The diploma thesis is divided into two basic topics, in which it deals in a brief outline with the origin and development of confessional and ecclesiastical law in general and with development and mutual relation between confessional and ecclesiastical law in the territory of Czech lands since the arrival of the Cyril and Methodius until the establishment of the Czechoslovak Church. Further on it presents the timeline of sources of the "First" Constitution of the Czechoslovak Church (Ústava Církve československé). These sources are divided into the periods before and after the establishment of the Czechoslovak Church. Les espaces fortifiés médiévaux du Velay (diocèse médiéval du Puy-en-Velay), sont analysés dans leur constitution et leur utilisation. L’enquête concerne un corpus de sites castraux, bourgs fortifiés, maisons fortes, prieurés et églises fortifiées de 145 communes situées en majorité dans le département de la Haute-Loire (France- Auvergne). Les changements que ces espaces fortifiés opèrent sur la période XIIIe-XVe s. sont mis en avant : morphologie spatiale et choix d’occupation des espaces, évolution de l’habitat individuel seigneurial et des enceintes en contexte rural et urbain. L’ensemble est documenté par des textes qui indique la nature des relations entre les différents groupes sociaux, acteurs de la construction du territoire fortifié : relations entre les seigneurs et l’évêque du Puy ou le roi, relations entre les seigneurs et les communautés urbaines ou rurales, émergence de nouveaux groupes sociaux (la petite noblesse). L’accent est mis sur l’articulation de ces espaces et le rapport social et symbolique que chacun des groupes sociaux entretient avec la fortification. Les intentions de dominations et les résistances de chacun des groupes sociaux sont ainsi mis en évidence par l’analyse du parcellaire, des édifices et de la forme de la fortification. / The fortified medieval areas of the Velay (medieval diocese of Puy-en-Velay) are analysed in their constitution and their use. The survey concerns a corpus of castle sites, fortified towns, fortified houses, priories and fortified churches in 145 communes, mostly in the department of Haute-Loire (France-Auvergne). The changes that these fortified spaces operate during the 13th-15th centuries are highlighted: spatial morphology and choices of occupancy of these areas, evolution of individual seigneurial habitats and enclosures in rural and urban context. The nature of the relations between the different social groups building this fortified territory is mainly documented by texts : relationships between the lords and the bishop of Le Puy or the king, relationships between the lords and the urban or rural communities, emergence of new social groups (the small gentry). The purpose focuses on the articulation of these areas and the social and symbolic relationships that each of the social groups has with fortifications. Thus, the intentions of domination and the resistance of each of the medieval social groups are revealed by analysing the plots, the buildings and the form of the fortification

Sexist socialisation in the church starts from childhood. The Sunday school, the Christian
community and parents all play a role in transmitting sexist values to children. Sexism is
present in the interpretation, use and teaching of scripture as well as the hierarchy, roles,
structures, language, worship and symbols of the church. These subconsciously influence
children. People's faith may be shaken when the sexist nature of some of these beliefs is
exposed. Sexist socialisation is detrimental as the growth and witness of the church may be
stunted. Hence there is a need to develop non-sexist Christian education. Insights and tools
from feminist theology help in this programme. The conclusions are tentative as such a

Previous issue date: 2008 / The present work is devoted to the historical study on the memoirs around Expedite Talent Lopes and priest Hosana of Siqueira and Silva. Expedite talent was bishop of Garanhuns-Pernambuco. In 1957, it was murdered by priest Hosana with three revolver shots. The crime generated narratives. He/she/you founded multiple memoirs. Those narrative plots give dinamicidade to the past. The concern is not simply to explain the a lot of memoirs on the crime, but to think as those memoirs was counted and recounted by the letters and for the speech of the depoentes that, as those memories, they built and they build senses that evidence specific papers of villainous (I murder) and hero (example). to Notice as the crime is narrated and your multiple variations are here the objective looked for. / O presente trabalho dedica-se ao estudo histórico sobre as memórias em torno de dom Expedito Lopes e padre Hosana de Siqueira e Silva. Dom Expedito era bispo de Garanhuns-Pernambuco. Em 1957, foi assassinado por padre Hosana com três tiros de revólver. O crime gerou narrativas. Fundou memórias múltiplas. Essas tramas narrativas dão dinamicidade ao passado. A preocupação não é simplesmente explicar as muitas memórias sobre o crime, mas pensar como essas memórias foram contadas e recontadas pelas letras e pela fala dos depoentes que, como essas lembranças, construíram e constroem sentidos que evidenciam papéis específicos de vilão (assassino) e herói (exemplo). Perceber como o crime é narrado e suas múltiplas variações é o objetivo aqui buscado.

