Vyhodnocení lomově-mechanických parametrů betonu po vystavení vysokým teplotám / Mechanical fracture parameters of concrete after exposure to high temperatures

Bejček, Michal January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of mechanical fracture parameters of concrete after exposure to high temperatures. In the introductory theoretical part general principles of fracture mechanics with the concentration on a linear elastic fracture mechanics and non-linear fracture models for the concrete are summarized. The meaning of the three-point bending fracture test used for determination of fracture parameters is also explained. Further the influence of high temperatures on the partial components of concrete and general modeling of temperature loading is described. The practical part is concerned with the evaluation of fire experiments on the concrete panels including numerical simulations using GiD and ATENA software. The evaluation of data obtained from the three-point bending test carried out on specimens with initial stress concentrator taken from concrete panels is a main part of the diploma thesis. The values of modulus of elasticity, effective fracture toughness, work of fracture and fracture energy are determined from the measured F–d and F–CMOD diagrams after their proper corrections in the GTDiPS application. The evaluation of the selected mechanical fracture parameters was performed by StiCrack software using effective crack model and work of fracture method and DKFM_BUT software using the double-K fracture model. Finally, the attention is paid to the analysis of the obtained data.

Elektroslabé procesy v rámci efektivní polní teorie / Elektroslabé procesy v rámci efektivní polní teorie

Soukup, Petr January 2009 (has links)
Title: Electroweak processes in the framework of effective field theory Author: Petr Soukup Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Supervisor: RNDr. Karol Kampf, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: kampf@troja.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: In this thesis, we study electroweak processes within the framework of ef- fective field theory employing the approach of effective Lagrangians. We mainly focus on the decay process H → γγ. A complete set of SU(2) × U(1) invariant dimension- six operators is utilized. We present a brief introduction to GWS Standard model and dimension-six effective operators. One-loop Standard model contribution to the process of H → γγ is then evaluated, followed by calculation of tree-level and one-loop level dimension-six operators contribution to the same process. We then present a brief ge- neral summary of renormalization procedure in quantum field theory. Renormalization of performed calculations is implemented, and possible issues that may arise during renormalization of such non-renormalizable theory are also discussed. In the end, we discuss the obtained results, mainly the dependence of H → γγ decay rate on effective theory's free parameters and the scale of the new physics Λ. Focus is made on possible deviations from Standard model results. The results are plotted in charts....

Hodnocení radiační zátěže pacientů a možnost vzniku a řešení radiačních mimořádných událostí na oddělení nukleární medicíny Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s. / The evaluation of radiation burden of patients and the possibility of radiation emergence and management of emergencies at the nuclear medicine department of the Hospital České Budějovice, PLC

DAŇOVÁ, Kristína January 2019 (has links)
The aim of my thesis was to evaluate radiation consequences in patients, and to evaluate unusual occurrences stemming from radiation at the department of nuclear medicine in hospital Ceske Budejovice. In the theory part, I worked with professional literature, applicable laws and internal documentation provided by the department of nuclear medicine in hospital Ceske Budejovice Plc The thesis reacted to the need of the department of nuclear medicine (dept. NM) in hospital Ceske Budejovice to evaluate the optimisation of doses for the patients and set local diagnostic levels. Different organisations worldwide deal with the question of optimising radiation protection, and their recommendations and standards are used in the Czech Republic. For this purpose, it is necessary to know the real activity of radiopharmaceuticals applied in each examination and to conduct a forecast resulting in effective doses also based on CT scans. The thesis also evaluates the occurrence of special radiation events really experienced at the department of NM (nuclear medicine) in the hospital mentioned above, the reasons for these events happening and precautions preventing them from happening in future. The owner of the permission for this activity, meaning the use of the source of ionizing radiation, has the duty to keep all documentation and paperwork in accordance with the law regulating nuclear power, abide by the rules of good practices and the real state of allowed practice. The occurrence of unusual events is closely connected with the documentation - internal emergency plan and monitoring program. (Law 263/2016) Therefore, it was recommended to compare these to the actual state and to review them based on the facts found. The values of applied activities and effective doses found were compared to the values published in the last report from UNSCEAR in 2016 and national referential values published in the bill about radiation protection no 422/ 2016. All results were inputted into tables and graphs. It was found that the applied activities at the department of NM in hospital Ceske Budejovice are in agreement with the values presented in UNSCEAR report and that they are lower than the national referential levels, which shows that there is optimised state of radiation protection for patients. The occurrence of concrete unusual radiation events at the department of NM in hospital Ceske Budejovice and their analysis revealed certain shortcomings in the process and the absence of security elements needed while holding radioactive liquid waste in storage at the hospital. It was necessary to find and implement such precautions, which will prevent similar type of events in future. The thesis will be handed in to the person tending to the radiation protection for the use of evaluation and providing the protection at the department of NM at the hospital Ceske Budejovice and to enable the documentation to be completed for the allowed activity.

