Faktory ovlivňující výdaje na dávky nemocenské v ČR

Korbičková, Andrea January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is dedicated to an analysis of factors influencing the amount of paid sickness benefits in the Czech Republic. In the literature review, potential factors influencing the above mentioned dependent variable are outlined based on scientific articles and publications. Using a regression analysis, all these explanatory variables are verified and factors really influencing the amount of paid sickness benefits in the Czech Republic are identified. These variables are quantified using a method of least squares. In the practical part of the thesis, time series of Expenditures on sickness insurance benefits and Income from insurance and associated payments for the sickness insurance are examined by a qualitative decomposition method. For both these time series, predictions for four upcoming quarters (whole 2017) are created. Based on an analysis of these two time series, a balance of income and expenditures is created and recommendations for the Ministry of Social Affairs are defined. From the results gathered in the practical part, consequences are drawn in the discussion. These serve as a basis for solutions and measures for employers to save labor costs and to achieve an efficient human resource management. All analyses in this thesis are conducted from quarterly data from 2004 till 2016.

Zhodnocení vlivu podmínek stanoviště a období těžby na vlastnoti dřeva smrku

Zlámal, Jan January 2019 (has links)
Diploma thesis, Mendel University in Brno, 2019 This thesis deals with some factors influencing the physical and mechanical properties of Norway spruce wood (Picea abies L. (H. Karst)), mainly the effect of felling time and wood processing on physical and mechanical properties. This thesis analyzes data from standing trees, lying logs and worked beams. The beams were processed in four different ways, by hewing, standard cutting, hewing from dipped logs, hewing and subsequent dipping. Felling of trees for the production of these beams was performed in winter, spring and summer. Most of the felling operations were carried out with respect to the moon phase, always the first and second quarters of the month phase. The results of experimental measurements are arranged and statistically evaluated. Also the thesis summarizes the findings from literature of suitable spruce habitats for the selection of quality wood raw material.

Alternative fuels as an instrument of CSR in shipping industry: A case study of sustainability and profitability of operating LNG powered vessels

Dittrich, Ivo January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis formulates recommendations for managerial decision making while acquiring new vessels. It analyses by means of a quantitative research the possible fuel cost savings achievable by running IFO and LNG powered vessels, their benefits and drawbacks in terms of economical, environmental and sociolog-ical aspects. Subsequently, Payback Periods and IRR of aforementioned fuel types are calculated and questionnaire data gathered. Hypotheses for the questionnaire research are statistically tested and reveal a relation between customers attitudes to shipping companies and their willingness to pay more for the same service with better CSR strategy. The quantitative research shows LNG as the best fuel option for shipping companies, offering benefits in all three pillars of CSR.

Počátek českých oppid: Role Středomoří a urbanisační procesy v evropské době železné / The origins of Bohemian Oppida: The Role of the Mediterranean and the Urbanisation processes in the European Iron Age

Kysela, Jan January 2013 (has links)
The presented study analyses on the example of Bohemia the question in what extent the creation of oppida (and more broadly the cultural transformation of the Transalpine world in the recent La Tène period) were influenced by Mediterranean impulses and to what extent they may be on the other hand considered as a local phenomenon. The historical and chronological background are studied in detail, the question itself is approached by an analysis of the corpus of Mediterranean imports in central Europe intended to evaluate the role of Bohemia (within the central European context) in the contacts with the Mediterranean. In the concluding chapter the oppida and their settlement systems are confronted with the Mediterranean towns. The contacts with the Mediterranean turn out to have been constant and significant for the Transalpine word, the oppida, however, seem to be a largely local phenomenon. Ekonomické souvislosti alternativních výrobních procesů oranžových vín

Eliáš, Patrik January 2020 (has links)
Eliáš, P. Economic context of alternative production processes of orange wines. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. Main goal of diploma thesis is to assess the possibilities of production of or-ange wines and to evaluate the economic context associated with their produc-tion. In this context, two production methods are considered, namely the produc-tion of orange wines in a qvevri clay pot and in a French oak barrel. The econom-ic effects are assessed by using dynamic methods of assessing the effectiveness of investments in terms of the expected return on investment and the internal rate of return of the investment. Before evaluating the efficiency of the investment, the expected cost and revenue structure of the production of orange wines is calcu-lated. The primary data required is obtained primarily through in-depth inter-views with the producers of these wines. In-depth interviews were conducted with a total of 10 orange wine producers out of a total of 30 estimated in the Czech Republic. In each of the investments a different wine production process is calculated. This ensures difference of made orange wine in the case of the qvevri or the French oak barrel, which allows for more complex conclusions and a bet-ter generalizability of the work.