Au Xe siècle, l’Eglise savoyarde se trouve dans une situation catastrophique. Désorganisé par les différentes invasions, le clergé séculier peine à se redresser. Pour remédier à cette situation, l’épiscopat décide l’installation de moines venus des grandes abbayes. C’est ainsi que l’on note l’apparition de nombreux prieurés sur les terres diocésaines. Ces maisons religieuses s’installent durablement et prennent une place importante dans la vie des paroisses qui les accueillent. Leurs destins diffèrent, mais certains prieurés réguliers sont toujours conventuels à l’époque moderne. Les différents évêques en dénombrent cinq, dont quatre sont fondés autour du Xe siècle. Il s’agit des prieurés de Bellevaux en Bauges, de Peillonnex, de Talloires et de Contamine. Cette étude porte sur le rôle que jouent ces institutions dans le contexte de la Contre-Réforme catholique, instaurée dans le diocèse au cours des dernières décennies du XVIe siècle. Elle s’articule autour de trois grandes parties. La première retrace l’évolution des prieurés depuis leur fondation jusqu’à l’instauration de la Réforme à Genève. La seconde partie relate l’histoire des différents monastères au cours de trois siècles de l’Ancien Régime. La troisième et dernière partie est plus thématique. Elle tente de définir la place qu’occupent les prieurés conventuels dans la vie politique, religieuse et économique du diocèse de Genève-Annecy aux XVIe, XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. / In the 10th century, the Church from Savoy is in a very poor state. Weakened by various invasions, the secular clergy struggles to recover. Monks from major abbeys are sent by the episcopate influencing the creation of priories on the diocesan land. These religious houses settle permanently and play an important role in the life of the parishes hosting them. While regular priories had to face different fates, some of them are still conventual in the modern era. The different bishops count five conventual priories, but only four of these were founded around the 10th century. These are the priories of Bellevaux en Bauges, Peillonnex, Talloires and Contamine. This study focuses on the role of these institutions in the context of the Catholic Reformation introduced in the diocese during the last decades of the 16th century. The study is based on three main points. The first point traces back the evolution of the priories from their foundation until the introduction of the Reform movement in Geneva. The second part concentrates on the story of the monasteries over three centuries under the Ancien Regime. The last part is more thematic as it outlines how the conventual priories influence the political, religious and economic life of the Annecy-Geneva's diocese in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.

L’attention se focalise dans notre thèse sur la question de savoir comment la Communion anglicane en général, et l’Église anglicane de la RDC et celle d’Angola, en particulier, s’approprient des résolutions et des recommandations qui résultent de la TEAM Conférence. Le concept de la pauvreté est à l'origine de tous les maux dont souffrent les Églises dans le Sud. De nos jours, un certain nombre d'initiatives missionnaires qui exhibent les signes de piété cachent toujours une motivation liée à l’argent. Les OMD érigent la pauvreté dans toutes ses dimensions comme un défi majeur, auquel doit faire face l'humanité, un rideau de fer à briser pour le développement des nations du Sud. Vu l’ampleur de la pauvreté qui, en dépit de multiple mesures et solutions envisagées, continue de croire, nous nous rendons vite compte que c'est l’Africain lui-même, selon notre avis, qui est l’origine de la misère de son pays et de son continent. On peut en arriver à la prise de nombreuses mesures et à faire l’économie de différents facteurs pour la sortie de crise, mais le tout premier réside dans l’Homme africain lui-même. Le Sud est un peuple qui est, avant tout, à la merci des puissants internes. On assiste à la déroute de l’intelligence, à la perte de la raison et de l’autonomie de la part d'un certain nombre de politiques africains, mettant sur pied des institutions amputées de toute capacité de faire des choix libres et judicieux, œuvrant en priorité pour la «politique du ventre». / The attention is focused in our thesis on the question of how the Anglican communion in general, and the Anglican Churches of Angola and RDC in particular, have appropriated resolutions and recommandations resulting from the TEAM Conference. The concept of "poverty" in the broad sense is the root of all the problems plaguing societies and the churches of the South. Nowadays, a certain number of missionary and pastoral initiatives which appear to be based purely on piety always have unexpressed motives which have to do with the pursuit of personal material interests. The emphasis has always been placed on economic growth as a necessary factor which can be used for raising the standard of living of the poor in the South. However, there are many States that have experienced considerable economic growth, like Angola, but the income of the poor class increases so unbalanced and uneven, and stlll is, for many famillies, unsatisfactory. The Millennium Declaration declared poverty in all its dimensions to be the main challenge facing humanity, an iron curtain which needed to be breached for the development of Southem Nations. Given the extent of poverty which, despite multiple routes taken and solutions envisaged, continues to grow, we quickly realize that it is only the African who is, in our opinion, the origin of the misery of his country and his continent. Therefore, we can continue to consider many measures and the economy of different factors to end the crisis, but the main factor is the African man himself. The people of the South are, above all, at the mercy of internal forces. We are witnessing the defeat of intelligence, the loss of reason and autonomy on the part of a number of African policies, creating institutions cut off from all ability to make free and wise choices, working as a priority for the "politics of the belly".

