Velká hospodářská krize 30. let 20. století a její důsledky pro Československo / Great Depression in thirties of 20th century and its consequences for Czechoslovakia

Valenta, David January 2008 (has links)
My thesis deals with the Great Depression on the 1930's, which was one of the biggest economic disasters of last century. It follows especially the course and consequences of the crisis in Czechoslovakia. There are still many questions about this event and economists of whole world have never agreed on the only explanation, which could describe and solve all the causes and circumstances of Great Depression. In addition, there are also many views that the crisis had influence not only in economic sphere, but also had the social and political impacts. First part deals with international connections of Great Depression and searches causations of crisis in economic theory and describes the birth of Great Depression in United States. Second and third parts analyze the beginning and running of the crisis in Czechoslovakia and deal with particular sections of economy. The fourth part summaries economic and political effects of the crisis in Czechoslovakia and shows how the country faced up to depression.

Čínsko-africká hospodářská spolupráce: vybrané problémy / Sino-african economic cooperation

Stará, Veronika January 2008 (has links)
A topic sino-african relations is in a Czech literature overlook. An idea that there are only few reasons for which China and Africa should maintain some important relations is misconception. The sino-african relations have a sixty years long history from a help during the national wars for independence, ideological belongings to a current economic cooperation which reflects a chinese industrial need for raw materials. The economic cooperation lays on a political agreement, an investment activity and a vast aid provided. Chinese demand for african raw materials increses revenue of african countries which are abundant in demanded raw materials and accelarate their development. Through all chinese statements it uses its stronger position against disunited african states which still look for a way how to gain from the sino-african cooperation in the future. China turns a blind eye and ignore critical situations in some african states and misuse non-democratical groups there for its own benefit. At the same time it is clear that it cannot long forever. China will have to participate in solving african problems to protects its own matters there.

Voborníková, Zuzana January 2014 (has links)
In my dissertation I characterize the role of the state in France in the late 20th century and I use specific examples to show the success of the economic policies of the state . For this reason, in the theoretical part I describe economic and political development of France, I compare it with selected countries and I point out French specifics. In the analytical part, I analyze the current state of the French economy, watching the macroeconomic indicators (inflation, unemployment, GDP , balance of payments). I discuss the importance of French clusters, public enterprises, the share of French companies in multinational companies and the important role of the state in various sectors of the economy. I conclude that, despite the dominant role of the state in the French economy, France achieves some of the best economic results in the world.

Verner, Marek January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis aims to analyze and evaluate the structure of the labour market in different economic cycles in the Czech Republic during 2004-2014 and compare reciprocity with German labour market, which is closest to the Czech. The theoretical part deals with general issues in the labour market, the economic cycle and the development of the global economic crisis. The work confirms the hypothesis that nowadays in 2014, four years after the economic crisis that hit the Czech economy in 2008-2010, the structure of the labour market in the Czech Republic has changed compared to the years before crisis. It also partially confirms the minor hypothesis that labour market indicators still haven´t reached the level which Czech Republic had before the crisis. The unemployment rate is still not at pre-crisis levels, but employment improved compared to 2008
