This graduation is concerned with the possibility of organizing the Olympic Games in Prague. It finds out positives and negatives presented by the supporters and opponents of the Games planned in terms 2016 or 2020 and regards a traffic impact on the infrastructure and everyday life in Prague before, during and after the Olympic Games. Finally it supports the variants of the efficiency sporting facilities after the end of the Games by the multicriterial optimization depending on the facility location.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the support of processes as described in ITIL v. 3 for managing IT infrastructure in Microsoft's product. The focus is taken on Microsoft System Center Essentials as a solution for monitoring and managing IT infrastructure in mid size businesses. First part of this thesis describes processes which support management of the IT infrastructure and which will be assessed with System Center Essentials. Description of the processes comes from the original ITIL publications in their latest version. The second part describes portfolio of the Microsoft products that are focused on the management of IT infrastructure. Followed by a detailed description of System Center Essentials based on the own evaluation of the application. The final part compares the support of the ITIL processes by System Center Essentials. If there is no support by System Center Essentials, solutions by customizing the application is considered or a support by another product from the System Center family.

The thesis is about a transport Infrastructure payments in the selected transport branches of the Republic of Belarus. The first part is about a general description of the transport infrastructure of the country that connects the European countries with the Russian Federation and the Baltic States. Focus on the actual state, quality, development of the infrastructure. The second part - the description of the methods and tools of payment. In connection with a progressive development of road infrastructure and different methods of payment more attention is given to this type of communication. There are several systems of road payment in the world. The first method is based on the principle of time, such as vignettes. Another method is payment before road use (Toll). The first method is not working in Belarus, so the work described the second method. The last part of the thesis is about the payment on the certain types of transport infrastructure in Belarus. Focus on such transport types as rail and road transport, also made attention to the air and river transport.

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of green infrastructure and its importance in a city. The work presents ten selected problems and precautions that cities encounter in the process of planning and designing the greenery. The practical part evaluates the current state of the administration and maintenance of urban greenery in Björnson Park near the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Brno. The analysis of the current situati-on and the problem research showed that the analyzed area has certain deficiencies in the management and care of public greenery. We not only observe a lack of awareness of trees and their needs but also face insufficient knowledge of climate change, which causes cities to overheat. It is necessary to respond to these changes and use all pos-sible precautions that are available.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá komplexní socioekonomickou analýzou okresu Příbram. Můžeme ji rozdělit do tří částí. První část pojednává o Teoriích regionálního rozvoje, které chci použít pro definování dalších směrů rozvoje okresu Příbram. Druhou částí je analýza, která zkoumá základní charakteristiku okresu, jeho obyvatelstvo, trh práce, hospodářskou strukturu a sociální a dopravní infrastrukturu. V třetí části je na základě zjištěných skutečností vypracována SWOT analýza, která shrnuje silné a slabé stránky okresu a poukazuje na možné příležitosti a hrozby v dalším rozvoji tohoto okresu.

This diploma describes basic socioeconomic characterictics of Region of Central Bohemia. It focuses mainly on demography, labour market, social and technical infrastructure and macroeconomics in this region. In theoretical part are mentioned the basic facts from these branches. In analytical part are described time progress mainly in years 2000 -- 2006, comparsion of subregions in Region of Central Bohemia, comparsion of other regions in Czech Republic and the dependence between indicators of particular parts. From knowledges has been made SWOT analysis and has been suggested arrangements for following developement of the region.

Green Infrastructure of Central Europe Green infrastructure is a strategically planned network that broadens the traditional conservation efforts to encompass the concept of ecosystem services. This study aims to identify green infrastructure network in Central Europe. Method presented in this thesis is an analysis of ecological connectivity based on ecosystem services potential quantified for CORINE land cover classes (Burkhard et al., 2009). Design of ecological corridors between the core areas represented by Natura 2000 sites is dependent on the capacity of ecosystems to provide ecological integrity and regulating services. Analysis was performed in ArcGIS Linkage Mapper extension. Green infrastructure network identifies 17 % of area of Central Europe that provides high values of ecosystem services. Corridors also create linkages between Natura 2000 sites and improve biodiversity conservation as well as they support migration corridors for large mammals. Full implementation of the Birds and Habitats directive and promoting of a European Green Infrastructure are two important targets of The EU Biodiversity strategy to 2020. High capacity transport infrastructure is often referred to as a one of key factors in regional development. The aim of this study is specify effects of capacity transport infrastructure in relation with accessibility to Prague on possible municipalities development in the Central Bohemia region. Basis of this research is identify indicators, that are significantly affected existence of transport infrastructure and accessibility strong core and then to formulate future development of concerned areas. We used spatial analysis methods with demarcation time accessibility zones for accessibility research. Long term development is monitored using index changes of relevant indicators between 2001 and 2011 and their significance are evaluated by analysis of variance. Key factors in municipalities on transport infrastructure were compared with SO ORP. Characteristic of significant effects in area has provide identification different values in development. In spite problematic data base this research confirmed development effects of high capacity roads, especially in demographic terms, but they are significantly influenced by the time accessibility to region core and area economic base. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the situation in cycling in selected region -- Prague. The thesis highlights the benefits of cycling in the city and its surrounding, assess the current situation and projected development. The theoretical part focuses on access to bicycle transport in Czech Republic with regard to the National Strategy of Developement of cycling transport. The practical part deals with bicycle transport in Prague. Here we find SWOT analysis, planned development of infrastructure, funding sources and methods of promotion. This thesis also provides suggestions for improving the environment for cyclists on the basis of foreign experience.