In my thesis I tried to look into the issue of state property settlement with churches. This issue stirs public opinion in our society since the mid-nineties. The first chapter endeavours to discover the fundamental principles of the performance of the church in the past. Covering from property acquisition, through its management to the semantic role of property in general. Last but not least, it tries to describe the economic situation of the largest church in Czech Republic - Roman Catholic. The second part seeks to describe the events of nationalization of church property in February 1948, under the applicable legislation from that period. It also gives some insight into other forms of expropriation. The third chapter explore insight into the legislative process of state property settlement with churches and discusses the pros and cons of the problem in general. The fourth and fifth chapter deals with the theoretical question of valuation, valuation methods or valuation regulations. The final section summarizes the control mechanisms, which will protect the recovered property from depreciation in value.

Mots-clés : Eglise modèles ecclésiale , activités pastorales. / Este trabalho investigou a presença da Igreja Católica Apostólica Romana na Região da Mata Sul de Pernambuco, através da Diocese de Palmares, no período de 1962 a 2000, justamente quando aquela Igreja particular completa trinta e oito anos de ação pastoral em meio à realidade canavieira. A pesquisa analisou a instalação daquela Igreja no contexto geral da Igreja Católica, seus primeiros passos - com o primeiro bispo - D. Acácio Rodrigues Alves que, logo após assumir a diocese, viajou a Roma, a fim de participar do Concílio Vaticano II. Depois foi vista toda a caminhada da instituição no período da ditadura militar e na implantação das diretrizes do Vaticano II. Foram aprofundadas as ações desta instituição que assumiu como prioridade a evangelização do homem do campo e a implantação das orientações do Concílio. Procuramos mostrar como a Diocese não limitou seu trabalho ao campo religioso, mas como ela interferiu, condicionou e participou ativamente de muitos momentos fortes da região, principalmente no que diz respeito aos direitos dos
trabalhadores rurais. Concluímos destacando que a Diocese de Palmares ainda hoje se apresenta como instituição forte no contexto social da região.

Education for Life (EFLP) run by the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). The programme seeks to
encourage behaviour changes as a viable approach for the prevention of HIV and AIDS through
education. EFLP is faith-based and run by the RCC as one of the programmes in RCC pastoral
mission activities to mitigating the HIV and AIDS epidemic.
EFLP aims at preventing HIV and AIDs through creating awareness of human values in the context
of the gospel, facts about HIV and AIDs and promoting behaviour change, particularly among the
youth. The programme is youth-led, peer-driven and peer support based. The researcher examines
EFLP in Sterkspruit Parish from 2003 to 2013 to assess whether EFLP was effective in bringing about
preventative sexual behaviour, as a result of participants in the programme changing attitudes and
values and acquiring life skills.
RCC and many Christian churches promote behavioural intervention abstinence, fidelity within
marriage, counselling and delaying sexual debut and partner reduction. Behavioural change
programmes have, however, not been without controversies.
A qualitative research method was followed to investigate the impact of EFLP. Data were obtained
and tape-recorded during one-on-one interviews of 25 youth participants. The researcher
employed the theory of reasoned action to examine the data.
Analysis of data revealed that the mission of the church could be achieved through social
transformation in the lives of the youth, especially behavioural change concerning HIV and AIDS.
It also showed that a single preventative approach should not be taken to the exclusion of others
in the prevention of HIV and AIDs. The study recommends combining different approaches,

Medeltida medialitet : En studie om interaktionen mellan liturgi och kyrkorum i Ärentuna kyrka / Medieval Mediality : A study on the Interaction between Liturgy and Church Architecture in Ärentuna churchKarlsson, Cecilia January 2023 (has links)
The aim of this study is to examine intangible aspects of medieval church architecture from an art historical perspective, by using the theoretical frameworks of the theologist Alf Härdelin’s theory on multidimensionality and the philosopher of languages John Langshaw Austin’s theory on speech acts and performativity. It studies the relationship between church architecture and liturgy during the 15th century. This case study’s main material is the Upland parish church Ärentuna and the liturgical sources Missale Upsalense novum (1513) and the devotional book Siælinna thrøst (15th century). The interior of the church has been examined to understand how the church interior may have been furnished during the 15th century. During the 15th century the church had many more altars and devotion pictures than what one can see in the current furnishings of the church. There is a narratological succession in the construction of the building, as well as the iconographical motifs, from West to East, thus the meaning of it becomes increasingly sacred. In that way, the construction of the building, as well as the wall paintings converses, with the liturgy – which has its core in the choir. When laypeople entered the sacred space of the church, they perceived things in a specific order, which creates a sense of order and cohesion within the liturgy. The study found that liturgy produces meaning in the church architecture by giving a visual expression to faith through images. Through performative speech acts found in the liturgy, a multidimensional experience is created by the (theological) fact of Christ's presence in the church. The nave's paintings enhance the visitor’s experience of the church interior as an eternal heavenly presence with motifs such as the Seven days of Creation, the Ten Commandments, the Passion of Christ and finally the Last Judgment.
