Perioperativ omvårdnad

Hellichius, Anette, Jacobsson, Carina January 2008 (has links)
Perioperative nursing is the nursing acts and nursing activities which are made by an anaesthetic- and operation nurse during the pre-, intra- and post operative phases in connection with a patient’s operation. The purpose with the study was to show the patients’ experiences of perioperative nursing aiming the periopera-tive dialoguemodel. The research process was inspired by Goodman’s seven steps and the method used was a literature study which was based on ten scientific arti-cles. As a theoretical setting Orlando’s nursing theory has been used. The result showed that when the perioperative nursing was organized as a perioperative dia-loguemodel the patients experienced that among others the nurse had ample time for them’ that the operation was something which they would undertake together and the nurse viewed the patient as a resource. The result also indicated that health in the perioperative dialogue meant a community in a continuous whole true dialogue.
