A inovação na indústria calçadista brasileira: estudo de caso em empresas de pequeno porte / Innovation in the Brazilian Footwear Industry: Case Study in Small Companies

Vegas, Marina de Ferraz 25 August 2017 (has links)
Initially, it was necessary to know how the main evolutions of this artifact in its history occurred. Then we did a survey about the role of the footwear industry worldwide to contextualize the importance of increasing knowledge on this topic. We also investigate theoretical knowledge about innovation and fashion products. This phase was particularly important because we could understand how innovation operates in industries outside the fashion universe and transport to innovation in fashion products. As mentioned, this process of leading theories of innovation to the context of fashion products led us to propose a new perspective of categorization of innovative products. They are: new unknown products, new reformulated products and new ephemeral products. Finally, to advance in the investigation of how to innovate in this segment and propose guidelines for this industry, we analyze the development of products at footwear studios in the city of São Paulo. Through interviews with oral history methodology, we hear how is the product development of brands that offers differentiated products of the mass market is. In this way, this work led us to the proposal according to which to foment innovation in fashion products we need to contemplate in the companys management a sector or team with this focus, that is, a team whose activities are based on technical knowledge, theoretical and experimental development of products

Criação e desenvolvimento de produtos em empresas brasileiras de moda internacionalizadas: um estudo multicasos / Creation and development of products in internationalized fashion brazilian firms: a multicases study

Vicente, Decio Pereira 08 April 2009 (has links)
The main companies of the fashion sector, that have global performance, have been looking for extending their markets towards the ones named emergent markets, since the end of the 90s, and as their usual markets were saturated, Brazil has been invaded by those important companies through direct investment, franchises and licenses. Is social media the new drug that generates impulse buying? : A quantitative study on social media´s effect on impulse buying regarding fashion products and if it differs between men and women in Sweden

Lennartsson, Lina, Zeka, Adelina January 2021 (has links)
Social media is a phenomenon that is successively developing, and the usage is rising each day, which in turn has an impact on consumer behaviour. Hence, the new attributes that social media provides, both for businesses and individuals, are affecting the way people are acting when making a purchase. Due to these circumstances the purpose of this thesis was to investigate and understand how social media are affecting consumers impulse buying behaviour when purchasing fashion products, and to establish if there were any gender differences.  From previous research about impulse buying and the online environment, seven hypotheses were created. The empirical findings were conducted using a quantitative method through an online survey with standardized and mainly closed-ended questions. The data were collected from 375 respondents, whereby there were at least 100 of each gender. Following, all the hypotheses were tested through the statical software SPSS.  In the conclusion of the thesis, it is established that two triggers, market stimuli and individual traits, had a moderate effect on consumers impulse buying tendency while the other categories did not at all. However, it was confirmed that all triggers had a correlation to impulse buying on social media. Additionally, it was determined that there were a gender differences in all the tested hypotheses, proving that there is a difference between men and women regarding impulse buying on social media. Although, the research is providing space and opportunity to include other aspects and develop the research field further in future research.
