Tourism in Turkey has passed a certain developmental stage, but today increases an opportunity to broach a new stage in the development of alternative types of tourism. Together with appropriate development of transport infrastructure, may be developed the other less visited regions of Turkey. The government of Turkey is good aware of this fact and concerned departments approach to this challenge with proper importance. Thus, it could be expected a positive result.

The theme of this thesis is the analysis of transportation in the Slovak Republic with a focus on freight transportation. The Output of the thesis is recommendations for improvements of transportation in the Slovak Republic. The theoretical part deals with theoretical knowledge on transportation, transportation infrastructure, principles of SWOT analysis, method for evaluation of alternatives and the general characteristics of the Slovak Republic. The practical part is focused on the analysis of transporation and creation of recommendations based on this analysis.

Claiming that the state of transport infrastructure is an important indicator of country´s competitiveness, not many would polemicize. The question of an appropriate method of ensuring the infrastructure financing can, however, raise disagreement. The reality of regular deficit financing of public expenditure, combined with a view of gradually declining support for transport infrastructure from the EU funds, provides space for alternative forms of infrastructure provision also in Central Europe. The aim of this work is to point out the financing via public-private partnerships (i.e. PPP), which is currently not very used form in the region. I will highlight the advantages, disadvantages and risks associated with this form by evaluating the cost side of concrete implemented PPP project in Slovakia (R1 expressway) and validate the hypothesis that despite the method of funding transport infrastructure through PPP projects is more expensive than the public procurement case, the "value for money" factor compensates the higher price.

The main objective is to prove the increasing trend of increasing volume of shipments, respectively the number of trains dispatched from Asia to the European Union (Westbound), respectively from the European Union to Asia (Eastbound). The first chapter is devoted to describing the history of the Trans-Siberian Railway. In the second part is the creation of a common CIM / SMGS and organization OSŽD. In the third chapter are described rail corridors from Asia to the EU, respectively from the EU to Asia. A final fourth chapter is practical analysis of rail transport on the basis of documents of companies that use these rail corridors.

This Master Thesis is focused on road, railway, air, river and bicycle transport infrastructure of Czech Republic with detailed focus on the city of Roudnice nad Labem and its sorroundings. Except for basic information about the infrastructure of transport modes in Roudnice nad Labem is the objective of the Thesis analysis of road transport and traffic situation in the city. The work gives a detailed analysis of the main city roads including their strengths and weaknesses, followed by a summary and comprehensive view of the traffic in the city, supported by traffic survey.

The thesis is based on the development of the rail infrastructure in the Habsburg monarchy in the second half of the 19th century with regard to repetitive interventionist tendencies of the state in this area. Particular emphasis will be accentuated on spontaneous building local railways, the research uses available archival materials. Thesis includes an analysis of the state's approach to the construction of railways, which reflects the contemporary legislation and characteristics of the business environment. The thesis compares the activities of private companies (based on the profit calculation) and the activities of the state and local authorities (based on strategic targets: military, economic, or development objectives). The ratio of these activities, but also their intensity, was affected also by the phase of economic cycle and this cycle had its political and economic roots. The work also concerns the problem of public goods.

This thesis focuses on the issue of ICT innovation in small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. The first objective is an analysis of ICT innovations; the second one is a suggestion of criterions suitable for the mapping of ICT performance and the third objective is verification of these suggested criterions in the real enterprise which is DATASYS. Sub-steps that lead to fulfillment of specified main objectives are to clarify characteristic of ICT and related concepts, as well as explanation of BSC management tool and determination its advantages and disadvantages. The last steps in this section are an identification of key trends, the exploration of new ICT technologies and the mapping of the ICT current state in DATASYS. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first theoretical part illustrates the importance of ICT innovation followed by ICT definition and other related concepts. The third part is devoted to BSC management tool which measures the ICT performance. The last part is a survey of current ICT trends and new ICT technologies. The purpose of the theoretical part is the knowledge of related theory which is reflected in the practical part. The second part is practical and it focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge. First sub-part describes default state of the technology infrastructure in DATASYS. The purpose of the second sub-part is to create BSC concept. Previous theoretical part and default current state are reflected in this BSC concept. The third sub-part is focused on the mapping the ICT performance to identify weaknesses in the company by comparing suggested and real values. The theoretical part of this work is created from all the information and knowledge gainded from scientific literature and research articles. The practical part is formed from the acquired knowledge which is based on theoretical as well as specialized studies.

Trade is the main form of international economic cooperation. The thesis deals with the logistics in foreign trade of the Russian Federation. The aim is to provide a clear overview of transport of Russia and to assess whether the transport infrastructure of the state corresponds to the structure of foreign trade.The thesis is divided into 5 chapters, where among the analysis of Russia's logistics are discussed current issues of the Transport Strategy of Russia (telematics, etc.)

This dissertation is attempting to estimate the effects of infrastructure on the economic performance in the sample of European countries. I created two models which try to estimate different impacts of infrastructure on the economy. First of them is based on the Cobb-Douglas production function which estimates the direct effect. Second, is the model based on the Holtz-Eakin and Schwartz approach which measures the spatial spillovereffect.
