Kineziologická analýza funkce vybraných svalů horní končetiny po augmentaci ženských prsů / Kinesiolgy analysis of function selected muscles of upper limb after brest augmentation

Víšková, Anna January 2011 (has links)
Title: Kinesiologic analysis of function of selected upper limb muscles after female breast augmentation Objectives: The aim of this research is to analyze the functionality and scope of involvement of the injured muscles due to plastic surgical augmentation procedure at pre-selected physical activities before and after surgery a few months later (specifically, three months - the time the patient left the recovery) using a noninvasive surface electromyography (EMG). Methods: A Case Study measuring method of noninvasive surface electromyography in combination with the method of temporal phase shifts involved in the activation of muscle movement, accompanied by a support method of integrated EMG. Results: There differences have been observed in the timing of individual muscles measured during performing selected testing exercises before and after completion of the augmentation plastic surgery operatios. Furthermore, the possibility of the loss of muscle strength has been detected by some measured muscles and this has the potential to take over functions of damaged muscles. Key words: plastic surgery, female breast augmentation, surface electromyography, upper limb muscles, musculus pectoralis major

Sledování vlivu Vojtovy reflexní lokomoce na aktivitu svalů pletence ramenního u pacientů se subacromiálním impingement syndromem pomocí povrchové elektromyografie / Monitoring the impact of Vojta reflex locomotion on the activity of the muscles of the shoulder girdle in patients with subacromials impingement syndrome by surface electromyography

Myslivcová, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on the observation of influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the activity of shoulder girdle's muscles at patients with the subacromial impingement syndrome. We examined ten patients with the subacromial impingement syndrome as well as twenty asymptomatic individuals. We evaluated the impact of just one Vojta's reflex locomotion therapy on the activity of muscles using the Method of the Surface Electromyography. At the same time we evaluated if the reaction on the therapy had some impact on measured values. The therapy always took at least time necessary to obtain any reaction of each of the individuals, although the maximum limit of the therapy was 32 minutes. The impact of Vojta's reflex locomotion therapy had not statistical importance with regard on changes of muscle activity after and before the therapy, with regard on the symmetry of muscle activity, as well as the difference of beginning of activation of every muscle before and after the therapy. The statistical importance was influenced just by the corporeal disposition of every measured individual, which was observed on the timing. The influence of the corporeal disposition on the average measured values with regard of the left - right side symmetry has no statistical importance. The statistical...

Důsledky vynucené hypokineze na pohybový aparát člověka / Consequences of forced hypokinesia on human movement apparatus

Kadlecová, Jana January 2014 (has links)
Title: Consequences of forced hypokinesia on human movement aparatus. Objectives: The aim of this study was to find out the influence of forced hypokinesia after total hip replacement on the excitability of α motoneurons. I deal with the changes of H-reflex and M-wave latencies and the changes of the recruitment curves. The results of the operated and non-operated (kontrol) lower limb were compared. Methods: Five volunteers 3 - 4 weeks after total hip replacement participated in this study. The age was 62,4 (± 3,01). The H-reflex was elicited by stimulation of tibial nerve in a poplitel fossa. The H-reflex and M-wave latencies and its recruitment curves were obtained. After that the values of the operated lower limb were compared with the non-operated one (control). The results were evaluated as case studies. The EMG device Grass Telefactor was used to detect the electrical potential of soleus muscle. The rectangular pulses of 0,5 ms duration were used for stimulation tibial nerve by Grass 88 Stimulator. Then the data were transduced by CED Power 1401 device. Results: We found out that the H-reflexes of both lower limbs were not elicited in the case study no. 2 and the H-reflex of a control lower limb was not elicited in case study no. 1. The stimulus intensities for eliciting H-reflex and M-wave...

Analýza elektromyografické aktivity vybraných svalů při cvičení na vybraných balančních plochách / Analysis of electromyographic activity of selected muscles in exercises on selected balance surfaces.

Pospíšilová, Nikol January 2012 (has links)
Title: Analysis of electromyographic activity of selected muscles in exercises on selected balance surfaces. Objective: The objective of this dissertation was to document, compare and analyze electromyographic activity of m. gluteus maximus et medius, of m. erector spinae at the level L3 and of m. quadriceps vagus medialis et lateralis in exercises on selected unstable surfaces - on a cylindrical board and in balance sandals. Methods: The work was elaborated as a pilot study. Surface electromyography was used for objectification. The researched group consisted of 7 volunteers (5 women and 2 men), who had no serious injuries and surgeries in their anamnesis and none of them did any sports for a long period. Electromyographic activity of the above mentioned muscles was compared when doing two clearly defined exercises (stand on one lower extremity and hovering/gait on the spot) in balancing sandals and on a cylindrical board in sagittal plane. Results: The results only confirmed two hypotheses out of five ones. Namely it was the hypothesis no. 2 that the lowest activity of m. gluteus maximus was reached while doing exercise no. 3 - hovering/gait on the spot on a cylindrical board and the hypothesis no. 3 that the highest activity of m. erector spinae was reached while doing exercise no. 4 -...

