Klára Setničková Dissertation called Racial hygiene in the Nazi Germany briefly describes the development of the world eugenics emphasizing in the first place its birth and development in Germany and its progressive applying in practice. Reader will find here information concerning the "negative" eugenics covered by Nuremberg laws, sterilization and extermination of mentally ill people or people of "bad" racial origin etc. Also the "positive" eugenics will be mentioned, founding the Lebensborn houses, Germanization of the children etc. Then the work slowly goes toward the Conference at Wansee, to the birth of the idea of final solution of the Jewish question, description of selected concentration camps and ghettos. As a logical outcome of this work I consider joining of the last chapter concerning the Nuremberg Process with German medical practioners charged of brutal experiments on people. Even description as such of the selected experiments is not missing, or mentioning of anthropological survey dealing with collections of Jewish skeletons differing from the norm. The aims of the Master's Thesis were: to analyze job satisfaction and to reveal the abidance by rules of mental hygiene among the employees of the primary school. The theoretical part describes basic concepts of job satisfaction, factors of job satisfaction and theories of work motivation. Questions of mental hygiene, factors of mental health and basic principles of good mental health are explained too. The practical part then discovers problematic factors of job satisfaction and critical points of mental hygiene among the employees of the primary school. The research was carried out thanks to these methods: the analysis of webpage, questionnaire surveys and an interview. The results of the research are well-arranged in tables, graphs and diagrams in the practical part. The most important findings and recommendation can be found in final parts and in the conclusion of this Master's Thesis.

This work deals with the hygienic quality of milk, the possibilities of its influence in the barn in the process of breeding and in its acquisition. The theoretical part describes in detail the various components of milk, such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates and focuses on hy-giene of the milk before and after milking. There is also described heat treatment of milk, including cattle diseases that affect milk production. In the practical part evaluates the qual-ity of the milk sold in selected farm. Starting from the results of laboratory analyzes of milk, which are assessed according to the season and the state of health of dairy cows.

Vliv skladovacích podmínek na kvalitativní ukazatele masa lovné zvěře / Effect of storage conditions on qualitative indicators of game meat

This work deals with the health and meat hygiene of venison and especially its appropriate storage. The aim is to find relationships between cooling and freezing game to bring a deeper insight into the work of meat from wildlife animals to achieve superior quality and taste characteristics unchanged pheasant meat. The basis of the whole work is a laboratory analysis of forty meat samples, which were obtained from local organizations involved in the management of game. In this analysis we are monitored four basic parameters: the content of water, fat, protein, and the connective tissue protein, which are major predictive value for a particular game palatability. It was found that exist statistically significant dependence between proteins and connective tissue protein, protein and water, fat and water. It was not possible to reject the null hypothesis about the differences between refrigerated and frozen samples of water, fat, protein and collagen. Conclusions measurements were compared with the available international and professional Czech literature.

This dissertation deals with not fully explored area of daily life, a personal hygiene. The main period which this work dwells on is the turn of the 19th and 20th century but sometimes I need to go further to the past when the fundamentals of the personal hygiene were laid. The work tries to devone the conditions of the hygiene which were influenced by sociocultural as well as scientific and technical factors. It also studies the personal hygiene including care of body, hair, teeth, cosmetics and body scent alike. Among these topics belong linen and clothes. One of the highlighted aims is revealing the function of spas (especially modern balneology) and up-and-coming physical education and sport in the increasing standarts of the personal hygiene. The heuristic base is composed of contemporary specialized literature and press as well as memoirs and encyclopeadias.

Syndrom vyhoření u sester v intenzivní péči / Burnout by Nurses in Intensive Care

Burnout by nurses in intensive care Abstract: Objective of this thesis was to determine incidence of the risk of burnout by nurses in intensive care in the Motol University Hospital in Prague, compare to risk of burnout among nurses in intensive care for childern and adults and by age, sex, marital status, education, length of experience in health care and on the current department, satisfaction and performance in the workplace. The research method for data collection were two anonymous questionnaires: one prepared by author of the thesis and a standardized questionnaire by dr. Pines to determine the risk of burnout. It was found that more than hlaf of nurses in FN Motol had low risk of burnout and has not demonstrated that nurses have on children's or adult wards increased risk. Results confirmed that discontent and the increasing intensity of stress in the workplace is proportional to the risk of burnout. This research confirmed that although most nurses achieved good results has been shown a high percentage of nurses with alarmig score and even burnout. Therefore we should not ignore this issure, but rather to warn him and avoid unpleasant consequences through educational seminars, pleasant working environment and do not overload nurses.
