The Innovation of Tea Restaurant by case study of Starbucks

Yang, Jui-yuan 26 July 2007 (has links)
This study paper not only to do the comparison study of competition strategy analysis , also cover the other two dimensions¡¦s comparison of entrepreneurship and innovation strategy analysis. Through these three dimensions analysis to do the case study of Starbucks, and further to do comparison between two selected restaurant , 85 C & Cha for tea with the Starbucks (1992, before IPO) then try to concluded to future tea restaurant model. The production of Taiwan tea leaf industry, drop from per year 4 thousand tons to Around 2 thousand tons, but actually the total industry sales value still keep same level as the peak year, the major reason is cause by the growth from three market segment ,First segment , the tradition tea shop ,sale more then 4 thousand tons tea leaf ,mainly Oolong tea & Green tea ,total sales amount around 11 Bio NTD . Second segment, the ready-to- drink ,tea drink beverage industry ,consume more then 6 thousand tons tea leaf, total end product sales amount over 15 Bio NTD, Third segment , tea house + tea stand and tea restaurant ,consume around 7 thousand tons tea leaf, total end product sales amount around 18 Bio NTD. Base on above three segment , we can see tea house + tea stands and the tea restaurant are the major growing segment for the whole tea industry, also if we counts in the total involve labors ,still this segment share the biggest contribution. Then we foresee as long the innovation growth from this segment will in final contribute to Taiwan tea industry. This paper then focus on the future dream model of tea restaurant , while review the history of Stuarbucks & Taiwan tea restaurant ,It is very interesting to found that both starting from early 1970, till 1992, come out to be huge difference, Starbucks start its IPO in 1992 then continuous to do the internationalize extension, and become a worldwide leading specialty coffee house and famous brand . In the mean time , Taiwan tea restaurant ,diversity growth in Taiwan inland and east Asian, there been a lot success medium & small chain store , without a realy internationalize teaestaurant. I select Starbucks in 1971- 1992 before IPO period as target benchmark to do the case study, after screening the local tea restaurant and chain store , found that the 85 C coffee house and Cha for tea Tea restaurant was the best candidates to be a dream module as the comparison study. Case study ,start from background introduction of Taiwan tea house+tea stands and tea restaurant's history. Second part, Collect the theory and analysis model for success strategy and innovation strategy. Third part, outline Starbucks success model, utilized the external market environment and internal value chain and plus entrepreneurships & innovation strategy to outline the success of Starbucks . The final part is to do the details comparison between 85 C coffee house and Cha for tea Tea restaurant with Starbucks ,Then concluded to the future dream model of tea restaurants.

Corporate Storytelling ur kundsynvinkel: : fallet Arlanda Express

Mitrovic, Aleksandra, Kljunic, Marko January 2009 (has links)

The reasons and the impacts of Reclamation of Poyang Lake from Ming Dynasty

Ku, Han-shih 15 August 2012 (has links)
Poyang Lake is continuously shrinking and losing its function on account of deforestation and reclamation, causing water quality deterioration, frequent floods and ecological damages that impede economic growth. The research mainly analyzes the cause of Poyang Lake reclamation, its development, and pros and cons through historical literatures. The fact is found from 13th -19th centuries that farmers individually reclaimed the lake had caused external uneconomic problems. It not only negatively impacted local ecology but resulted in economic burden to the local government, who originally considered that the reclamation could bring in tax increases; however, the local financial resources are not sufficient to resolve existing problems. Under the contradictions among economic development, ecological protection, individual benefits and the overall security, the problems will continuously exist. The results of this research give an overall introduction concerning Poyang Lake in China. By illustrating the causes and impacts of reclamation and governances for lake, a relation among a specific political system, economic growth, ecological changes and policies can be demonstrated and underlying factors of flood disaster in China can be summarized.

