Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att utifrån individens upplevelser av återhämtning under och efter en psykos undersöka vilka faktorer som är betydelsefulla för den personliga återhämtningen. Den frågeställning som författarna hade var: Vilka faktorer bidrar till den personliga återhämtningen för människor med psykosproblematik? Kvalitativa studier (n=12) som är sökta i databaserna PsycINFO, CINAHL och sökmotorn ELIN@dalarna ligger som grund för resultatet. Artiklarna söktes och valdes ut om de var relevanta gentemot syfte och frågeställning och granskades därefter med hjälp av en granskningsmall. Resultatet visade att upplevelser under återhämtningsprocessen är olika för varje individ, och det finns ett flertal faktorer som är betydelsefulla för den personliga återhämtningen. Att leva med psykos leder ofta till att individen förlorar en del av sig själv och sin livsvärld. Studien visade att under återhämtningsprocessen är det viktigt att hitta sig själv och att utveckla en känsla av identitet. Meningsfull sysselsättning och relationer är till stöd för en positiv återhämtning. Studien visade också varierade resultat hos personer som varit inlåsta på sjukhus eller institutioner

This study¡¦s goal is to understand the feasibility of community overall construction that is carried out by a community union. Four villages on the right bank of Linbian Stream, Pingtung were used as study subjects. It analyzes patterns of developing bottlenecks, action strategies and future projects that are developed by a country community union gathered from various clans, so as to provide references for relevant governmental units in order to promote community construction and establish related laws and rules.
Few domestic literatures addresses on the integration between community union and community construction, in particular, the role of community union in community construction and governmental strategies for the promotion and assistance of the formation of community union. Thus, in order to achieve the objectives of sustainable development of resources and the construction of local union for the local empowerment through the key role of community union, this research conducts studies on the feasible models of supportive construction and development of local community unions and concludes with concrete suggestion to offer possible solution to the difficulties of sustainable development of community resources.
The study uses Literature Review, In-Depth Interviews and Participant Observation. The constructer/actor and exterior supporter of the four villages in Lintzibian, Jiangong, Shitou and Silerfafawu on the right bank of Linbian Stream, Pingtung were used as subjects. Furthermore, problem regarding clan integration in four community unions (South China Chinese, Hakka, Pingpu and Paywan) concerning water resources protection, bank beauty and water collection problem areas were researched. Successful foreign experiences from Germany regarding country community construction were introduced. The study attempts to determine the feasibility of community construction that is carried out by the community union.
Based on literature review and current studies, this research aims to use the villages on the Right Bank of Linbian Stream, Pingtung as the study subjects to conduct in-depth analysis on the actual sustainable development of resource promoted by Community Union of Right Bank of Linbian Stream, Pingtung, where has be developed in the recent years, but still maintains its unique features. Three results have been found on the feasibility study of the participation of Community Union of Right Bank of Linbian Stream, Pingtung in community construction:
First, in terms of organizational structure of Community Union of Right Bank of Linbian Stream, Pingtung, Pintung Community Construction Center plays a communicative role; Blue Tungkang River Conservation helps and advises each community to prepare planning and develop relevant construction skills; Linbian Nature and Cultural Conservation acts as the executive due to its rich experience of community construction. All participating communities have their own right and work with the model of ¡§self construction,¡¨ self purchasing material and labor and public participation in community design.
Second, for the use of resources: Resources are composed of the symbols of ethnic characteristics, nature environment and supportive function. In 1999, Linbian and Chienkung communities began the construction projects of bank beatification and Baoanlin Yungchiuan Community and by the end of 2000, upstream Shitou of Pinbu gathering also made use of local rocks to build the unique ¡§Shitou Stone Park.¡¨ The next year, Silerfafawu of upstream Paiwan tribe built their own gathering space with stone. Consequently, each ethnic group and community express their interpretation of externally learnt theory and knowledge for environmental conservation, culture preservation, and local democratization based on ¡§local hands-on experience.¡¨
Third, in the regards of human resources: The study has found the
weakness of insufficient human resources provided by governmental agencies, local talents, and local participants. This study, thus, proposes action strategies including: flexible adjustment of personnel support of the public sector, establishment of data bank of local talents of community construction, alternative military service to alleviate the problem of insufficient human resources and talent fostering to reduce the burden.
Judging from action experience of the four villages, this study has also concluded that the conditions for the formation of one community union have not matured yet. Each village now has not reached the stage of having sufficient human resources and in order to build up the union; in addition to regular work, each village needs to spend more time on meeting and labor division for conciliation. As a result, some matters would be postponed for final decision or simply be put aside. Moreover, each village has undergone different community construction stages and mobilization degrees and they distinguish one another from ethnic background, industrial and commercial development, demographic structure, so each of them has its own problem to tackle with. How can they work on the construction project on the footing of mutual benefit? How can resource distribution and labor division be allocated evenly? How can the communication and system be built by the public sector to handle the possible short term union based temporary issues? Budget application and verification probably will become a common problem. In short, the union of community construction in Pingtung is at the initial testing stage.

