No. of bitstreams: 1 Luciana Melloni Rocco de Oliveira.pdf: 1753157 bytes, checksum: f8f74b925cdb3cd341b73ee385c989b9 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-02-20 / Clearly, the Brazilian education has grown in recent years occupying mainly from the 90, an important part of the services market in relation to the national economy. According to the school census conducted by the Ministry of Education in the years 2012 and 2013, the private school has increased its enrollment by 3.5 % while the public decreased 1.9 %. With this fact increased competition among educational institutions, with a significant increase in the number of institutions over long period. Thus favored the growth and development of extracurricular sports that are optional and extend the semester students. Analyzing these facts, this design for the dissertation aims to understand the impacts of the perceived quality of service of this kind of sport, adherence and compliance of the same from the view of parents. The research will be conducted in four private elementary and secondary education, the southern city of São Paulo. The method is quantitative with the use of the SERVQUAL scale of perceived quality. This analysis was statistics by multiple linear regression with SPSS 22 and Excel software. The sample is non-probabilistic convenience. The results show that the consumer has a positive perception of the quality of extracurricular sport service, is pleased with it and with the institution, but it is not fair or service and not the institution.

Necsa, Béatrice 04 1900 (has links)
Background: Preschool bedroom television placement represents an established risk factor for negative psychological and behavioral outcomes in adolescence. Sustained childhood sport participation might be a protective factor for potential undesirable associations with having a bedroom screen in early childhood. Sex differences in screen and sport habits makes boys and girls at risk for different developmental psychopathology. Objective: This research examines the moderating role of youth sports on the association between preschool bedroom television and later psychosocial risks at age 12 for boys and girls. Method: This study examines 1859 boys and girls from the Quebec Longitudinal Study of Child Development birth cohort with a history of bedroom television. We examine subsequent teacher-reported psycho-social outcomes by the end of sixth grade. We used linear regression to examine the interaction between child-reported bedroom television placement (age 4 years) and parent-reported childhood sport participation trajectories (ages 6 to 10 years) in predicting four behavioral outcomes (age 12 years). Results: For boys, consistent extracurricular sport amplified the positive relationship between having a preschool bedroom television and subsequent physical aggression and ADHD symptoms. For girls, inconsistent extracurricular sport amplified the relationship between having a preschool bedroom television and subsequent shyness. Conclusion: For boys, bedroom television may inhibit adequate social preparedness which may unexpectedly counter the intended benefits of sport and thus, translate into higher physical aggression and ADHD symptoms. For girls having grown up with a bedroom television, limited exposure to social opportunities such as sport was associated with increased risk of later shyness. The findings corroborate that extracurricular sport is an important venue for enhancing social interactions and skill building.

Tremblay, Laurence 11 1900 (has links)
Contexte. / Background. The advent of new technologies in recent years has grown to be an integral part of today's reality. Previous studies show that excessive exposure to screens poses a significant risk to physical and psychological development of children. Identifying early factors that modify associated risks related to youth screen viewing habits is an important challenge to date. However, the literature shows little information on possible protective factors against such biopsychosocial risks. Over the years, participation in sporting activity has demonstrated its numerous benefits on the health of young people as well as for long-term development. Given the established benefits related to physical activity, it is quite plausible that participation in extracurricular sporting activity could act as a protective factor which counters the biopsychosocial risks related to excessive televiewing at a young age.
