Konsolidace systémů správy identifikačních karet v prostředí VŠE v Praze / Harmonisation of Identification Card Management Systems at the University of Economics, Prague

Říha, Jan January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with problems of identification cards at the University of Economics, Prague. Its primary goal is to consider and evaluate the possibility of a transfer of the ID card management into the ISIS system. The thesis consists of four parts. The first one offers a complex analysis of the ID card management at the University. The second one analyses two ID card management systems: the NESA system, which is being used at the University now, and the ISIS system, which could also be used for the ID card management. The third part includes a proposal of adjustments in the ISIS system, which would make its ID card management implementation comply with the University's needs. The proposal describes general features of the system, relations to its environs and a graphical user interface. Finally the last part covers the actual state of the project and its differences from the proposal offered in the thesis. Information sources for the thesis were legal norms, University regulations and internal documents as well as the author's knowledge and experience gained through several years of the NESA system maintenance and numerous consultations with the University ID card management staff and ISIS developers. The main assets of this thesis lay in the comprehensive view of the ID card management at the University along with the proposal of the new ID card management system, which is to be integrated into ISIS.

Mezinárodní porovnání logistiky knihoven / International comparison of library logistics

Zubíková, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the untraditional application domain of logistics in libraries which is demonstrated with the help of concrete examples of libraries from the Czech Republic, Finland and Australia. The main goal of the thesis is to compare the library logistics of the City Library of Hradec Králové, the Municipal Library of Prague and the Turku City Library with the focus on the equipment and logistics technologies used, especially storage technologies and technologies for automatic identification. The most sophisticated technologies used in libraries are demonstrated using the example of the Australian Macquarie University Library and the project Eye over Prague. A classification of libraries according to their size in terms of the number of library items and the number of loans is created in the thesis and the appropriate library logistics solutions are then assigned to the particular classification groups.

Estimace modelu peer efektů se selektivním rozdělením žáků do tříd / Economics of Skill Formation

Supik, Lukáš January 2021 (has links)
vii Abstract People are by nature social beings. Most of us have a complex social network that connects us with other people in numerous aspects of our lives: neighbours, co-workers or peers in schools, and friends. Moreover, it is widely believed that people's behaviour is to some extent affected by others in their social networks, which is known as peer effects. Therefore, a precise understanding of the behaviour of an individual necessarily includes understanding her interactions with others within her social network. The first part of this thesis, literature review, summarizes contemporary research on peer effects, shows which aspects of human behaviour may be affected by social interactions, and highlights the importance of peer effects research. In the second part, the estimation of the linear- in-means peer effects model, we provide a detailed description of the model, derivations of its alternative formulations, and show the identification conditions. The main contribution of the second part is that we provide a step-by-step analysis of the linear-in-means peer effects model and detailed proofs of theorems in one place. The third part provides an empirical analysis of peer effects in education in the Czech Republic. In particular, we examine how the test scores of pupils are affected by their...

Rozpoznání oděvu osob v obrazovém signálu / Recognition of persons clothing in the video signal

Mlýnková, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
This paper is dealing with the detection clothes characteristics in the picture, for the use of person identification. These characteristics are described and categorized. It also deals with the design of the database structure, which works with masks and categories of characteristics for their processing. This work uses haar cascades to detect face and to determine the position of clothing for the purpose of color detection

Postupy a metody identifikace podnikových rizik a jejich příčin / Procedures and Methods of Identifying Comapny Risks and their Causes

Honza, Marek January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on a selection of company, which an identification of risks and their causes is elaborated for. The selected company is AB JET spol. s.r.o., where systematic identification of company's risks and their core causes, evaluation of discovered risks' weight and specification of possible negative consequences were performed by using method IPR (Identification of Processes and Risks). Processed results should be used as a template for suggestions of preventive measures.

Identifikace osob pomocí biometrie sítnice / Identification of persons using retinal biometry

Klimešová, Lenka January 2018 (has links)
This paper deals with identification of persons using retinal biometry. The retinal vasculature is invariant and unique to everyone, which determines it for biometric purposes. The first part of the work includes information about biometrics, biometric systems and reliability measures. The next part describes the principle of using experimental video ophthalmoscope, which was used for retinal vascular imaging and includes the literature research of use of retinal images for biometrics, feature extraction methods and similarity measures. Finally, two algorithms to use the input data are proposed and realized in programming environment MATLAB®. The methods are tested and evaluated on a data set from experimental video ophthalmoscope and on publicly available STRaDe and DRIVE databases.

Rizika textilních výrobních procesů při produkci kordu / Risks related to Textile Manufacturing Processes when Manufacturing a Cord Fabrics

Krábková, Nikola January 2018 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with the issue of risk management in the selected company, which focuses mainly on production of technical fabrics. The theoretical basis of the thesis includes the definition of basic concepts related to risk management, identification, analysis and evaluation, as well as the precise procedures established according to the relevant ISO standards issued by the Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing. The following section describes the current situation in the company, including introducing a process that identifies and identifies risks. These are then evaluated by the FMEA analysis and measures are proposed to reduce, possibly eliminate the risks.

Model Ball & Plate: simulace a návrh řízení / Ball & Plate Model: simulation and control design

Burlachenko, Sofiia January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the identification and regulation of the "Ball & Plate" model. The thesis contains a description of the existing real model and the relevant mathematical and simulation model. The root hodograph method and the state space method are used to calculate the controller, especially the feedback controller with integrator. The final part of the work is devoted to the 3D model construction using Simulink and SimScape, which describes and visualizes the behavior of the real model and enables simulation experiments to be performed quickly and easily.

NÁVRH OPTOVLÁKNOVÉHO BIOSENZORU SE SPEKTRÁLNÍ ANALÝZOU V BLÍZKÉ INFRAČERVENÉ OBLASTI / DESIGN OF FIBER-OPTIC BIOSENSOR WITH NEAR-INFRARED SPECTRAL ANALYSIS

Křepelka, Pavel January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with a measurement and interpretation of NIR spectra of bacterial cells and design of biosensor using this analytical technique. In the first chapter, there is introduction of current state of knowledge in the field of NIR spectroscopy in microbiology and technology of fiber optic biosensors. The summary of this chapter shows that NIR is a suitable technique for direct molecular analysis of bacteria, but it suffers from low sensitivity and insufficient interpretation of bacterial spectra. In the next part of the thesis, there is a theoretical background of spectral analysis techniques and technology of fiber optic sensors. In the practical part of this work, there is suggested the elimination of disadvantages of NIR spectroscopy in microbiology by a series of experiments used for interpretation of NIR spectra of bacteria and design of fiber optic sensor to increase sensitivity of this technique. In this work, spectral regions important for the identification of bacterial strains were determined and partially interpreted and the sensor for bacterial analysis capable of classifying strains based on 105 captured cells was designed. Therefore, the objectives of this work were fulfilled.
