The aim of this thesis is to compare the products of the life insurance offered by various insurance companies. Were selected five insurance - Česká pojišťovna, Kooperativa pojišťovna, ČSOB Pojišťovna, ING Pojišťovna and Pojišťovna České spořitelny. Products that are currently the best were selected from the product lists of these insurance companies. The aim of this thesis is to compare the products of the life insurance offered by various insurance companies. Using the method of evaluated sum and method TOPSIS was identified that the most ideal life insurance for the selected client is the product called Diamant by Česká pojišťovna.

Avaliação da eficiência na alocação dos ativos nas companhias seguradoras brasileiras

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar se as companhias seguradoras no Brasil otimizaram a alocação de seus ativos no período de 2001 a 2007. Dessa forma, baseando-se na carteira de investimentos dessas companhias e na teoria clássica de seleção de carteiras, formulada por Markowitz (1952), é possível avaliar a eficiência da alocação de todos os ativos. Assim, o trabalho buscou ilustrar a aplicação de um método de avaliação de ativos, bastante semelhante ao proposto por Leal, Silva e Ribeiro (2001) .Onde através da simulação de fronteiras eficientes, busca considerar a existência dos erros de estimação presentes nos retornos e covariâncias utilizados na teoria de Markowitz (1952). Os resultados obtidos mostraram que, segundo o método utilizado, a maioria dessas instituições alocou seus ativos de forma eficiente durante o período estudado. / The main purpose of this work was to evaluate if the insurance companies in Brazil are optimizing their asset allocation for the period of 2001 to 2007. So, based on the investment portfolios of these companies and on Markowitz (1952) Portfolio Selection Theory, it is possible to evaluate the investments in all the asset area. In this way, this work illustrated the application of an asset evaluation model, very similar to the one proposed by Leal, Silva and Ribeiro (2001), that, by simulating efficient frontiers, tries to consider the existence of estimation errors on the returns and covariances used as inputs on Markowitz (1952) Portfolio Selection Theory. The results have shown that, according to the applied methodology, the majority of these institutions allocated their assets efficiently during the studied period.

Denna studie syftar till att få en ökad förståelse om belöningssystem och hur de är utformade på bank- och försäkringsbolag men också att se uppfattningar som finns kring vad anställda på bank- och försäkringsbolagen har för attityd till belöningssystem och ifall det är en motivation till att nå företagets mål. Två forskningsfrågor ligger till grund för att uppnå och besvara syftet av studien. Studien har en kvalitativ metodansats med en abduktiv ansats. Teorin berör bland annat områden som syftet med belöningssystem och välkända motivationsteorier. Datainsamlingen har skett genom semistrukturerade intervjuer på två bank- och försäkringsbolag som sedan resulterade i en empiri där varje intervjus data har analyserats. Studiens empiriska material tillsammans med teorin resulterade i slutsatser om att belöningssystemen på de två företagen är uppbyggda på liknande grunder och har samma syfte samt att en kombination mellan monetära och icke-monetära belöningar fungerar bäst för att motivera anställda. / This study aims to gain increased understanding about the reward system and how it’s designed at Swedish bank and insurance companies but also to see perceptions about what employees of bank and insurance companies have for attitude to reward system and to see if there is a motivation to reach the company’s goals. Two research questions are the basis for achieving and answering the purpose of the thesis. The study has a qualitative method with an abductive approach. The theory covers areas such as the purpose of reward systems and well-known motivation theories. The data collection is done through semi structured interviews with two bank and insurance companies, which resulted in an empirical analysis where each interviews data has been analyzed. The empirical material of the study together with the theory resulted in the conclusion that reward systems at the two companies are structured on similar bases. They have the same purpose and that a combination of monetary and non-monetary rewards works best to motivate employees.

In this part of thesis is analyzed the price war, anti-discrimination directives and other important events. The following section is devoted to rating and both generally - term rating, description, rating process and rating of selected insurance companies. Specifically Česká pojišťovna a.s. and ČSOB pojišťovna a.s. and its changes over time. Then attention is focused on the development of regulation of rating agencies and the end of the work is devoted to future prognosis of the life and non-life insurance.

