My thesis deals with demographic development of Czech population in 1995 - 2011. Basically the demography is science that analyzes the reproduction of the human population and suggests how the population will change in the future. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I will discuss literal review of the chosen topic. This theoretical part was divided into 3 sections. I define demography as a science, demographic development of Czech Republic and geographic information systems. In the application part of my work I will analyze the demographic development in practical way. I will analyze demographic trends on the level of municipalities with extended competence (ORP). The basis for the creation of demographic trends will create quality database of ORP, where will be included basic demographic indicators, which are mortality, natality, abortion, marriage, divorce rate and migration

The main aim of this dissertation is to determine the global occurence of geografically non-indigenous plant species - Giant Hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum), Himalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera), Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonika), Sakhalin knotweed (Reynoutria sachalinensis) and Reynoutria x bohemika in selected locations of the South Bohemian region, for example in district of Český Krumlov and České Budějovice. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of selected localities where there is an occurrence of these plants and description of the above-mentioned invasive plant species and thier subsequent liquidation. The result of the dissertation (of the work) are the map´s outputs processed in the Geographic Information System, which record the global occurance of geografically non-indigenous plant species.

This thesis occupies with methodology of education of physical-geographical interests of Moravia and Silesia. The main part of this thesis creates proposal of proper collection of didactic material {--} learning text, worksheets and methodical handbook for teachers, focused on physical-geographical interests finding on the territory of Moravia and Silesia. Component part of this thesis is theoretical part which is processed with the aid of professional literatures which were resource for the creation of didactic material.

The aim of diploma work was to evaluate the spatial aspects of spa and wellness tourism, cultural tourism and golf tourism with a view to senior tourism. There were used two types of critesia in spatial analysis - tourism resources and infrastructure. Spatial model of tourism potential shows the places with the greatest potential to enlarge senior tourism. At the end some suggestions are given how to improve tourism offer for segment of seniors.

This work analyzes tourism intensity in the region of "střední Pootaví". Methods of each analysis and steps of questionairy survey are the main part of that work. Results of those analysis and results of questionairy survey are used as a base for the suggestion of new tourist product - product of rural tourism.

Morphological-taxonomical study of gryporhynchid cestodes from Africa is presented. New material from Kenya, Senegal and Sudan was studied and we belong to 17 species in 8 orders - Amirthalingamia macracantha (Joyeux et Baer, 1935) Bray, 1974; Anomotaenia riccii (Fuhrmann et Baer, 1943) Baer et Bona, 1960; Cyclustera magna (Baer, 1959) Bona, 1975; Cyclustera sp.; Dendrouterina macrosphincter (Fuhrmann, 1909) Baer et Bona, 1960; Neogryporhynchus sp.; Paradilepis lloydi (Southwell, 1926) Spasski, 1954; Paradilepis maleki (Khalil, 1961); Paradilepis urceina Bona, 1975; Paradilepis urceus (Wedl, 1855) Joyeux et Baer, 1950; Parvitaenia macrocoleo Bona, 1975; Parvitaenia macropeos (Wedl, 1855) Baer et Bona, 1960; Parvitaenia megascolecina Bona, 1975; Parvitaenia purpurea Johri, 1959; Parvitaenia samfyia Mettrick, 1967; Valipora ardeolae (Singh, 1952) Baer et Bona, 1960 and Valipora mutabilis (Linton, 1927). Known larval stages and adults from Africa are presented in review of species.

The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the extent of the acquired map skills of pupils in Slovak primary and secondary schools in three age categories (11, 15 and 18 years old); and then to compare the results with similar research conducted in the Czechia. The individual characteristics such as age, gender, and mark are taken into account whilst evaluating the results. These affected the overall performance of students in the test of their map skills. The thesis is firstly describing theoretical views of skills and then describes specific pupils' map skills. Then it characterizes curricular documents of Slovakia and compares them with curricular documents of the Czechia. Furthermore, it also concentrates on results of content analysis of map skills contained in the Slovak and Czech curricular documents, embodiments Hanus (2012). The following section specifies the didactic test of map skills and is dedicated to the analysis of respondents. The research part of the thesis has research sample which is evaluated from a number of indicators such as gender, age, grade, popularity of the subject of Geography, and the type of school attended. The presented diploma thesis focuses on the map skills' problematic, which is currently becoming widespread in the Czech research environment. In contrast to the previous empirical studies, this thesis is devoted to the thematic map skills and their level of development among students of grammar schools and geographically oriented branches of university studies. Due to the significant differences between used cartographic methods of visualization on thematic maps the main aim of this diploma thesis is to identify and explain used cartographic method's influence on the level of these important skills. To achieve this aim, it was necessary to focus on different parts of the curriculum (intended, implemented, learned) and to use several scientific methods because this topic hasn't been well established yet and therefore only few theoretical and empirical studies dealt with this specific issue. Firstly, the review of literature focused on thematic cartography, map skills and on identifying their level of development among students was done. The diploma thesis deals with geographical aspect of an origin of ice hockey players in selected countries (Czechia, Finland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland) The aim of the thesis is to find out how succesful is the training of professional players in these countries on municipal and club level and a consecutive identification of ice hockey hotbeds. The thesis is divided to the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the geography of sport and the issue of ice hockey, its history, organization and spreading. The figures of the players, trained in the above mentioned countries, their wages in the NHL, the number of starts at the Olympics and points and the number of the highest league titles are the basis of the analytic part. The figures were used for correlation analysis and comparison. The results show that a territorial diversification of ice hockey players production appears in the most of the countries and the traditional hotbeds prevails, but new ones are developed.

The primary object of the master thesis is creating escape route analysis in 3D model of a building. Analysis is created using mainly open source tools like PostgreSQL with PostGIS and pgRouting extensions.
