The aim of master thesis is to analyze the economic development of Manchukuo and to answer the question whether the establishment of Manchukuo had positive or negative impact on the economic development of the area. The analysis of the economic development of the region in 1929-1945 proves that the economic impact on the development of the area was positive. Despite an effort to have Manchukuo economically self-sufficient, the region was still very dependent on Japan in both economical and political aspects. However, the comparison of Chinese and Manchukuo's economies shows a higher level of economic development of Manchukuo. The thesis uses the method of the probe and historical-critical method. The conclusions are primarily based on historical and up-to-date literature written by foreign and Czech authors.

This diploma thesis deals with tax evasion of necessary consolidation of public finance in current period. The main goal of this thesis is analyze corporate tax evasion. This thesis is created by using literature, legislation and case law. For the estimate we have used the concept of tax gap, which is based on comparison of theoretical tax liability of the economy with the actual tax receipts.

This thesis deals with the didactic analysis of the curriculum on Value Added Tax, which is taught in the subject of economics at the business academies. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is devoted to the description of secondary vocational education in the Czech Republic and the general characteristics of the subject of economics. This introduction is followed by the part, in which it is done processing the curriculum of the Value Added Tax as a theoretical basis for teaching. Once we are familiar with the relevant issues and have reliable input information, we can determine appropriate valuation techniques, which shall respect purpose of the valuation alongside with any related specific features. Subsequent application of the valuation techniques determines the value of the club. Comparing results of various methods within one club, as well as between the clubs, may test reliability of the values. With regard to their status and importance, Manchester United FC and Arsenal FC are the clubs chosen for the analysis and valuation performed in this dissertation thesis. The workflow and logic above facilitates performing reliable valuations of selected teams, as well as drawing the guidelines and recommendations for the valuation of professional football clubs with regards to specifics in their financing and economic functioning.

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the present condition of sharing economy and design a critical success factors model on a IT startups which operate as a transportation network companies. The result is finally validated on few representative businesses. The problem is solved by the modified qualitative critical success factors method whose author is John F. Rockart. The gained factors were finally used in the causal model which is based on the principles of system dynamics. The outcomes of this thesis are enabling to understand the relations which are hidden behind success of transportation network companies in the area of sharing economy. The information can be useful not only for startups but also for academic sphere and possible investors.

This thesis deals with the analysis of problems of transnational corporations. It is defined which positive and negative effects can transnational corporations have on the host country mainly in economic and political terms and to what extend and in what ways can the national states regulate their activities. This work presents the largest non-financial transnational corporations in the world and in the developing countries and the largest financial transnational corporations in the world. They are weighted by their size, geographical and sectoral distribution. A special attention is paid to the region of Central and Eastern Europe. At first this thesis deals with FDI flows that are associated with the mentioned region. In addition, it focuses on the reasons of entry of corporations from the West to the region and on the effects of their action. Space is also given to the transnational corporations with the headquarters in the monitored region.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic. It emphasizes the importance of social economy, the field between the public sector and the private market sector. This thesis is interested in existing companies which consider themselves as "social" and describes their common features. It presents the social companies' founding years, what their legal forms are, their areas of business and why they consider themselves social. This paper also examines social entrepreneurship in an international context, it endeavours to identify where and how the Czech Republic could inspire itself to improve. Social entrepreneurship in Ireland is analyzed in detail according to the same criteria as social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this work is to create an overview of social entrepreneurship.

The thesis analyzes the development of the Spanish economy during the crisis due to the impact of the introduction of the euro, both in the years of prosperity and subsequently in the years of the biggest recession, which significantly affected many sectors of the economy, mostly construction, real estate market and the labor market. The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter describes the economy of Spain based on the representation of individual sectors and development of the basic indicators of the economy before and after the adoption of the common currency of the Union. In the second chapter, the thesis focuses on the real estate market, which depends on developments in the construction industry that is closely connected with the banking sector, while it was particularly the situation in the mortgage market that had a decisive impact on the negative development of the national economy. The third chapter describes the labor market and the impact of the crisis of overproduction on unemployment rate, particularly among young people. It also presents the current problems and the recently adopted reform of the labor market.