State tax revenues are the main component of financial flows to the state budget, and therefore subject to taxation almost all human activity, including the insurance sector. The most important connection between taxes and insurance branch represents income taxes levied by insurance companies. But their activities are also subject to other taxes, all of them together influence the activities and decisions of insurance companies in the area of funding in order to reduce the levied tax. Taxes impact on decisions of citizens which they try to influence in favor of the products and services beneficial to their lives and the state. Among them also include the private life insurance. Muchas de las actividades que realiza diariamente una persona, están expuestas a diferentes factores de riesgos negativos. Lamentablemente, varios de estos logran concretarse causando grandes pérdidas. Estos hechos amenazan a una persona en su integridad, su vida, su interés y su propiedad. Es por ello, que se deben buscar los medios que mermen el origen de estos eventos o al menos que ayuden a que no sea una gran carga para quien lo padezca. A este mecanismo hoy en día se le llama seguro, el cual es brindado por varias empresas de nuestro país. Con el tiempo estas organizaciones se han convertido en un medio que garantiza la reparación de un siniestro en su totalidad o en gran parte. Es por ello, que cada vez más personas van adquiriendo estos servicios. Dentro de este contexto, las compañías de seguros locales ofrecen distintos tipos de productos y servicios. El seguro vehicular es uno de estos y son los más solicitados porque el índice de siniestralidad en la capital frente a robos, choques y daños materiales en el sector automotriz han ido incrementándose en los últimos años (APESEG, 2019). Por esta razón, la atención de los siniestros se vuelve cada vez más complicada de controlar ya que la comunicación e información compartida entre una central de siniestro vehicular, el procurador y el asegurado se vuelve inexacta y poco confiable debido a la misma naturaleza del servicio y la premura de su atención. El presente estudio aborda las tecnologías y herramientas actuales que se usan en los procesos operativos de la atención de un siniestro vehicular en una empresa que brinda servicios para compañías de seguros. Se empieza mostrando el modelo tradicional de operación de una central de siniestros y su interacción con el procurador y asegurado, luego se presentan las tecnologías y modelos más actuales para que dicha atención sea más oportuna y eficaz, en otras palabras, una mejora en los procesos. Las tendencias van hacia el uso de herramientas de software basadas en plataformas móviles de uso extensivo y su integración con los otros sistemas, el cual es un soporte tecnológico ideal para los servicios que ofrecen las compañías de seguros. / Many of the activities that a person performs daily are exposed to different negative risk factors. Unfortunately, several of them fail to materialize causing great losses. These events threaten a person's integrity, his life, his interest, and his property. For this reason, means should be sought to reduce the origin of these events or at least help prevent them from being a big problem for those who suffer from it. Nowadays this mechanism is called insurance, which is provided by several companies in our country. Over time, these organizations have become a way of guaranteeing the repair of a loss in whole or in part. That is why more and more people are acquiring these services. The local insurance companies offer different types of products and services. Auto insurance is one of them and they are the most requested because the accident rate in the capital due to theft, collisions and material damage has been increasing in recent years (APESEG, 2019). For this reason, request of claims becomes increasingly complicated to control due to the communication and information shared between a vehicle emergency center, the vehicle attorney and the insured becomes inaccurate and unreliable due to the very nature of the service and the urgency of its attention. This study studies the current technologies and tools that are used in the operational processes of the attention of a vehicular accident in a company that provides services for insurance companies. It begins by showing the traditional operating model of a vehicle emergency center and its interaction with the vehicle attorney and the insured. Then the most current technologies and models are presented to make a customer service more effective, in other words, an improvement in processes. The trends are directed to the use of software tools based on widely used mobile platforms and their integration with other systems, which constitutes an ideal technological support for the services offered by insurance companies. / Tesis

Based on risk analysis and the current status of insurance coverage are proposed steps to make it more efficient by using the current offer of insurance products. This thesis also contains recommendations for choosing an insurer with regard to the ratio of the scope of the offered insurance protection and the amount of the premium.
