Biometrická brána využívající kamer pro identifikaci osob / Biometric Gateway Using Camera to Identify People

Jelen, Vilém January 2019 (has links)
Biometric gateways are used to quickly and accurately identify people. Of the biometric characteristics, iris, face and fingerprints are commonly used. By combining them, better identification results can be achieved. The aim of this thesis is to create such a biometric gateway together with the control application. A combination of iris of both eyes and face is used, which is captured by cameras from three angles to increase accuracy. Neural networks are used to detect and extract face features. Iris recognition is realized using Daugman's algorithm.

Identifikace parametrů elasto-plastických modelů materiálu z experimentálních dat / Parameter Identification for Elastic-plastic Material Models from Experimental Data

Jeník, Ivan January 2015 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with the identification of the material flow curve from record of tensile test of smooth cylindrical specimen. First, necessary theory background is presented. Basic terms of incremental theory of plasticity, tensile test procedure and processing its outputs are described. Furthermore, possibilities of mathematical expression of the elastic-plastic material constitutive law, thus mathematical expression of the material flow curve itself. Mechanism of ductile damage of material is explained briefly as well. Overview of recent methods of the flow curve identification is given, focused on cases, when the stress distribution in a specimen is not uniaxial. That is either kind of analytic correction of basic formulas derived for uniaxial stress state, or application of mathematical optimization techniques combined with numerical simulation of the tensile test. Also unusual method of neural network is mentioned. For 8 given materials, the flow curve identification was performed using different methods. Namely by analytic correction, optimization, sequential identification and neural network. Algorithms of the last two methods were modified. Based on assessment of obtained results, application field and adjusting the parameters of single algorithms was recommended. It showed up, that an effective way to the accurate and credible results is the combination of different methods during flow curve identification procedure.

Rozšířená kvadraticky optimální identifikace a filtrace / Quadratically Optimal Augmented Identification and Filtration

Dokoupil, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
Simultaneous evaluation of the whole set of the model parameters of different orders together with an ability to track unmodeled dynamics are desired features in the tasks of parameter estimation. A technique handling with the factors produced by an augmented covariance (ACM) or information (AIM) matrices is considered to be an appropriate tool for designing multiple model estimation. This is where the name augmented identification (AI) by using the least-squares method was taken. The method AI attains numerical stability of the calculation of the conventional least squares method while in the same time, fully extracts information contained in the observation. In order to track time varying parameters can be found that all the information pertinent to recursive identification and thus to data driven forgetting is concentrated in ACM as well as in AIM. In this thesis will be introduced how to selective forgetting to ACM should be applied in an effective way. It means forget only a portion of accumulated information which will be further modified by the newest data included in the regressor. In the estimation problems the knowledge of the inner states of the identified system is often required. Because the augmented identification belongs within the class so called prediction error method (PEM), some rational requirements can be deduced. As a result, state filter should constitute optimization procedure minimizing the predicted error of given state space model representation with respect to the vector of states. The proposed scheme will considerably extend the family of algorithms based on processing of ACM (AIM) about augmented filtering (AF). This all will establish a comprehensive concept of parametric estimation that compared with conventional approaches is characterized by versatility, low demands on a priori process information and by excellent numerical properties (robust against overparametrization, capable solving the multiple model problem).

Metody a systémy prostorové identifikace RFID etiket / Spatial Identification Methods and Systems for RFID Tags

Povalač, Aleš January 2013 (has links)
Disertační práce je zaměřena na metody a systémy pro měření vzdálenosti a lokalizaci RFID tagů pracujících v pásmu UHF. Úvod je věnován popisu současného stavu vědeckého poznání v oblasti RFID prostorové identifikace a stručnému shrnutí problematiky modelování a návrhu prototypů těchto systémů. Popisuje úzkopásmové/širokopásmové měření vzdálenosti a metody odhadu směru signálu. Oba navržené scénáře rozmístění antén jsou v závěru ověřeny lokalizačním měřením v reálných podmínkách.

Volba vzdělávací dráhy v adolescenci: role genderových stereotypů a identifikace s matematikou / Career choice in adolescence: role of gender stereotypes and identification with mathematics

Louda, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Career choice in education and the acquired/achieved level of education are factors that influence social status of men and women. Despite the fact that women, on average, currently achieve a higher level of education than men, women's marketplace status and their height of salary often do not correspond to it. One of the reasons is a low proportion of women in mathematics-related subjects. The aim of this research was to investigate the role of gender stereotypes and identification with mathematics in career choice. In the theoretical part of this thesis, I introduce the basic terms related to gender and gender stereotypes, the role gender plays in institutions and the potential causes of gender differences in the performance in mathematics. In the empirical part, I analyse data from a questionnaire study investigating career choice, level of identification with mathematics, attitudes to courses in the curriculum and the level of gender stereotypes in Czech adolescents. The results suggest few differences between girls and boys in these areas. However, the level of identification with mathematics and the level of gender stereotypes in the career area are related to the educational career choice.

Identifikace autora ve forenzní lingvistice / Author identification in forensic linguistics

Nováková, Veronika January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on forensic linguistics, which is not well known field in the Czech academic environment, because only a forensic examiner is competent to carry out analyses of this kind. The aim of the thesis is to introduce theoretical base of forensic linguistics, especially the method of author's identification. If forensic linguist identifies an author, he/she must have two groups of texts - questioned material (texts of unknown origin) and comparative material (texts of a certain person). Forensic linguist examines the materials and he/she has to answer the question if the author of the questioned and comparative material is one person or not. The analysis is focused on author's individual language and style characteristics in the texts. This method is demonstrated in the thesis on a fictitious case. Conclusions of the analyses are worded in the form of the expert opinion, which contains the most considerable differences within texts. Key words: forensic profiling, individual identification, language level, disputed text authorship, analysis