Chang, Sung-shan 28 July 2004 (has links)
The role of military instructor was quite important in the early age of development in Taiwan.Military instructor dedicate much of their time and efforts for keeping safty and harmony inside school, but their social status has been queried by Taiwan society. It is important for education administration and military instructor to understand the career anchor. The purpose of this study are to find the relationship between recognition of changing in external environment, career anchor & job change intention-An example of military instructor in college. This research uses t test, single variance analysis, pearson analysis and step-by-step regression to study the relations of variance.800 questionnaires were released.419 are available. The results of this research result from the statistical analysis of three variables. They are recognition of changing in external environment, career anchor & job change intention. According to the analysis of the research data,we can get the findings of the study as follows¡G 1.The recognition for social support of organization has negative influence to turnover. 2.The recognition for development of organization in the future has negative influence to outbound after resign. The recognition for social surpport of organization has positive influence to outbound after resign. 3.The interaction between the recognition for social surpport of organization and anchor of service/challange has negative influence to turnover. 4.The interaction between the recognition for development of organization in the future and anchor of service location has negative influence to outbound after resign. It is hoped that this results will provide useful information to the policy and decision makers as well as education administrations on how to manage and improve the quality of a military instructor's service on a campus.

The Study of External Field Influence on the Photophysics of a Single Quantum Dot

Lee, Chang-yeh 16 July 2006 (has links)
This thesis aims to study external field induced alignment of semiconductor quantum dot by utilizing single molecule spectroscopy. Wurtzite structure semiconductors, such as CdSe, exhibit strong electric dipole moment along its c-axis. It is proposed that quantum dot can be aligned along the applied field with sufficient strength. Experiments with two kind of matrix: PMMA mixing with wax, and liquid crystal thin film, were performed for that quantum dots are able to rotate freely in the matrix. Experiments with PMMA matrix were also performed as its rigid matrix for comparison. Interdigitated structure electrodes was deposited on the cover glass for the electric field experiments. The topical transition (absorption and emission) of CdSe quantum dots has a bright plane perpendicular to its c-axis, and a dark axis along the c-axis. It thus used for characterizing the field alignment. For each observing quantum dot, we record the fluorescence intensity, anti-bunching, polarization anisotropy, and fluorescence lifetime information. In addition, we also analyze the fluorescence correlation spectroscopy to probe the small modulation signal from the fluctuating fluorescence intensity. However, the results indicate that we didn¡¦t observe the field induced change with the field up to 1E7(v/m).

Computer Simulation of a Polymer in Solvents under an External Electric Field

Wu, Chia-Rong 10 July 2000 (has links)
By means of molecular dynamics simulation the effect of external direct current electric field on the polyethylene-like (PE-like) polymer and methyl chloride solvent system is investigated. Three systems include normal solution, dilute solution, and lower-density solution are simulated. For each system, four conditions include non-charged polymers in nonpolar solvents, non-charged polymers in polar solvents, charged polymers in nonpolar solvents, and charged polymer in polar solvents are simulated. The diffusion behavior of polymer in solvent is as functions of electric field, polarity of solvent molecules, and polarity of polymer. When an electric field is applied to the system include dielectric molecules, our calculation shows that the center of mass diffusion constant of polymer depends on the alignment of charged polymer or polar solvent molecules, the mobility of charged polymer or solvent molecules and the density of the system. The mobility of polar molecules results in the increase of the center of mass diffusion constant of polymer. The alignment of polar molecules results in the increase of fluid viscosity. This decreases the center of mass diffusion constant of polymer.

SYS-SIP SoC Development Infrastructure

Yang, Fu-Ching 12 October 2009 (has links)
System-on-a-Chip (SoC) is a trend to achieve high performance, low cost, and low power in modern electronic devices. As the demand of functionality and performance increase, more IPs (Intellectual Property) are integrated into a modern SoC. Developing such a complex SoC is challenging since the SoC has limited observability; modern SoCs usually leave limited spared I/O pins for debugging purpose due to cost consideration, making it hard to analyze the internal activities via the limited I/O pins. This hampers the SoC development. To ease the difficulty, we have implemented the SYS-SIP (National Sun Yat-Sen university's SoC Infrastructure IP's) to enable the SoC development in terms of verification, debugging, monitor ing, and performance tuning. The SYS-SIP consists of five members: Processor External Interrupt Verification Module (PEVM), ICE, processor tracer, bus tracer, and protocol checker. Each of them serves specific purposes in verification, debugging, monitoring, and performance tuning. The SYS-SIP can be applied at diffierent design stages: RTL, FPGA, and chip level. The results show that SYS-SIP eases the SoC development and shortens the time-to-market significantly.