Den här uppsatsen vill undersöka om - hur - och i vilken utsträckning, framförallt språklärare kan och vill anknyta till förstaspråkselevens eget språk och egen kultur i klassrumsundervisningen. En annan aspekt som arbetet ville belysa var att se om och hur mycket lärarna var medvetna i sitt förhållningssätt gentemot dessa elever. Ytterliggare en annan aspekt var att finna eventuella orsaker för olika förhållningssätt. Undersökningsmetoden är baserat på lärar- och elevintervjuer. Samanlagt frågades 4 st. elever med olika första språk och 4 st. språklärare med olika språkkombinationer och bakgrund. Både vuxna och elever tillfrågades på en grundskola här i Stockholm. De inspelade intervjuerna sammanställdes som enskilda brättelser under resultatet. Utifrån dessa personliga berättelser förs sedan en diskussion, där lärarens personlighet, egna erfarenheter, kulturtillhörigheten, ointresse, rädsla för det okända och okunskap kan ha samband med att vara mer eller mindre intreserad av att sträva mot en integration av förstaspråkseleven i undervisningen.

Creative writing, publishing and the empowerment of Inuit adult learnersDriedger, Diane Lynn 30 November 2009 (has links)
This small-scale, qualitative, instructional study examined creative writing, publishing and empowerment of Inuit adult learners in Baker Lake, Nunavut. I studied whether instruction in culturally relevant topics in English and Inuit songs in Inuktitut motivated the learners to write. In addition, I examined whether having their creative writing published led to empowerment for the learners. This was a participatory action research project, and a Project Advisory Committee of community members helped in planning and carrying out the study. I examined concepts of orality and literacy and discussed how Inuit have historically practiced many types of literacy—such as reading snowdrifts and Inuksuit to navigate.
The project took place in Baker Lake, an Inuit community that has experienced the colonization of the South. Thus, throughout the project, I examined my positionality in terms of culture, colonialism, disability and its affect on my research.
I taught a creative writing workshop at the Nunavut Arctic College, along with the local Elders, who taught songs from the Baker Lake area. In the process of curriculum planning, the Elders asserted their right to teach the songs in Inuktitut, which is the way that they originally composed or learned them. In this context I explore the work of Fanon (1963) concerning the role of storytellers in the decolonization of cultures. After the workshop, in February 2006, The Sound of Songs: Stories by Baker Lake Writers (Utatnaq, 2006), an anthology of the adult learners’ writings, was published. This small book was then launched at the Community Centre in Baker Lake, where community members listened to learners’ readings.
In the course of the project, the Project Advisory Committee and I examined the meaning of the term “empowerment” in the context of Inuit culture. Each of the nine learners who took part in the workshop published at least one piece in the book. The majority of the nine learners who took part in the study reported some degree of empowerment, in the area of confidence about their own writing, in gaining the respect of community members, especially the Elders, and also in learning to be a “real Inuk” from the Elders who taught songs from the Baker Lake area. Most of the learners had not heard these songs before and thus this was an opportunity for Elders and younger people in their twenties and thirties to better understand each other. Indeed, the community itself may have been empowered in the process of doing participatory action research for this project and in seeing its young people take an interest in their heritage.

Telekombranschen är den bransch som har visat sig ha lägst kundnöjdhet enligt undersökningar som årligen genomförs bland konsumenterna. Missnöjet från kunderna är ett av de områden som medarbetarna i kundservicen dagligen får hantera, vilket ställer stora krav på medarbetarna gällande kunskap och möjlighet till beslutsfattande. Detta ställer i sin tur krav på ledaren att skapa en miljö där det finns förutsättningar och möjligheter för medarbetaren att kunna agera i första kontakten med kunden. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur ledare inom telekomföretag arbetar med empowerment med styrkoncept i kundservicen. Ytterligare syftar studien till att utreda hur arbetet med empowerment uttrycker sig i verksamheten samt undersöka vilka konkreta effekter ledarna upplever att empowerment medför internt för kundserviceavdelningen. Studien har genomförts utifrån en kvalitativ ansats där sju semistrukturerade intervjuer ligger till grund för datainsamlingen. Datan har sedan analyserats utifrån fyra teorier med fokus på organisationsstruktur, ledarskap och empowerment. Sammanställningen från datainsamlingen tyder på att ledare inom telekombranschen själva anser att de ger medarbetarna befogenheter och behörigheter att kunna fatta egna beslut för att lösa kundens ärende i den första kontakten. Resultatet från studien visar emellertid på att ledarna använder empowermentliknande arbetssätt som verktyg i specifika arbetsmoment där kundservicemedarbetarnas kunskap anses viktig, snarare än ett koncept som genomsyrar hela kundserviceverksamheten. / According to annual reports, the telecom industry is the sector that has the lowest customer satisfaction. The customers’ dissatisfaction is one of the areas that co-workers in Customers service have to handle on a daily basis, which places great demands on the co-workers according to knowledge and the ability to make decisions. As a result of this, the leaders have to create a work environment where the co-workers’ have conditions and opportunities to act in the first contact with the consumer. The purpose with this study is to examine how leaders in the telecom industry use empowerment as a concept in Customer service. Further, the study purposes to examine how the work with empowerment is expressed in the organization and what consequences the leaders experience that empowerment has on the Customer service department. The study has been made from a qualitative perspective where seven semi-structured interviews are the basis for the data collection. The data has been analyzed from four theories that focuses on organizational structure, leadership and empowerment. The compilation from the data collection indicates that leaders in the telecom industry consider that they give power and privileges to the co-workers to be able to make their own decisions in order to solve the customer’s case in the first contact. The result from the study shows on the other hand that leaders use empowerment-influenced work procedures as a tool in specific work activities where the co-workers in Customer service knowledge is highly valuable, rather than a concept that permeates the organization as a whole.
