Podnikatelský plán coworkingového centra / Business plan of the coworking center

Jedličková, Kristýna January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of shared economy and describes it both on a wide scale and in specific sectors of its use in the social and health sphere. This trend inspired the introduction of a co-working concept to the market which is also described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The theoretical framework of the diploma thesis follows the practical part consisting of interviews with the founder of a co-working centre in Finland, with the executive director of a co-working centre in the Czech Republic, and with two users who have experience with this service in our country and abroad. Qualitative data from semi- structured interviews was a source in the creation of a business plan for the co-working centre, which is the aim of the diploma thesis. At the end of the diploma thesis, there is a shortened methodological guideline for establishing a co-working space. Keywords: shared economy, sharing, co-working, digitization, health and social services, desk

Ahlén, Victoria, Hartsö, Sara January 2020 (has links)
Background and research issue: Digitization has changed the conditions for how an effective audit can or should be carried out. Many researchers argue that the development and use of technologies affect the work of the auditor in the audit process. There are also studies that indicate that the application of technical solutions cuts to a greater extent in large agencies than in small agencies.  Purpose: The purpose of this study is to create an understanding of how digitalisation has changed the auditor's work during the audit process and to identify the differences between large and small audit firms when it comes to digitalisation in audit.  Method: This study is based on a qualitative method in the form of semi-structured interviews with authorized auditors.  Framework: The framework consists of theories and models found in the audit research, basic concepts and previous research.  Empiricism: The empirical data consist of material collected from eleven interviews.  Results: The use of data analysis has enabled the auditors to gain a better understanding of the audited company. Today, a deeper analysis can be performed on a large amount of data and it is also possible to review all material and a complete set of data will be the subject of the selection. The result of the study also indicates that larger firms are developing their own digital systems.

Ljungman, Emma January 2020 (has links)
The present work examines the attitude of pensioners in relation to today's digitizing. A variety of digital devices have been added and have become part of many people's everyday lives. The main purpose of the present work is to investigate how a number of pensioners relate to today's digitization. A qualitative method was considered to be best suited for the job and six semi-structured interviews were conducted with pensioners. The gathered empirical evidence showed that pensioners relate to today's digitizing in different ways, both positive and negative approaches. There was also a need for further research in the field of digitizing, as it is being developed at a regular basis.

Nordquist, Philip, Viklund, David January 2022 (has links)
To keep up with digitalisation and to take into account the needs and interests of society, a high level of digital maturity is needed. Digital maturity is central to keeping businesses current and efficient. The study highlights what digital maturity is and through a case study and semi-structured interviews explains and examines the digital maturity of a municipality in Sweden. The study uses the definition of digital maturity in line with Kane et al. (2015) who describe the existence of a clear digitalisation strategy, leadership and a culture that promotes change. The study aims to investigate the digital maturity of a medium-sized Swedish municipality. The results of the study are analysed using a conceptual framework based on previous research and discussed against research and theories. The results of the study show that there is partial digital maturity in the municipality but that there is no defined strategy that explains the way there and is communicated throughout the organization. The study also shows that the investigated unit has a lot of work in progress when it comes to digitisation.

VISK 7 – National Funding Mechanism for the digitization and long-term preservation of the newspapers endangered by the degradation of the paper: Looking back over more than 15 years of the cooperation of the Czech libraries

Foltýn, Tomáš 28 September 2017 (has links)
At the beginning of the year 2000 new Czech funding mechanism for the development of the libraries was established by the Czech Government. Probably neither one from past politicians, nor librarians, did expect those days, that this funding program would be still open in 2018 and would be more and more important for many fields of librarianship, including the preservation and digitization of newspapers endangered by the degradation of the paper. Such a long time of more than 15 years is great opportunity to evaluate all the benefits and changes of the supported activities, practices and impacts of the program. The aim of this paper is to provide the information about the more than 15 years history of the VISK 7 funding mechanism, describe achieved results and benefits, and share the reached best practices including the main developed open-source tools.

Digitized newspapers and digital research: What is the library‘s role?

Garcés, Juan, Meyer, Julia 26 October 2017 (has links)
Mass-digitised newspapers offer researchers, academic and non-academic, a readily-accessible and invaluable resource for all sorts of historical enquiries. Research of print-medium newspapers, even as reproduced as microfiche or similar formats, traditionally entails the relatively close reading of individual articles, in order to extrapolate the information pertinent to the research question pursued. The re-medialisation of historical print newspapers into digital format, however, opens up new analytical avenues that allow the methodologically-savvy researcher to extrapolate information across a large number of texts with the help of approaches developed for text mining and information retrieval. The question for which this paper will present possible answers is: how can libraries that hold digitised newspaper collections support these distant reading-approaches? In answering that question, the paper will focus on three interlinked areas with potential roles for libraries and present best practice examples. These areas are (1) technical infrastructure, (2) methodological knowhow and (3) analytical tools: 1. Most research libraries have accepted their key role in providing a digital research infrastructure and are increasingly engaged in actively developing the constituent parts of said infrastructure. Researchers applying distant reading approaches, which ideally need open access to the entire data set in order to apply its approaches rather than curated interfaces, are still not part of the main vision. 2. Few historians are trained in text mining, information retrieval and related approaches. It will be argued that libraries have not only a responsibility to give access to research-relevant digital data but also to provide competent consultation and teaching in analytical methods suitable to and made possible by the digital medium. 3. The final area encompasses the provision of tools that implement standard methods on the newspaper corpora. This area might be one where libraries focus on the re-use of already existing tools rather than own developments.
