Práce analyzuje některé problémy vizuální komunikace a interpretace vizuálních informací. Zaměřuje se na psychologické aspekty obrazového sdělení a proces jeho interpretace pozorovatelem. Nejprve definuje teoretické podklady z oblastí psychologie a některých poznatků fyziologie zraku a myšlení. Dále analyzuje obecný proces přijetí a strukturace obrazové informace kognitivní a emoční složkou našeho vnímání. Ve vytyčeném rámci pak vybírá poznatky především z oboru estetiky, které konkrétněji definují účinky různých prvků obrazového sdělení na podvědomí pozorovatele. Na skutečných příkladech jsou pak prezentovány popisované přístupy. Na závěr je zmíněn teoretický rámec sledování účinku podvědomé složky vizuálního sdělení a uvedeny některé výsledky statistik vztahujících se k problematice. Celá práce je zaměřena na možnost přímého využití v praxi podniku z pohledu jeho kvalitní vizuální prezentace a komunikace.

Kūrybinis baigiamasis bakalauro darbas. Darbą sudaro du tapybos darbai (diptikas) „Transformacija“. Pateikiama vizualių kūrybos analogų, interpretuojančių laišką, pateikiami kūrybinio darbo eskizai, aptariamos jų kūrimo aplinkybės, idėjos paieška ir kitimas. Kūrybinis darbas buvo atliktas su užuomina į konceptualizmo tendencijas. Bakalauro darbo „Transformacija“ tema paliesta, norint atkreipti žiūrovo dėmesį į tai, kad XXI a. spausdintinis laiškas tampa supaprastintas, naudojamas pieštinis raštas, šriftas atlieka daugiau informacinę funkciją. Peržiūrėjus nemažai kūrybinių darbų, kurių tematika „Laiškas“, padariau išvadą, kad kiekvienas objektas, turintis savyje informacijos, gali būti laikomas laišku. Bakalauro baigiamasis darbas buvo atliktas aliejiniais dažais. Kūrybinis darbas, savo atlikimo technika, spalviniu koloritu, kompoziciniu spendimu leidžia perteikti temą. Kūrybinis dviejų dalių darbas „Transformacija“ nėra skirtas konkrečiai aplinkai. Darbai gali būti eksponuojami: parodinėse erdvėse, visuomeninės paskirties interjere, bei privačiuose būstuose. / There is creative Bachelor Paper of painting. Work consists of two work of painting (diptych) “Transformation”. Presentation of visual art analogy, interpreting letter, the creative work, sketches and discuss the development context, the ideas of search and transition. The creative work has been carried out with a hint of conceptualism trends. Bachelor's work "Transformation" theme touched upon in order to draw the viewer's attention to the fact that the twenty-first century printed message is simplistic, using a drawing letter, font out more information function. A review of creative work, whose themes "Letter", I concluded that every object has in itself the information may be considered by letter. Bachelor’s Final was carried out in oil paint. Creative work, his technique, color coloring, composition by decision of permits to convey the theme. The creative work of the two parts of "transformation" is not addressed specifically to the environment. Works may be displayed: exhibition spaces, public room, and private homes.

Meninis tyrimas nagrinėja kūrybinį procesą, kurio atspirties tašku tampa kūrybinė krizė – idėjų nebūvimas, nežinojimas ir neapsisprendimas. Tema nagrinėjama išskiriant esminius elementus, kurie apsprendžia konkretų, mano kūrybinio grafikos projekto, kūrimo procesą magistrantūros studijų laikotarpiu. Šis tyrimas yra savo kūrybinio proceso stebėjimas ir analizavimas išskiriant pagrindinius individualaus kūrybinio proceso elementus ir juos nagrinėjant per teorinį diskursą ir asmeninę patirtį. / Artistic research investigate creative process. The starting-point here is creative crisis - situation with no ideas, then artist feel confused and can not find a solution. I analyze the essentual elements of the subject. These elements determine the process of my particular project what I create during my postgraduate study period. This research based on self-examination and individual creative process in contemplation within the theoretical discourse and personal experience.

