This diploma work focuses on themes of psychic pressure, psychic health, mental hygiene and its exercise in the corporate practice. The main interest of the work is to survey the working conditions in the Czech Republic and to find main weaknesses in terms of stressful working environment. After analysing the main problems the work attempts to propose a solution -- the establishment of a Centre for Relaxation and Mental Hygiene for overstress bearing employees. The theoretical part of this work concentrates on the complex informational base of human psyche, work pressure and its all context, and also informs about principles of mental hygiene. The practical part tries to find out the level of awareness among the workforce in respect of mental hygiene as well as the prospective demand for services of the Centre for Relaxation and Mental Hygiene. The main contribution of this work is the attempt to inform the public about these issues and to propose a possible solution for mainly problematic working conditions in the Czech Republic.

Impulse to write master's thesis was effort to use knowledge from book "7 habits of highly effective people" by Stephen Covey in practice in company Green Ways. Experiment was chosen as method of research. The goal of master's thesis was verifying hypothesis that certain volume of (non)work activities should lead to better work results in concrete amount. Experimental stimulus as (non)work activities influenced experimental group (10 people from company Green Ways) but did not infulenced control group (another 10 people from company Green Ways). Research lasted from the 2nd September till 3rd November 2013. As conclusion it was realised that hypothesis was not confirmed. This certain volume of activities did not lead to supposed work results (quantitative results). As people from experimental group are concerned, side effect of research for them were different findings from (non)work topics (qualitative results of survey).

The theoretical part defines and describes characteristics of management and mental hygiene. The practical part contains hypothesis related to mental hygiene. Based on the hypothesis, there was compiled and evaluated a questionnaire. That was the main basis for the evaluation of hypotheses. The result is a summary of findings about mental hygiene of the construction engineering managers.

This diploma thesis focuses on stress factors and their possible effect on the teachers in a selected school. The theoretical part describes stressful and risk factors, which negatively influence the occupation of a teacher and therefore affect teachers' mental health. Not only stress and stressful situations are described in this chapter but also their causes and possible techniques to manage them. This part also deals with occupational burnout and its most common causes. Further, the occupational burnout prevention and relaxation techniques to avoid the burnout are described. The last important topic in the theoretical part is mental hygiene and how is mental hygiene perceived. This topic also concentrates on principles of mental hygiene, which are considered to be a tool for supporting mental health and can help avoid the mentioned syndrome. The final theoretical part describes professional development as a kind of protection of mental hygiene and gives examples of selected specific techniques. The practical part of the diploma thesis contains a research, which is focused on stressful factors influencing the teachers working in Soukromá střední škola a Základní škola, s.r.o. in Mladá Boleslav. This thesis deals with alimentary diseases in selected countries of Southeast Asia. The theoretical part of the thesis describes food safety and nutritional sufficiency, which is often related to individual alimentary diseases. They are divided according to the originators of the disease to viral, bacterial and parasitic. The ways of the most common transmission of the disease agent, their progression, prevalence and incidence in the three selected countries of Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar) are described for the following diseases: rotavirus infections and hepatitis, cholera and typhoid, schistosomiasis and taeniasis. Important risk factors that significantly affect the occurrence of these foodborne diseases are defined in the thesis. The most serious foodborne diseases in Southeast Asia are typhoid fever, norovirus infections and hepatitis A. The most effective preventive measures are vaccination programs, improved personal and communal hygiene and access to safe water.

The first part is theoretical and focuses on findings from the literature, ergonomics, typology, material requirements, current trends and market situation with children's furniture. The second part is practical and focuses on a design from the nursery room and selected a piece of furniture (in this case: changing table), alternative solutions within the chosen layout, drafting visualizations and drawings. Furniture items, children's rooms are designed for preschoolers. The selection process is taken into account ergonomics, applicable standards, safety, health requirements and needs of a particular child.

The Dissertation work presented herein monitors the significance of oral hygiene in adults, while aiming at preventive measures leading to lowering mouth cavity illness occurrences. Within the theoretical part, I focus on the delineation of important terms relating to preventive care for oral cavity, information concerning anatomy, physiology of oral cavity, influence of foods and other problems within the oral cavity, among which there are tooth cavities and diseases of gingiva. In the practical part of the work I aim on the assessment of the level of oral health, trough the help of applied clinical research methodologies and investigative tooth indices such as API, PBI, and CPITN. Furthermore, educational materials are passed on, for the purpose of dissemination of needed information in the area of dental hygiene, teaching correct teeth brushing techniques, and utilization of other between-the-tooth tools. The following graphic presentation reveals the level of dental health. As well, within my work, I have verified that, within a larger proportion of patients an improved oral hygiene ensued; thanks to educational program together with an improved home oral hygiene care. Familiarity, care of oral cavity and dental hygiene are the most important prerequisites for each individual, when attempting to improve dental health.

This diploma thesis focuses on problems of mental hygiene in the current managerial practices. The theoretical part reveals to readers basic concepts and background to this isme for more understanding. It deals gradually with the role of mental hygiene in an individual life, self-knowledge and selfmanagement, and last but not least, managerial practice. The main practical part presents three case studies, relating to mental hygiene and its application in the world of managers. Research objective is trough a semi-structured interviews with managers to identify to which extent they apply mental hygiene in personal and professional life. After the discovery of deficiencies will attempt to find concrete advice and recommendations needed to improve some of the monitored questions. Finally will be respondents collating and analyzing each other. The main contribution of this thesis is a real insight into the life of managers and the discovery of the importance and the role attributed to mental hygiene.
