T-intersections are one of the most common places where collisions happen. An intelligent traffic mirror is one the possible solutions to reduce the accident rate. The mirror detects the situation around the intersection, process the data and provides the driver with an information, whether the situation is safe and the driver can enter the junction safely. The aim of the thesis is a feasibility study of reliable detection of non-stationary objects based on cameras. The core of the intended product – the detection algorithm – detected the object on short distance from the camera reliably but as the distance was growing, the detection quality degraded. One of the possible solutions to achieve better detection results on longer distances may be achieved by using a camera with greater zoom. Based on the example improvement proposal, the feasibility of the solution based on optical methods was finally confirmed.

The thesis deals with traffic sign detection and recongnition in the urban environment and outside the town. A precondition for implementation of the system is built-in camera, usually in a car rear-view mirror. The camera scans the scene before the vehicle. The image data are transfered to the connected PC, where the data are transformation to information and evalutations. If the sign was detected the system is visually warned the driver. For a successful goal is divided into four separate blocks. The first part is the preparing of the image data. There are color segmentation with knowledge of color combination traffic signs in Czech Republic. Second part is deals with shape detection in segmentation image. Part number three is deals with recognition of inner pictogram and its finding in the image database. The final part is the visual output of displaying founded traffic signs. The thesis has been prepader so as to ensure detection of all relevant traffic signs in three basic color combinations according to existing by Decree of Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic. The result is the source code for the program MATLAB. .

The thesis refers to the issue of road accidents and their prevention in the Czech Republic, seen as a negative phenomenon in modern society. It is divided into two relatively independent parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on a general description of traffic accident and states their main causes. Moreover, it deals with a road accident as a traumatic event having negative effects on life of involved people, especially on the human psyche. At the end of this part you can find basic principles of emergency intervention on casualties of road accidents and organizations which offer free help to road accident casualties. In the practical part of this work there is a study of road accidents that happened in the region of the Czech Republic from the point of view of their causes and the age of the driver.

The purpose of the thesis is to design new bus terminal and suggest reconstruction of a road in the street Nadrážní in town Broumov. Thesis deals with the appropriate design of arrangement of bus stops. Part of the thesis is design of reasonable width arrangement of the road in the street Nádražní. Furthermore there is a design of parking spaces for personal vehicles, design of communications for pedestrians and suggestion for appropriate usage of remaining areas.

Ethical codes of non-medical health professions focusing on ambulance service workers ABSTRACT A sharp increase of number of the codes of ethics in all fields of human activity is the trend of current ethical education. The dissertation is oriented (focuses) on the question of the necessity or the suitability of codes of ethics for ambulance services (Emergency Ambulance Services and Non- emergency patient transport services). The introductory theoretical part defines the range of medical transport professions that are the subjects of research. There are introduce the theoretical bases of healthcare professions. The historical part of the dissertation is focused on the development of a medical transport with an emphasis on ethical principles in the work of emegency and nonemergency ambulance services. The theory that the direct precursors of code of ethics can be promises, oaths, orders, statutes, instructions, recommendations and similar written or unwritten documents containing ethical principles that include challenges to help others and the demands of collegiallity, respect, honesty or virtuous life was confirmed. Road safety is a complex problem. It is influenced mainly by the driver, the vehicle and the road surface. This thesis is focused on the road surface properties and especially skid resistance that directly affect the braking distance and keeping the vehicle in the horizontal curves and thus traffic accidents. The thesis deals with the durability of pavement surface skid resistance, the type of pavement layers and aggregate polishing used in wearing course. The aim of this thesis was to develop the methodology for improvement of road surfaces skid resistance durability and implementation of functional test for their assessment.

To follow, the focus of this diploma thesis is how traffic education can be properly incorporated into the first stage of our primary school curriculum and the different possibilities how the whole subject should be taught. Theoretical part deals with traffic education as part of education and also defines the term - traffic education, the meaning and the aim of traffic education area all together with short view into traffic education concept and comparision to abroad. In this part you can also find overview of implementation and content of outputs for each grade at the first stage of primary school together with various materials which can be used in traffic education. There is prepared short functional model of traffic education lesson for each grade in accordance with RVP (framework education program) in research part. These lessons has been tried out. An important aspect of teaching model is that there is no need of speacial material and it is not time consuming. Teaching model is also commented by several teachers from various cities, types of schools and different lenth of teaching practise and supplemented by possible conection with other subjects or cross-cutting themes. Financial management of funds The theme of this thesis is analysis and evaluation of financial management of funds as a possible way of financing certain areas of public sector. The focus of this thesis is primarily on general conception of public funds, their legal basis, structure and characteristic. More specifically it deals with State funds in the Czech Republic and the analysis of the budget of particular fund and its income and expenses. Special attention is paid to the State Transport Infrastructure Fund. The text is structured into three main parts, which are then subdivided into chapters and subchapters. Brief definition of the theme, motivation for its selecting, main goals of the thesis and resources that have been used are mentioned in the introduction. The first part of the thesis deals with general characteristic of financial management of funds, discusses the basic concepts, definitions and structure of funds, followed by analysis of selected public funds on the state level, level of local self- governing units and on European level. The second part of the work analyses the management of State funds in the Czech Republic in detail. The main objective of this thesis is to answer the question of the suitable future use of Masaryk Railway Station in Prague from many aspects. The theoretical part of thesis is dealing with the history of railways in Prague and the Station. Then it is explained the principle of the integrated transport systems and the inclusion of the railways as the spinal transport for suburban transport. In the analytical part, there is briefly introduced the cause of the Station future and then this question is evaluated by three disciplines. These are methods of city logistics, urban solutions and the significance of the Station from the cultural point of view.