Procedurally generated noise textures play a key part in the world of computer graphics. However, their computation is very time consuming. Generating noise for rendering of photo-realistic scenes may require large amount of hardware resources. Efficient use of these resources is beneficial in the trend of ever-increasing amount of details in the rendered scenes. In this thesis we develop a series of optimized algorithms for the popular Improved Perlin noise and the new Gabor noise. We will employ SIMD features of the modern generation of general purpose processors to achieve efficient use of hardware resources. This thesis develops an application for interactive experiments with BRDF functions. Arbitrary BRDF function may be specified with an analytic formula, including arbitrary number of parameters. A simple scene is displayed, using specified BRDF. The parameters can be modified which has an immediate impact to the scene's appearance. The application can utilize a programmable GPU for high speed of rendering.

This thesis describes a procedural hair generator that is able to generate hair from just a few hairs, called hair guides, which are directly modeled by a 3d artist. The procedural hair generator is a part of Stubble project -- a tool for hair modeling in Autodesk Maya. The procedural hair generator can generate hair during rendering, thus avoiding storage of hair geometry in a scene file, which makes the rendering process very efficient. Furthermore, hair can be generated interactively and displayed by OpenGL during modeling in Maya. Generated hair geometry is mainly defined by interpolation from the mentioned hair guides; however it is also influenced by many hair properties. These properties can change hair geometry using noise functions, define hair color, width and more. To determine hair root positions on a given triangular mesh I use my own mesh sampling algorithm that generates random samples on a triangular mesh according to a density defined by a 2-dimensional texture. My sampling algorithm uses an innovative way of sampling from a discrete probability distribution, which can be used in other applications than mesh sampling.

The thesis is made up of two parts - theoretical and practical one. The theoretical one deals with the creation of unique personality of Josef Váchal and in the historical context, evaluates how much his creative realization is connected with his philosophy and lifestyle. The most attention is paid to his creations with natural themes. The practical part is closely connected with the findings gathered in the theoretical part, based on which a collection of author's graphics was created. The collection is accompanied by an author's diary and a collection of photos. The whole thesis is completed by picture attachments to both theoretical and practical part.

Work purpose: to create a porgramme which could transform existent view to specialised squares of small scale, attributing a characteristic colour, according to the needs of a consumer. Conclusions: 1. In order to creat a specilaized transformation system of raster views the best way suggested is to apply a „Reduction/Expansion method“, which helps to lose the least amount of graphical information. 2. Specialized transformation system of raster views (in terms of C++) is created, which transforms existent view to specialised squares of small scale, attributing a characteristic colour, according to the needs of a consumer.

Esminis darbų atlikimo procesas – per specialiai paruoštas klišes (šilkografiniai tinklai padengti specialia šviesai jautruma turinti emulsija),ant popieriaus dengiamas tam tikrų dažų sluoksnis. Tai ilgas ir labai kruopštus darbas, reikalaujantis daug pastangų laiko ir kantrybes, bet tuo pačiu metu suteikiantis labai turtingą meninį, grafinį vaizdą, kuris manau būtinas, kuriant išskirtinius darbus. / Main purpose of my work was to create twelve images, transpierced with symbols, codes and magic realism. In my pictures I tried to hit a creatures of my imagination ore my dreams. I hope that my imagery will turn in to a creative dialogue between me and viewer…All twelve pictures done in silkscreen technology. I think that this technology gives picture unusual feeling and unexpectedness... All my pictures done using CMYK colour palette. CMYK short for cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, and often referred to as process color or four color is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, also used to describe the printing process itself. The CMYK model works by partially or entirely masking certain colors on the typically white background (that is, absorbing particular wavelengths of light). Such a model is called subtractive because inks “subtract” brightness from white.
