L'adolescenza si caratterizza come la fase della vita interessata dai maggiori cambiamenti somatici che derivano principalmente dallo sviluppo fisico e puberale. Questi cambiamenti, a volte repentini ed improvvisi, a volte più lenti e costanti, coinvolgono l'intera personalità e richiedono un impiego di energie psichiche e di riorganizzazione dell'intera Identità. Il presente lavoro è articolato in tre studi sperimentali. Da una prima traduzione e validazione del questionario “Body Esteem Scale” (Mendelson, Mendelson, White, 2001) e di conferma della griglia di codifica dello strumento “Mi disegno” originariamente creata da Witkin et al. (1962) contenuti nello Studio 1, sono stati esplorati il ruolo che rivestono il genere, l'età anagrafica e il livello di sviluppo puberale nella percezione dell'immagine corporea e di Sé, attraverso l'impiego di cinque questionari e del “Mi disegno” in un campione di adolescenti italiani di età compresa tra gli 11 e 17 anni, nello Studio 2. Lo studio 3 ha indagato le medesime variabili in due gruppi di adolescenti affetti da disturbi del comportamento alimentare (anoressia e obesità). I risultati evidenziano che il genere e l'età anagrafica discriminano le percezioni, le rappresentazioni dell'immagine corporea e il valore attribuito al Sé nel campione di adolescenti; queste percezioni corporee predicono inoltre il livello di autostima percepito. Nei confronti tra il gruppo clinico e un gruppo di controllo, il genere e il livello di sviluppo puberale percepito influenzano le percezioni corporee e le rappresentazioni delle anoressiche e degli obesi. / In adolescence, pubertal maturation is an important event in developmental process, marking the transition from childhood to adulthood. These changes involve a psychological recognition and a new organization of identity. This work is articulated in three experimental studies. The first translates and validates two instruments: Body Esteem Scale (Mendelson, Mendelson, White, 2001) and “Mi disegno” originally created by Whitkin et al. (1962). Second study investigate the roles of gender and age in body perceptions, body representations and self esteem in a Italian adolescents sample who ranged in age from 11 to 17 years old. Participants completed five self report questionnaires and the “Drawing Me Test”. Third study explore the same variables in two groups of clinical patients. Results show that the gender and the age influence the body image perception and predict the self esteem. Comparing the clinical group and control group, the gender and pubertal status perceived modify body perceptions and representation of anorexic and obesity patients.

Occidentalism in Russian Travel Literature in the 18th Century: Example of Nikolaj Mihailovič Karamzin Summary The purpose of this research is to explore how the national and cultural identity of Russia was constructed in the eighteenth century through the vehicle of travel writing. At the heart of this research is a close analysis of the travels of the Russian author Nikolaj Karamzin to the Western Europe. Karamzin's Letters of a Russian Traveller is a travelogue in the form of memoir in epistolary arrangement based on his travels through the states of Germany, Switzerland, France and England in 1789-1790. The era and the author chosen are justified by the graveness that the eighteenth century has for the history of the Russian literature. An era of major transformations in all social and cultural aspects of the till-then known Russian lifestyle set the ground for a move towards modernity. By travelling to the Western Europe and displaying the values and rich greatness of some aspects of the cultural, political and social lives, Karamzin proposes a set of alternative national ideals. These ideals would assist the country and the nation to get closer to the standards of the Western traditions and subsequently closer to 'paradise' and the 'perfect' life. Stora sportevenemang i mindre städer : En kvantitativ studie om platsmarknadsföring och kunskap-attityd hos invånare vid större sportevenemang

Cities hosting huge sporting events is a growing industry and is a way to market the city towards the rest of the world. The goal is for businesses to make profit, attract tourist and be seen on the global market. However, as its marketed towards external audiences, the locals and how they are affected are usually forgotten in the process. The purpose of this paper was to study the knowledge and what attitudes individuals living in Halmstad, Sweden, possess regarding the World Table Tennis Championship 2018, as well as how they received information regarding the event. To find the answers to our questions we handed out surveys in central Halmstad during the period the event took place. We compared our results with how they're tied to theories regarding place branding, image-identity-reputation and the knowledge-attitude-behavior model. The main findings of our analysis were that our respondents of Halmstad county was well- informed about the event and did not feel like they needed more information. The majority viewed the event in a positive light, and overall people found the event to be important for Halmstad as a city and destination.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine a perception of the brand Kérastase Paris by consumers in Czech republic and Slovakia and compare it with the identity of the brand. I want to expose consumer habbits in the field of hair care and find out opinion about marketing communication of the brand Kérastase, that is supposed to correspondent with the brand strategy. I also want to expose main characteristics of loyal customer of the brand and propose some marketing recommendation for the brand Kérastase Paris.