Vliv interagující složky základního elektrolytu na elektroforetickou separaci / Influence of the interacting constituent of the background electrolyte on electrophoretic separation

Müllerová, Ludmila January 2015 (has links)
Capillary electrophoresis is a widely used separation method of analytical chemistry. Addition of a selector into the background electrolyte extends its applicability to separation of enantiomers or of compounds of similar physicochemical properties. In analytical practice, mixtures of selectors are also commonly used - either prepared intentionally to achieve better separation or because commercially available selectors may be mixtures of compounds differing in the degree of substitution and substituent positions. Mathematical description of these systems, which are highly relevant in analytical practice, can simplify search for optimal separation conditions. Also, it provides a useful insight into the separation mechanism. In this work, a model of electromigration of an analyte interacting with a mixture of two selectors is proposed and experimentally verified. This model results from a more general description of systems with an arbitrary number of selectors. The model shows that a selector mixture can be treated as a single selector if the ratio of the respective selector concentrations is kept constant. When the mixture is prepared intentionally, this description predicts, how separation potential of the mixture changes with its composition. Thus it allows the optimal composition and total...

Zdanění příjmů ze závislé činnosti daňového rezidenta České republiky / Taxation of income from the employment of a tax resident of the Czech Republic

GAJANOVÁ, Daniela January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this master thesis is to compare the tax burden of income from employment in the Czech Republic and Austria and to calculate the amount of tax paid by a tax resident of the Czech Republic on foreign income. In the theoretical part, there are mentioned basic informations about the tax system of the Czech Republic and Austria. First of all the issue is a way to determine the tax base, what tax rates are in each country and wheater the tax can be reduced by some amounts. In the practical, the knowledge is applied to the calculation of payroll tax in the Czech Repub-ic and Austria. It compares the differences in the calculation and the amount of tax in both countries and evaluates the tax burden on the gross income of a resident of the Czech Repub-lic working abroad. It also describes the method of taxation of foreign income in the Czech Republic. It was found that the income tax burden in Austria is higher than in the Czech Republic. In the Czech Republic, the effective rate even reaches negative values - the tax bonus is paid out. Considering the high tax rates in Austria, this situation will never occur.

Dozimetrické stanovení radiační zátěže pacienta a personálu při diagnostických a intervenčních endovaskulárních výkonech na DSA pracovišti ÚVN, krizový plán pro případ vzniku mimořádné události / Dosimetric determination of radiation exposure of patients and personnel during diagnostic and interventional endovascular procedures at the DSA department of UVN, recovery plan for a potential extraordinary event

KRAHULA, Ondřej January 2007 (has links)
Intervention radiology is a discipline that is achieving a great advancement due to its significant success in the treatment of various diseases. Also, it relates to the increase of the number of angiographic performances in the last years. The extension of radiological methods has increased the share of this discipline on the overall medical irradiation of the population. All angiographic performances are accompanied by certain risk related to the exposure of the patient and staff to the ionizing radiation. Several cases were reported where the surface doses were reaching the limits of deterministic effects of radiation in some types of examination. This study monitors three core criteria related to the radiation burden in the set of 141 patients, which have undertaken different endovascular interventions. These criteria are: the dose area product (DAP), surface dose, and effective dosage. The relevant criterion was the value of DAP, read from the DAP meter directly during the examination. Other data were calculated. On basis of these results, this study tries to determine the strenuousness of singular examinations from the point of the radiation burden. It is the understanding the principles of the influencing the patient{\crq}s burden of the radiation in angiographic examinations, what can help in reducing the dosages. The analysis of this study results can help to prevent the occurrence of abnormal events during the examination.
