[pt] Esta tese tem por objetivo apresentar o percurso genético do diálogo como uma prática discursiva oral que se tornou um gênero literário até o momento que foi utilizado como meio de expressão poético e filosófico por autores antigos. A partir da obra homérica, que foi o pilar ético, epistemológico, político e pedagógico para a organização da cultura grega, esse importante gênero tornou-se a base para a elaboração das primeiras reflexões que culminaram no surgimento do Teatro e da Filosofia na Grécia. / [en] This thesis aims to present the genetic path of dialogue as an oral discursive practice, which has become a literary genre, up to the moment that was used as a way of poetic and philosophical expression by ancient authors. From this Homeric work, which was the ethical, epistemological, political and pedagogical pillar for the organization of Greek culture, this important genre became the basis for the elaboration of the first reflections that culminated in the emergence of Theater and Philosophy in Greece.

This thesis analyses and interprets the famous Anglo-Saxon epic poem Beowulf with regard to two main topics of the medieval epic poetry: the topics of courage and death. Theoretical background contains a description of medieval epic poetry and its functions. Furthermore, the introduction contains a description of English medieval epic poetry in historical and religious context (perception of death and afterlife with regard to the mixture of paganism and Christianity, meaning of heroism and heroic virtues - loyalty, pride, honour, persistency, determination, suppression of fear, willingness to help, sacrifice). Another chapter focuses on the creation of Beowulf itself and on the content and the form. The analysis draws on the Czech translation by J. Čermák. It focuses on the hero of the poem and it tries to find particular examples of the above mentioned virtues in three important passages of the poem (the fights with Grendel, with his mother and with the dragon). Another section deals with the image of death (the topics of burial, fateful disasters connected with monsters, fights), the question of afterlife, and with the function of the cyclic structure of epic poems (the never ending cycle of life and death) The thesis also tries to interpret the literary influence of the poem and its topicality.

Este texto se ocupa de dos volúmenes de la obra de Heidegger: el curso sobre Parménides de 1942 y la recopilación De camino al habla de 1950-1959. El curso sobre Parménides trabaja los términos griegos mythos, logos y epos, y los determina como los mismos” –lo que no precisamente corresponde a la identidad–. En sus diferencias mismas, remiten a la palabra” (das Wort). Varios años después, la palabra” es invocada en la triple denominación de Sprache, Wort y Sage que, en sí mismos, no dependen de ninguna lógica de la identidad, sino más bien de una lógica de la tautología”: la poesía misma.

Denna uppsats ger läsaren en analys av det intertextuella mellan eposet Odysséen och romanenPenelopiaden. I Penelopiaden ger Atwood även utrymme för frågan om jämställdhet mellan könen,vilket också lyftes fram som en del av analysen. Uppsatsens analys grundar sig på Gérard Genettesgrundtyper av intertextualitet och Atwoods feministiska inslag i sin roman kommer också attpoängteras utifrån feministisk litteraturteori. Den hermeneutiska tanken om att det krävs att förstådelarna för att kunna ta till sig helheten och tvärtom är en tanke med att studera delar avintertextualiteten mellan de båda verken. / This essay gives the reader an analysis of the intertextuality between the epic The Odyssey and thenovel The Penelopiad. In the Penelope, Atwood also provides space for the issue of gender equality,which was also highlighted as part of the analysis. The essay's analysis is based on Gérard Genette'sbasic types of intertextuality and Atwood's feminist elements in his novel will also be emphasizedon the basis of feminist literary theory. The hermeneutic idea that it is necessary to understand theparts in order to be able to absorb the whole and vice versa is an idea to study parts of theintertextuality between the two works.

Denna studie handlar om eurocentrism i svenska läroböcker. Det analyserade verket är Epos – För gymnasieskolan från 2012, som kontrasteras mot de läroböcker som den tidigare forskningen analyserat. Utifrån en modell konstruerad utifrån anti-eurocentriska teoretiker, såsom Blaut, Amin och Hobson, undersöker jag huruvida läromedlet är att betrakta som eurocentristiskt i sin skildring av Mellanösterns, Kinas och Europas historia fram till 1700-talet. Metoden är en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med lingvistiska och idéanalytiska inslag. Utifrån min teoretiska modell har jag undersökt huruvida de förklaringar som ges till Europas dominans bär spår utav eurocentrism, samt om Kinas och Mellanösterns kulturer betraktas som aktiva i formandet av historien. Därtill har jag undersökt huruvida det antika arvet utgör en grund för konstruktionen av västvärlden och därigenom annekteras till Europa. Slutsatserna är att Epos i hög utsträckning utgår ifrån en eurocentrisk tolkning av historien och därmed osynliggör viktiga influenser, innovationer och andra betydelsefulla bidrag från icke-västliga kultursfärer. Dessutom skildras Antiken som grunden till den europeiska civilisationen och blir därigenom grunden till en europeisk identitet, något som utifrån den teoretiska utgångspunkten är att betrakta som eurocentriskt.
