of farrowing interval (132145, 146160 and 161200 days) on the number of live-born piglets (12.1 ? 3.1; 12.2 ? 3.1 and 12.2 ? 3.2) was not statistically significant.

Využití simulačních metod v rozmnožovacích chovech prasat / Use of simulation methods in pig breeding

MARINOV, Lukáš January 2012 (has links)
The target of this diploma work was to find and apply the most effective simulation model of pig breeding at particular company. Partial goal of this work was to identify the breeding technologies and simulation methods. The data was elaborated in program Microsoft Office Excel 2010 and the simulation model was compiled in @RISK 5.5 software. After the application of simulation model I found out, that in the chosen company was landrase pig race getting higher profitability than bílé ušlechtilé pig race. Another result points to that the shorter time of weaning of piglets has positive influence at company profitability. On the base of this results was recommended to the company to rise up the part of landrase pig race and to short the time of weaning of piglets. There was also generated the curved line of sow´s profitability in it´s individual litters, which helps to culling of sows and to integration of sows into the herd.

Vývoj základních tělesných rozměrů kojených dětí ve věku od narození do 6 měsíců. / The Development of the Fundamental Body Measurements of Infants 0-6 old.

ANDRLOVÁ, Tereza January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis is devoted to the development of body measurements of children 0 to 6 months old being exclusively breastfed until the age of four months and then breastfed with appropriate complementary food. The anthropometrical parameters were the body length, the body weight and the head circumference. The results are shown separately for girls and boys in tables and graphs. The data were compared to the previous surveys of the Czech children. Student's t-test and Z- score were used for comparison. Selected somatic and other characteristics obtained by a questionnaire were taken into the study. The Life Satisfaction Questionnaire was used to evaluate the welfare of primiparas. The breastfed children do not reach lower average values of body length and weight than children of the reference survey CAV, 2001 (Vignerová et al., 2005) and Bláha a kol., 2001 (Bláha et al., 2010) in general. Body lenght, body weight and head circumference of boys and girls until the age of one month positively correlates with the gestation age of an infant. Life satisfaction of primiparas is mostly influenced by financial situation, marriage, partnership and sexuality. Life satisfaction of primiparas from our survey correlates statistically significantly with their health and satisfaction with marriage and partnership. The collected somatic data of infants could be used as a part of the standards for contemporary population of breastfed infants.

Substantivní fráze v psaném a mluveném akademickém diskurzu / The noun phrase in written and spoken academic discourse

Sládečka, Dušan January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis is concerned with exploring the differences between the noun phrases in written and spoken academic monologue, focussing on the length of the phrase, its internal complexity and syntactic functions. In the theoretical part of the study, the noun phrase, its constituents, structure and usage are introduced. The noun phrase is introduced as one of the means of complex condensation. The basic characteristics of written and spoken academic language are introduced as well. The practical part of the study is a detailed analysis of 210 noun phrases. The written sample is collected from selected academic articles, whereas the sample of spoken lecture is collected from the lecture database of the BASE corpus. Since the study focuses on two different forms of language, the material is analysed for each of them separately and the results are subsequently compared in the final part of each subsection. The hypothesis of the thesis is that the written sample contains noun phrases with more complex modification, whereas the spoken sample contains more simple noun phrases and more clausal modification. The hypothesis was, for the most part, confirmed.

Perspektivy mladých lidí v kontextu trhu práce / Prospects of Youngle People on the Labour Market

Komínková, Eva January 2017 (has links)
Family and reproductive behaviour shapes the outline of Czech Republic. Regime changes after 1989 certainly influenced the whole society. Critical changes in demographic behaviour need to be viewed in context of economic, social and cumtural changes in society. The purpose of this thesis is to explore perspectives of young adults, with an emphasis on exploring links between demographic behavious and on job market between 1989 and 2015. Thus this thesis should provide an answer to a question on how signifikance of influence of e.g. parenthood on career paths of youg people. To achieve this target, we used mainly publicly available data provided by Czech Statistical Bureau, interchangeably with data from Eurostat and basic statistical analysis.

Analýza kohortní úmrtnosti ve vysokých věcích / The analysis of cohort mortality at old aged people

Horníková, Andrea January 2016 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to find patterns trends and assumptions for mortality vs. age prediction. Based on the analysis of trends in the already extinct cohorts, the most suitable models for estimating the future development of mortality among surviving cohorts are selected. This thesis compares real data extinct cohorts with balanced data Gompertz-Makehamovy function. The research and analysis is focused on the specifics of cohort mortality from the age of 90. The last part of this thesis illustrates comparison between real data of extinct cohorts with DeRaS model outputs. The selection of Kannisto and Thatcher as the optimal model is presented in the form of graphical outputs indicating the cohort life expectancy of men and women aged 90 years.