Fraňková, Věra January 2016 (has links)
Title: Influence of horse breed and type of terrain on activation of the abdominal muscles in hippotherapy. Purposes: The aim of the study is to find out if horse breed and type of terrain approaches muscle activation in the position of unassisted sitting Methods: The study is of intraindividual character and incudes theoretical and practical part. The activation of abdominal muscles was measured by using surface electromyography and kinematic analysis. Results: There was differance between muscle activation with a different type of terrain. Horse breed does not influence a muscle activation but the individual biomechanic of each horse. Key words: hippotherapy, hipporehabilitation, horse breed, activation of abdominal muscles, unassisted seat, therapeutic horseback riding, electromyography

Sledování aktivity trupového svalstva při vyšetření posturální stability dle testů DNS pomocí povrchové lektromyografie u osob s bolestmi zad / Monitoring of the core muscles activity in postural stability examination by Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization tests using surface electromyography in patients with low back pain

Zajíčková, Jana January 2015 (has links)
The Master's thesis is focused on monitoring of the core muscles and m. biceps femoris activity in postural stability examination by Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization tests using surface electromyography in patients with LBP. Trunk extension test, trunk flexion test and squat test were chosen. The aim of this study was comparing muscle activity timing, symmetry of muscle activation and average activation between healthy subjects and patients with LBP. The changes of muscle activation pattern were observed and average activation was determined. In theoretical part the principles of DNS, surface electromyography and the relationship between postural stabilization and LBP are discussed. Two groups were measured - patients with LBP and a control group, 20 subjects together. The onset times were measured and rank of activation for each test and for each subject was determined. Then the average order for whole group was specified. Measured data were evaluated according to Wilcoxon signed-rank test. In average activation there was analysed change of activation in time. Results were compared between two measured groups. There is significant difference between the two groups in the rank of activation of m. ES l. dx. in trunk extension test and m. EO in squat test. Assymetry in timing of the right and left...

Rekonstrukce vlivu mletí obilí na svalovou aktivitu horní končetiny / Reconstruction of the influence of grinding technology on upper limb muscle activity

Struška, Michal January 2018 (has links)
Interpretation of changes of humeral asymmetry during the Holocene period was based on the analysis of upper limb muscle activity during cereal grinding using the saddle quern and rotary quern. The aim of the diploma thesis was to test if the dominant upper limb muscle activity during cereal grinding using the saddle quern and rotary quern might be estimated by measuring the activity of musculus deltoideus (pars clavicularis), musculus infraspinatus, musculus pectoralis major and musculus triceps brachii (caput longum). Using surface electromyography, we have analyzed activity of musculus biceps brachii, musculus deltoideus (pars clavicularis), musculus deltoideus (pars acromialis), musculus deltoideus (pars spinalis), musculus pectoralis major, musculus infraspinatus, musculus triceps brachii (caput laterale) and musculus triceps brachii (caput longum) during cereal grinding using the saddle quern and rotary quern in 25 subjects. Consistent with our prediction, musculus biceps brachii was the least active muscle during saddle quern grinding and clockwise rotary grinding, therefore it is possible to exclude musculus biceps brachii from the sample of analyzed muscles. Pars clavicularis, pars acromialis and pars spinalis of musculus deltoideus were more active during rotary quern grinding than...

Analýza svalové činnosti při hře na violoncello / Muscle activity analysis during the violoncello play

Kasanová, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
Title: Muscle activity analysis during the violoncello play Objectives: This thesis focuses on analysing and comparing specific back muscles of a bowing violoncellist. The findings can help understanding pathologic mechanisms and back pain caused by violoncello playing. It may be useful in choosing suitable preventive compensatory exercise as well and for future research. Eventually, the analysis could be applied in playing ergonomics and designing a proper seat. The thesis also aims on evaluating suitability of the chosen measuring method in this branch. Methods: The theoretical part reviews contemporary knowledge about musculoskeletal system disorders linked with violoncello playing. The practical part aims on evaluating data obtained from 3D kinematic analysis and surface EMG of specific back muscles of professional violoncello player during playing. Several conditions are assessed. Results: The experiment has shown that when playing a violoncello there is an asymmetric loading of the back muscles. Loading of specific muscles has is affected by way of bowing, string location and the seat. The experiment was done on a single proband, so these conclusions may not be generally valid. Keywords: violoncello playing, musicians, surface electromyography, 3d kinematic analysis, violoncellists' diseases,...
