This thesis is dedicated photogrammetric image analysis that makes it possible from your photos with the help selected methods to determine the location and dimensions of objects recorded on them. There are explained the basics of photogrammetry and its current application. Chapters focused on digital imaging describing its characteristics, treatment options and key points findability for the scene calibration. For a comprehensive view are in this thesis introduced examples of existing software, its possibilities and use in practice.

Purpose of this thesis is to introduce reader to 3D parametric construction tools and their application with dynamic geometry. Project introduces basic concepts of parametric construction in computer geometry, summary of the state of the art, description of selected parametric geometry software, evaluation of its features and design of 3D parametric geometry library for use in computer graphics followed by implementation of said library and user interface application for evaluation.

The aim of this thesis is to create a web portal dedicated to teaching of a topic of high school mathematics - Functions. The work contains sections focusing on creating didactic teaching materials, inclusion of ICT in teaching mathematics and sections dedicated to the creation of new www learning portal. It also discusses the dynamic mathematics software, GeoGebra, which is extensively used in this portal. The work is boosted by two studies which measure the suitability of the project for the purposes of teaching mathematics on secondary schools. Research was focused on teachers and high school pupils. The results and conclusions of the research part of the thesis point out how to modify the material, adapt it and thus make it more suitable for educational purposes. This thesis studies the open problem of packing rectangles. Is it possible to pack rectangles with dimensions 1/n x 1/(n+1) into a unit square? The aim of this thesis is analysis of the problem and the related algorithm. Attention will be focused mainly on the implementation of this algorithm and on study of its functioning. The incidence matrices of many combinatorial structures satisfy the so called rectangular rule, i.e., the scalar product of any two lines of the matrix is at most 1. We study a class of matrices with rectangular rule, the regular block matrices. Some regular block matrices are submatrices of incidence matrices of finite projective planes. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for regular block matrices, to be submatrices of projective planes. Moreover, regular block matrices are related to another combinatorial structure, the symmetric configurations. In particular, it turns out, that we may conclude the existence of several symmetric configurations from the existence of a projective plane, using this relationship. / Die Inzidenzmatrizen vieler kombinatorischer Strukturen erfüllen die sogenannte Rechtecksregel, d.h. das Skalarprodukt zweier beliebiger Zeilen der Matrix ist höchstens 1. Weiterhin wird eine Klasse von Matrizen mit Rechtecksregel untersucht, von denen einige auch Untermatrizen von Inzidenzmatrizen endlicher projektiver Ebenen sind. Es werden notwendige und hinreichende Bedingungen angegeben, wann dies der Fall ist. Darüberhinaus gibt es eine enge Beziehung zwischen dieser Klasse von Matrizen und einer anderen Struktur, den symmetrischen Konfigurationen. Es stellt sich unter anderem heraus, dass aus der Existenz einer projektiven Ebene mittels dieser Beziehung die Existenz verschiedener symmetrischer Konfigurationen gefolgert werden kann.

Let M=P(E) be a ruled surface. We introduce metrics of finite volume on M whose singularities are parametrized by a parabolic structure over E. Then, we generalise results of Burns--de Bartolomeis and LeBrun, by showing that the existence of a singular Kahler metric of finite volume and constant non positive scalar curvature on M is equivalent to the parabolic polystability of E; moreover these metrics all come from finite volume quotients of $H^2 \times CP^1$. In order to prove the theorem, we must produce a solution of Seiberg-Witten equations for a singular metric g. We use orbifold compactifications $\overline M$ on which we approximate g by a sequence of smooth metrics; the desired solution for g is obtained as the limit of a sequence of Seiberg-Witten solutions for these smooth metrics.

Der Vortrag erläutert, wie aus den Daten des OpenStreetMap-Projekts Karten erzeugt werden können. Neben dem Zusammensetzen einfacher Karten aus vorberechneten Tiles wird im Hauptteil erläutert, wie die Vektordaten zum Zeichnen benutzt werden können. Die Darstellung von Höhendaten schließt den Vortrag ab.
