Separation and Execution of graphical engine on a cross platform IDE to enhance performance

Hasan, Mohammad Rashedul January 2010 (has links)
“Biosim” is a simulation software which works to simulate the harvesting system. This system is able to design a model for any logistic problem with the combination of several objects so that the artificial system can show the performance of an individual model. The system will also describe the efficiency, possibility to be chosen for real life application of that particular model. So, when any one wish to setup a logistic model like- harvesting system, in real life he/she may be noticed about the suitable prostitution for his plants and factories as well as he/she may get information about the least number of objects, total time to complete the task, total investment required for his model, total amount of noise produced for his establishment in advance. It will produce an advance over view for his model. But “Biosim” is quite slow .As it is an object based system, it takes long time to make its decision. Here the main task is to modify the system so that it can work faster than the previous. So, the main objective of this thesis is to reduce the load of “Biosim” by making some modification of the original system as well as to increase its efficiency. So that the whole system will be faster than the previous one and performs more efficiently when it will be applied in real life. Theconcept is to separate the execution part of ”Biosim” form its graphical engine and run this separated portion in a third generation language platform. C++ is chosenhere as this external platform. After completing the proposed system, results with different models have been observed. The results show that, for any type of plants of fields, for any number of trucks, the proposed system is faster than the original system. The proposed system takes at least 15% less time “Biosim”. The efficiency increase with the complexity of than the original the model. More complex the model, more efficient the proposed system is than original “Biosim”.Depending on the complexity of a model, the proposed system can be 56.53 % faster than the original “Biosim”.

Norões, Maíra Macêdo January 2015 (has links)
Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências Biológicas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Farmacologia, Florianópolis, 2015. / Made available in DSpace on 2016-05-24T17:39:35Z (GMT). Esta estratégia pode representar uma nova abordagem terapêutica para o tratamento da artrite reumatoide com menos efeitos colaterais sistêmicos.<br> / Abstract : Leflunomide and methotrexate are disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs classically used systemically in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and clinical success is related to inhibition of proliferation of immune cells and cytokines in the joint cavity. Based on these potential inhibitory effects, our central hypothesis is that the direct administration of these drugs on the spinal cord is able to reduce articular incapacitation, edema and synovial leukocyte infiltratio induced in a model of LPS-induced arthritis. Female Wistar rats, weighing between 200 and 220 g were given the drugs intrathecally 2 hours before administration of LPS (30 ng/ 50 µl; i.a.) in the knee joints previously sensitized with carrageenan (300 µg/ 20 µl; i.a.). Inflammatory-induced incapacitation was measured hourly by the paw elevation time (TEP; s) in 1-min period of observation, and edema was evaluated by the articular diameter increase (DA; cm) taken just after each incapacitation measurement. After the 5-h period of observation parameters the synovial fluid was collected from articular capsule for total leukocyte count (CT; cells/ mm3). Intrathecal administration of teriflunomide ( active metabolite of teriflunomide) (0.1 and 20 µg/ 10 µl) and methotrexate (25 g/ 10 µl) were able to reduce cell migration to the synovial fluid, incapacitation and joint edema induced by LPS, unlike when given by intraperitoneal route, suggesting that the interaction site for antiarthritic effects of drugs was restricted to spinal cord microenvironment. Co-administration with uridine (10 µg) just reverses the inhibitory effects produced by the lower dose of intrathecal teriflunomide, suggesting that only in the higher concentrations of the drug mechanism of action independent from inhibition of de novo synthesis of nucleotides. Co-administration of intrathecal teriflunomide (0.1 µg) and bumetanide (60 µg), a blocker of the dorsal root reflex did not potentiate the inhibitory effect of teriflunomide on the reduction of incapacitation, edema and cell migration, suggesting that inhibition of dorsal root reflex and neurogenic inflammation are involved in spinal action of teriflunomide. Co-administration of teriflunomide (0,1 µg) and methotrexate (25 µg) intrathecally caused a summation effect on inhibition of joint inflammation, probably due to the addition of methotrexate immunomodulatory mechanism of inhibition on cytokine synthesis released by glial cells. Thus, this study proposes that the intrathecal methotrexate and leflunomide modulates the peripheral inflammation by inhibiting on increase of cytokines in spinal cord that sensitizes neuronal terminals involved in nociceptive signaling andinduction of neurogenic inflammation. This strategy may represent a novel therapeutic approach for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with fewer systemic side effects.

Podpora vývoje rozšíření PHP CMS / Tools for PHP CMS extension development

Schmied, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This thesis seeks to improve the development process of open source content management system extensions with particular focus on functional extensions of Joomla CMS. It starts by analyzing current open source CMS market to conclude that most of it is dominated by systems implemented in the PHP programming language. Standard tools used throughout the PHP development process are then analyzed to show that fully-featured integrated development environments are not used as often as with compiled languages. It's shown, however, that modern open source IDEs can deliver performance gains even when used for development in a scripting language. The focus is then shifted from general purpose PHP development to the specifics of CMS extension development. Three major open source systems (WordPress, Drupal and Joomla) are presented with focus on their extensibility. It's demonstrated that some features of Joomla's module system, which are not present in the other systems in comparison, are making it much harder to establish an efficient development workflow that would take full advantage of an IDE. Two recommended workflows for Joomla extension development are then presented while pointing out their disadvantages. Based on this analysis, a new development workflow is designed incorporating yet-to-be-developed functional extensions of Eclipse IDE to solve the problems. The Eclipse platform is then described, pointing out some key technologies used to implement these functional extensions. Finally, major components of the implementation are described.

Vývojové prostředí pro vývoj skriptů v jazyce C# / An IDE for C# Script Development

Pelc, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to explore tools for using the C# programming language to create scripts - short programs for quick and easy solving of small, usually one-time temporary tasks that usually arise during the work on larger projects. In the thesis we analyze existing tools and identify their advantages and disadvantages, formulate requirements for our own tool, and develop our own tool. The result of the thesis is a small integrated development environment (IDE) for quick and easy authoring of scripts in the C# language. The IDE offers sufficient features to allow easy authoring and debugging of programs consisting primarily of a single C# source code file. In the work we make heavy use of the NRefactory library for syntactic and semantic analysis of the C# source code. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Lúcia Penha Cardoso, Carla January 2004 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2014-06-12T15:55:21Z (GMT).

Evolution des IDE en Tunisie : déterminants et effets sur la croissance / Evolution of FDI in tunisia : determinants and effects on growth

Samoud, Iheb 25 July 2013 (has links)
Addressing the issue of the attractiveness of foreign direct investment is a major concern for countries like Tunisia. Since the 1970s, the attractiveness of FDI became a key variable in the country’s economic growth, as shown by the adoption of different legislative and regulatory measures meant to create a favorable environment for investors. However, given the amount of efforts invested and benefits granted, the results come across as being pretty disappointing and all remain far from the goals and hopes initially raised. In this context, it is interesting to study the FDI determinants in Tunisia and their impact on the local economy especially in terms of national growth. To this end, we will focus on the important role played by the human capital, its effects on growth and the way it interacts with the flows of FDI. The core of the thesis will indeed revolve around this theme. The statistical and econometric analysis undertaken in the dissertation will show that for the past two decades, FDI in Tunisia have been the result of a few oil exploration projects and privatization of big public companies. It is mainly the annuitant sector (hydrocarbon) and the non-renewable privatization projects that have attracted the most FDI, whereas industrial FDI remain polarized by the textile-Apparel industries. It also appears that, privatizations and energy sector set aside, FDI remain weak. Not only that, these operations have not triggered a dynamic input on FDI for these sectors. In conclusion, the results clearly prove that progress in FDI and school enrollment ratio (human capital) in Tunisia has had little effect on the Tunisian economic growth. It also has been brought to our attention that, taken alone, FDI have a positive impact on growth; however they fail to create spillover effects.

Projectional editor for domain-specific languages / Projectional editor for domain-specific languages

Dvořák, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)
Title: Projectional editor for domain-specific languages Author: Ondřej Dvořák Department: Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems Supervisor: RNDr. Michal Malohlava Abstract: Programming is a craft requiring a good tooling. One of tools selected as crucial for software development is an integrated development environment (IDE) that allows to maintain most of the general-purpose languages. Domain-specific languages grow in a popularity last years, thus it is necessary to support them by IDE as well. Not just a textual or graphical form of DSL sources is suitable for their maintenance, so does the combination of them. One of the promising approaches is represented by a novel method called a projectional editing. Its objective is to show different visualization forms of program source code, combine and manipulate with them at one place. The thought is typically realized by a projectional editor. In this thesis we design a projectional editor for domain-specific languages and provide its experimental implementation. It analyzes potential approaches to a projectional editing and designs their suitable realization in Microsoft Visual Studio. It provides a universal implementation of a projectional editor on the top of Visual Studio as well as on the top of a standalone application. Moreover, it supports...

The general objective of this thesis was to stablish protocols to obtain and conserve agouti (Dasyprocta leporina) sperm bred in captivity in the Brazilian semi-arid, aiming its sustainable production. The thesis was divided in three experiments. In the first one, we studied the influence of the interaction between two probes (quadratics and sine waves) and two stimulation protocols (continuous and in series) on the agouti sperm collection by electroejaculation efficiency. The most efficient interaction on this obtainment was the one with probes with rings associated with stimuli in series (4/7; 57%, P<0.05). In the second experiment we compared the cryoprotectant effects of different substances (glycerol, ethyleneglycol, dimethylsulfoxide, dimethylformamide) on epididymis sperm cryopreservation. The highest values on motility (39.5?4.6%), vigor (2.9?0.2) and membrane integrity (30.6?4.5%) were observed on the samples cryopreserved using glycerol when compared to those with ethyleneglycol and dimethylformamide, but there was no difference (P>0.05) when compared to the samples cryopreserved with dimethylsulfoxide. At last, we studied the effects of the methods to obtain sperm (electroejaculation vs epididymal collection) on post thawing sperm quality. The samples obtained by epididymal retrograde flushing showed values for motility of 25.0?10.9% and vigor 2.4?0.8, and those obtained by electroejaculation had 31.2?14.2% of motility and vigor of 2.2?0.7, however, without statistical difference (P>0.05), which shows the possibility to successfully use the epididymal sperm cryopreservation protocol on agouti ejaculated sperm. In conclusion, significant advances on obtainment and processing of agouti sperm were made, allowing the establishment of germplasm banks from sperm samples obtained from the epididymis or by electroejaculation.

Utvärdering av webbintegrerade utvecklingsmiljöer : Fördelar och begränsningar

Strömbom, David January 2017 (has links)
